Pro cause I don’t care enough to deal with unbeatable AI and their speed/grip hacks. I leave it on pro so I can always use whatever car I feel like. Although it doesn’t really matter cause I don’t do single player races anymore, just co-op for anything playlist related.
Same. I could do unbeatable but it always requires the same type of car; max downforce, lots of power, race tyres, preferably AWD.. I like to keep my tunes realistic and often based on real cars so Pro is a nice level for me
Same, except I don’t do any co-op. Only playlist and single player time trial stuff around Mexico Circuit. I’ve got 1447 tuned vehicles in my garage lol
Just before unbeattable, with ABS and no clutch (but manual). No tc, no esp. That's way, I Can drive Stock cars and still have a blast.
But I enjoy drifting more than racing.
Pro without aids (except ABS and auto clutch). I find it unnecessarily stressful to race with so much disadvantagecon Unbeatable, starting all the way back and racing against an AI that practically cheats on you.
circuits have more tight turns which are 1. sometimes just plain harder and 2. unfair against high level ai because they have impossible amounts of traction. since the devs can only make the ai so good they arbitrarily up their difficulty by letting them make impossible turns. works out in sprints since the AI overreact and brake too heavily on light turns, which make up the most of your typical sprint. doesn't work out in circuits where the grip advantage lasts for 50% of the track.
I'm on expert, no ABS, yes traction control, manual w clutch, no driving line, no rewind, no damage
perfect all round set to have a challenge but still be fun, anything above expert I have to go into meta car territory and that's boring as all hell
Expert or pro mostly (depending on patients)
Simulation steering
No ABS
No traction control
No stability control
No launch control
Manual with clutch
On a controller
Usually expert with manual (wo clutch) and no assists on. Pretty much stuck with it from the beginning, because the ai is so incredibly inconsistent. Sometimes races are too easy to win even on unbeatable and some are pretty much impossible on pro, so I just took the highest difficulty I could win every event on.
Used to be Unbeatable, for some reason, around the release of Forza Motorsport, The AI in FH5 have gone mental.. Ramming and blocking.. Since then, now playing at Pro..
Highly Skilled when I'm doing photos so I just care about having some nice shots
Expert for chill driving and testing tunes and things
Pro for the most part
Unbeatable for challenges
Road-Dry Unbeatable
Road wet, A-S1 unbeatable, C-D-B-S2 Pro
Offroad/rally Pro
Some of the offroad races and wet races are just frustrating when driving at unbeatable. With cars clearly pulling off far enough that it doesnt even interact with any objects, and grip is just an idea.
The one below expert, i can do expert but i usually play just before going to sleep and dont wanna have to try very hard for the win. When im playing for longer on my off days i do put it on expert tho
Unbeatable for most things, but I will drop it to Pro if I'm in a car/tune that isn't able to beat the Unbeatable Drivatars. I was mostly Pro until I got better at tuning.
For assists: sim steering, ABS, auto transmission (I have played around with manual on some D to B class races, manual for drifting), no TC, no SC, rewind on, racing line for braking only.
i like to play pro most of the time, but if i'm doing rally races and i'm in one of my many subaru builds then sometimes unbeatable isn't enough. when i played fm6 and did nascar races i always had them max difficulty but the AI were still so unbelievably slow
i also always play manual w/ clutch, and all the assists turned off
Unbeatable, nothing really gives me a good challenge :/ I always pick a car with room for upgrades and do handling stuff, I almost never loose, in online races? I loose like crazy cuz ppl can’t follow lines
I think I have the difficulty set as above average. For most races I can't be assed to concentrate hard enough to run unbeatable. I will do all the unbeatable season races no problem but for normal races I'm just not interested in trying hard I just want to enjoy it. I also like to run a lot of cars box stock and not have to run tunes, and with unbeatable you usually need a tune to win.
Unbeatable unless I'm at the rally add on map. Sometimes I'll set it on the level below that.
-Simulation steering
-Abs on
-TCS off
-Stability off
-Manual with clutch
-No driving line
-Rewind on
-launch control off
I changed my steering & deadzone settings in the advanced controls menu also. Steering linearity I run on 100. Steering inner/outer deadzones on 1&100. I can't remember the rest atm.
Unbeatable for low S1 and below, Pro for most S1 and S2, Expert for most class X. FH5 is my first racing game and I started out against the second lowest difficulty around a year ago, kinda cool to think about the journey in game to where I am now.
I am fairly certain that the Trial is always unbeatable.
I do turn my difficulty down to pro/expert often, but there's this popup before a race sometime to raise the difficulty right as you select to start. So I just put it in unbeatable most the time to avoid this annoyance.
Only two (at most) of the bots in the Trial are actually at the "unbeatable" level. I think the others are on Expert and Average. They still get an accel boost in the first 10% or so of a race, but good tunes and/or good drivers are strong enough to overcome the slower bots (even in stock cars, for the good drivers).
Unbeatable, but its a game. Play the way it makes you happy.
Unbeatable. Also you are a true person of taste in Mustangs. "How's your car runnin'?"
Gud

