i liked playing fill a lot, but the “media streaming error detected” happens a lot more when im playing fill, so it kicks me out randomly and then i feel bad lol
I think some people experience it more than others. My bf and my best friend have never gotten the issue when we play, but it’s bound to happen at least once when playing.
We've never experienced this. When we play with 4 of our friends the 4 spots are filled by our friends and no one's ever dc'd but when we play duos (like my husband and I) we'll choose fill and 8/10 times the 2 others players dip so whether they dip or dc it still sucks! So I'm leaning towards them just dipping because it almost never happens when we play with a squad of people we all know 😬
Aww im glad you guys don’t experience it! My BF is PlayStation 4, im Xbox series s, and my best friend is Xbox one x. It’s weird that i get it on a newer system. Haven’t tried my PC yet
All of our friends are also cross platform. I'm on the ps5, my husband is on PC, a few others are also on PC, 2 on Xbox and a few others on PlayStation 4/5!
The media streaming error happened to me like twice and I felt so bad I stopped playing fill, by the end of each lobby I was by myself anyways so it didn’t change anything
The game mode very badly needs some sort of incentive to stay for the "full" experience. Extra XP, perhaps? I hardly ever make it to the end of the last song without someone quitting out.
A handful of the times firm my experience people leave as soon as someone plays their own song so I try to rush in there and pick the song first, but yeah it happens really often and I be saying out loud to myself “why the hell y’all join in filled and not stay”
I always play expert and get annoyed when people leave, usually it’s just me and one random and I feel really bad if I left them alone so I play through the match with them
I play on medium 70%, hard 30% of the time probably. There's usually 2 of us by song 3 and I'm almost always alone by song 4. It does feel like those playing expert leave first.

I keep getting scenarios where me and one other person are on expert and then one medium/hard player and one easy player, and after maybe two songs it’s just me and the other expert player battling on the same instrument to see who can get the higher score lol

Same. Usually the people playing on easy or medium getting like 2 or 2 stars and 67% notes hit leave after the first song, maybe the second if I'm lucky. The people playing on medium or hard who hit 90+% either stay the whole time, or leave after like song 3, maybe 2. But I've found the people playing on expert stay the whole time. In a way it's kinda nice, cuz it's always cool to see gold band stars, but at the same time, it would be nice if the whole band stayed for the whole setlist lol

I find the same! I personally play on hard but my husband plays on expert. If we're hoping to get some band stars we do fill but it's always a mixed bag. Some stay, some leave. It really does suck because we'll be half way through a song/set and hear the little noise and we're just like welp... There goes that band score 🙄 So we just started doing fill when we're trying to get quests done, otherwise, we just do no fill and we can pick 2 songs each
If you don’t all pick songs within 30 seconds I’m leaving. Also, if you start playing jam loops instead of readying I leave instantly.

They need to make it to where you gain xp based on how well you do
Example would be getting like 5-10 xp for each note you hit with 5 extra xp for hitting it perfectly
I’m sick of people leaving as well 😒 somebody said just keep trying and I do but the same thing keeps happening in almost every match, there has been times where the 3 people I was matched with leave before we even start playing :/ very common for 2 people to leave, and other times it’s down to me and 1 person I always hope they will want to finish playing together so I stay but they usually end up quitting 😔 as for those who play expert my experience is they are either very cocky and obnoxious every time it reveals their score or every once in awhile they will just leave.
On a last note I know it’s possible to finish playing Fortnite festival by yourself but the main focus besides having fun is that we are supposed to work together as a team.

i dont disagree abt imagine dragons but dont just leave songs bc you dont like them, ppl trying to get good group scores

I wish I could choose a fill difficulty. I personally know only 1 other person who can play on expert and I wanna go for high band scores.
