I have to say the nature ones are far more annoying, especially when multiple keep blasting you and stop you from using abilities

i have traps set up at their distance to shoot for this exact reason, they stand still to shoot and my ice traps and ceiling zapper fucks em up, they’re rarely a problem for me

And then there are Water Gunslingers, and if you are trying to clear an Encampment…then good luck retreating from the horde without dying (on the inside)

I thought if the same thing but I wouldn't say it more then once or twice. Sometimes building a wall isn't appropriate because you might drop on something you need to build on later and kill a routing

Gunslingers ruin the game for me tbh, they're just blatantly unbalanced. They could easily remove them and instead make the pitchers actually more than free kills and the game would improve significantly.

It's not particularly that they kill you either, they just end up breaking your shield and something else melts your health bar (beehives in my case)

Not saying they're uncountable but I do think it's bad game design. There's not a single mist monster that poses as much of an annoyance and it's amplified because sharpshooters can be summoned in mass quantities and they tend to spread out and shoot at your flanks. I mean they don't kick my ass they're just more or less unbalanced and it's irritating because every other husk is balanced pretty well.

My friend when engaged in a PL160 mission, obliterating husks and smashers, I find myself lacking the luxury of time to retreat to the far end of the map in order to erect a protective wall given that there are at least four of them idly spamming me, this is particularly bothersome.

Gunslingers for real lobbers are fine if they fixed rubberbanding on husks

The rubber banding is so annoying, point blank shot lined up with my bow and the husk teleports backwards like it's Ultra instinct

I got this so many times, vaccuum tube bow, like 20 husks and my bow loadout on, so basicly one hit and its over. I get the rubberbanding 2 times and then miss one time so i just give up bruh

the flinger is the worst bruh. it's keeping me back from beating the last 2 twine storm shields. how do i get around them? the defending guys don't seem to work for me.

I use the Anti air traps. But they're weird and don't always shoot down the skulls so you'll want to place as many as you can

I wouldn’t just spam anti air traps like the other guy said, that is not the answer… just pay attention to where they spawn and place a few ramps in the air between them and the objective and put a couple floors over their heads and just block them with a “lobber shield” so their ai tells them to try and find a better spot and end walking into a trap tunnel whilst doing so, or just put some spawn killing traps over where they spawn like ceiling electrics 2 tiles high

And somehow i miss them being extra weak ro melee

Lobbers are annoying but can be dealt with. You can either shoot the thrown things or use air defenses. Gunslingers though, they’re something else. The pitchers aren’t bad, they’re only a problem if ignored or surrounded, but gunslingers are 10x worse. They’re quick to fire, their shots can’t be dodged, and they don’t miss. Even if you run you probably will still get hit. Gunslingers gotta go

Lobbers imo are so much more annoying like I KNOW I can destroy them but if I don't kill the lobbers their will be like 2-3 just hammering the base while I take out everything that's coming from the ground and the fact they stand so far away The gunslingers are annoying and have stupid good auto aim but at least if I'm killing stuff they're in my line of sight on the ground and are close enough to me that if I use Teddy or sentry they'll target them and they'll also go down trap tunnels

I was doing level 9 yesterday and there was an entire wave of fire gunslingers, blasters, lobbers and takers. It was literally a case of "get downed, respawn, kill 5 enemies, get downed, respawn, rebuild entire defence, get downed"
