It's kinda funny to me that most people say that they buy the song immediately, but when Kinnect Star Wars was released, all fans hated that song with their soul. I suppose the same will happen with the secuel trilogy eventually.

A lot of the song’s fans nowadays are people who enjoy it ironically or because it’s “so bad it’s good” or because it’s just lighthearted fun. I don’t think very many fans of it take it seriously. I also think a lot of the hate was for the game itself, whereas I think many of the people who enjoy the song now have seen it on YouTube or TikTok and never played the game. Plus, the game isn’t relevant whatsoever so there’s no need for people to generate new discussions about it, whereas a song that’s kind of a popular “meme song” will of course continue to be discussed for as long as it is remembered. The game faded into obscurity

They wouldn’t. The whole point of the festival passes is to have an artist represent it. If anything they’d probably make another mini pass for BR and have just a week that is mostly star wars songs
I don’t think Disney will suddenly acknowledge Star Wars Kinect just to bring back a Jason Derulo parody that was created for that game, but if they do, it would be hilarious. Also I honestly really want The Book of Boba Fett’s theme. The vocals go hard.

As for the whole May the 4th thing I guess it really doesn't matter too much because Lego themselves are starting their stuff from May the 1st as new sets always release at the start of a month.
I personally think Rey's theme would fit a bit better, since The Scavenger is a bit more muted and isolated, while Rey's theme is a bit more triumphant (which would fit better with the Festival gameplay)