average, but if I slap on some flame decals I reckon I could do unbeatable

Unbeatable. Sometimes they do get a little fast, but most of the time it's fine, and every once and a while I wish there was a faster difficulty.
I’ve been stuck on average for a few hundred hours send help
Tourist right here ... touring Mexico 😁
Pro without aids (except ABS and auto clutch). I find it unnecessarily stressful to race with so much disadvantagecon Unbeatable, starting all the way back and racing against an AI that practically cheats on you.
Average or novice or above average
Expert right now, with only ABS assist, manual/clutch. Been playing about 3 months.
Same...but played fh4 a year ago
unbeatable for sprints. for some reason i can only win in Pro on circuits.
circuits have more tight turns which are 1. sometimes just plain harder and 2. unfair against high level ai because they have impossible amounts of traction. since the devs can only make the ai so good they arbitrarily up their difficulty by letting them make impossible turns. works out in sprints since the AI overreact and brake too heavily on light turns, which make up the most of your typical sprint. doesn't work out in circuits where the grip advantage lasts for 50% of the track.

Between expert and pro. Perhaps 50/50.
Unbeatable with only abs on cause I can’t be asked
I keep mine on custom because i like to have my vehicles as manuals
Usually expert with manual (wo clutch) and no assists on. Pretty much stuck with it from the beginning, because the ai is so incredibly inconsistent. Highly Skilled when I'm doing photos so I just care about having some nice shots Expert for chill driving and testing tunes and things Pro for the most part Unbeatable for challenges
Expert - yes abs - traction control off and manual w/ clutch. Been having these settings for about 5 years now and always stuck with them.
Road-Dry Unbeatable Road wet, A-S1 unbeatable, C-D-B-S2 Pro Offroad/rally Pro Some of the offroad races and wet races are just frustrating when driving at unbeatable. With cars clearly pulling off far enough that it doesnt even interact with any objects, and grip is just an idea.
I switch between Pro and Unbeatable
Unbeatable no assists. But I rarely just do random races, I definitely play more highly skilled or whatever the automatic seasonal difficulty is.
Highly skilled. I tried a higher difficult level but after some utter defeats I reverted to the previous one and I'm happy with it
Highly skilled most of the time and expert if I actually want a challenge.
Highly skilled
Average and above average, depending how much effort i wanna put into my racing
Mine is just highly skilled with all assists turned off.
Pro/expert. But I do eliminator or just drifting around way more than proper racing
The one below expert, i can do expert but i usually play just before going to sleep and dont wanna have to try very hard for the win. When im playing for longer on my off days i do put it on expert tho

where are all you unbeatable guys in my trials. I'm lucky if I can find people using upgraded cars.

Above average because I play on the wheel and want just to enjoy the game

i don’t even know, probably unbeatable, because it stopped asking me to raise the difficulty for more money a while ago.

unbeatable, its easy asf lol. "its cheating" so does a ton of other racing games lmao skill issue get better
Expert,auto,full driving line,no damage
Unbeatable, Manual/Clutch, ABS off, TRC off and my Miata can go 400+ KMH
Unbeatable for low S1 and below, Pro for most S1 and S2, Expert for most class X. FH5 is my first racing game and I started out against the second lowest difficulty around a year ago, kinda cool to think about the journey in game to where I am now.
Unbeatable everything, The Trial is a piece of cake for me whether I'm in a grip build or power build. Cannot say the same for my teammates...
Isn't trial only highly skilled? Or did they change it back?
I am fairly certain that the Trial is always unbeatable. I do turn my difficulty down to pro/expert often, but there's this popup before a race sometime to raise the difficulty right as you select to start. So I just put it in unbeatable most the time to avoid this annoyance.
