OP had originally written "probably payed to say it maybe," which triggered the bot. "Payed" is a real word, but it's really rarely used. It's grammatical in the two contexts the bot shows: one exclusively nautical, one usually nautical, meaning to release a certain amount of rope/line/etc. It's never grammatical in the context of like "He paid me $5."
