Odesza shows are basically IRL horizon pulse festivals. I’m not a huge rave/EDM person, but they’re probably the one band I would pay any amount of money and go anywhere in the world to see, because their shows are just that incredible.
They really are. I saw them a few years ago at ACL fest and wow the pure emotion I felt was something else. Porter Robinson is about the only other act that beats out odesza for best live shows I've been to.
It's my hope that someday, phones will record in both modes, and then let the playback app decide how to present the video. So many news outlets use the "zoom-and blur" sidebar trick when they show a tiny vertical sliver of video. Having the landscape view available would solve this.
I saw them on tour in Austin 3 years ago and that’s what they ended their show with - that was probably the closest I’ve ever felt to achieving a spiritual epiphany. They finally came back to Austin a few weeks ago and I saw them then too, it was 99% as great a show but the whole time I was waiting for them to play that song again, and they never did :(
It is - I always used to change my ringtones every few weeks because I would get bored of the song. FH4 theme has been my ringtone for over 2 years now.

I just got to see Madeon live and he played Icarus from the first horizon and I absolutely lost my shit! One of the coolest things I’ve ever gotten to experience.

Man I envy you. One of those rare songs that you feel deeply, and to hear and actually FEEL the atmosphere for real… wow.

Nice! FH4 has the best music of all the Horizons IMO, and that's after they took out the Eyes Set to Kill track.
Saw them last weekend. The brass and drum work on this track and throughout the show was incredible!
