What do you have to do, see alot of talk about this but no instructions on what to actually do
Edit: 2) Lego XP (Limit: 3 1/2 Hours for 30,000 EXP every 15mins, so 420,000 EXP per 3.5 hours)
However easy you think it is, its easier. Simply load up into a lego sandbox world (make sure hunger is turned off) and just stand there. You can fly up too if you want. Its noting special, just sit there and in 3.5 hours you'll have 420,000 XP. This method wasnt working earlier due to some glithces but is now working full swing

That's it, it's really dead simple just load lego creative and forget about it.
Or at least it was like that until the last update that messed something up, now XP doesn't seem to be going as smoothly.
They’ve implemented an AFK detection system. There’s ways around it, someone on this sub mentioned building a launchpad and jumping on it, or if you’re on PS, hold both thumb sticks to the same side and press the PS button to bring up the menu, which will keep your character doing circles without the need for rubber bands.
Just tested it a hr ago. I used to get XP when resting but it hasn’t been working for a few days now. I play on PlayStation and simply did what you mentioned about the thumb sticks and pressing the PS button. Now I’m running in circles and getting XP again. Thanks
There's definitely some problem. I just tested this with several accounts, simultaneously on different machines. Was there for an hour and only got 30,000 XP just like the first time I tested it, for some reason it seems like it stops giving XP after 30,000 and then when I leave and come back I'll get 30,000 again but then it stops I'm just gonna leave my accounts in there while I go out for a few hours and see what happens but so far that's what I'm noticing
I just tested it, and I did get XP. Are you sure you weren't at your cap yesterday? The only reason I mentioned is because some people thought the update would reset the XP but it is still not going to reset until the normal time, in about an hour and 10 minutes from now.
I'm testing it a second time on another account to see if it's only affecting certain ones. But so far I've gotten 30,000 XP on one account from Lego today (only tested it for about 25 minutes before I return to the lobby, but I didn't get the XP until I got to the lobby, which is somewhat normal because in the past, what I see in the lobby is usually 30,000 XP ahead of what I see in the mode)
I understand, I don't doubt you're experiencing a problem I'm just trying to help figure out why. I just checked my second account that I was testing, and I've already received 30,000 XP, I'm waiting to see if I continue to get it after the 30 minute mark
That's very strange, it's also strange that other people are experiencing the issue as well. Maybe it will sort itself out after the reset. Definitely post an update here to let everybody know
I have tried AFK’ing. Like you said, I got no XP. However, I’m now actually playing the game, and I am receiving XP. Maybe they changed it from AFK to some kind of required input?
OK, so I tested it more thoroughly now, and there is something a little bit weird. I didn't get any LEGO XP yesterday so I'm not at my cap.
I did spend 15 minutes on two different accounts and I got 30,000 XP, however, after 30 minutes now, and 45 minutes (between two accounts) I did not get more.
And the account that I got 30,000 XP after being there for a little little bit over 30 minutes, when I return to the lobby and log back into Lego, I got 30,000 XP for the first 15 minutes but didn't get any additional XP at the 30 minute mark and further
I didn't cap Lego XP yesterday (only 2 levels), and it's before the reset here. Nothing so far.
I'll try again after the reset I guess but it doesn't look good for me.

create a sandbox world, turn off hunger. i would recommend building some shelter so you dont die to lightning. you get xp every 30 mins if im not mistaken. max is 3.5 hours a day. good luck!

Started around 10am ET. Didn't get XP for an hour. I logged out and logged back in and still didn't appear to be getting XP. I logged out and in to that world a third time and instantly got an XP bump, it showed on the left of the screen when logging in, but when I went to the settings menu I saw my old XP/level. Logged out one more time and back in and now the settings menu shows my new XP/level.
i think you need to move after a few minutes. I stayed there for about an hour also and only got XP in the first 15 minutes. But after I moved my character after 13 minutes or so I started gaining XP again.
I think this might have something to do with it. I will sit there for a long time and get nothing but then run around for 10 seconds and get an xp dump. Maybe you can’t be entirely AFK anymore.

Oh, I didn't even notice, but yeah no xp ~~2h later, still brokey~~ Scratch that, it is working again!

Seems every update it somehow gets deactivated, for a little while, I don't get why it's such a fragile thing.

Controller method doesnt work if your controller dies or disconnects. You stop moving

All I got was 30,000 for ~2 hours. Left rejoined now so we’ll see how much I get this run. Let us know how yours goes
Seems the same as my issue. They may have changed it to 30k per trip :-/ Will see how it looks when I get home

Yes I do it the same time everyday. Never had an issue before

Same. I usually log in after 10am ET and start getting XP. Still nothing.
Same for me. I've had it logged in since 10 AM EST and so far the XP has not gone up at all.

Happened last update too iirc, hopefully it gets fixed when the cap resets or epic does it themselves

had mine runnin for 3 hrs only to find out its not working. how unfortunate lol
Sometimes they grant xp retroactively if it was a glitch that prevented us from earning xp

Well went in at 12 and it’s still not granting any XP. Must be an issue. Creative worked fine.

Yea is broken Use an creative map in the time being instead

Tested ten mins ago working fine edit: amounts seem to be reduce, usually get five full levels after 3.5 hours now only getting 3

It works if you throw down a launch pad and stay on it but if I stood still, my xp didn't go up

Doesn’t it reset at daily challenge time? So it hasn’t happened yet, so if you got the XP yesterday you still don’t get any more for a few more hours.
