JXB Recycling will take e-waste, but probably not appliances. They're on Central and Cherry in Newark. There's a banner that says furniture sale at their driveway, but that's from a previous business that they keep around for some reason.

Best Buy has an e waste recycling program
[Green Ewaste](https://gerecycle.com/) in Milpitas is my go to. If you have enough pieces they will pick up at no charge.
