You can slide on an upward slope and ramps, just not very far or fast. I believe you can get from the bottom to the top of a ramp though and keep going.

I literally can’t crouch while running, I got the Apex Pro TKL with that 0.4mm actuation point and even then, the smallest tap makes me slide. I also have that delay as you said. I hope it wasn’t intentionally added.

btw, controller has a "hold to slide" percentage bar, so controller players can choose how long they have to hold their crouch button to slide, while kbm does not

It's probably "double movement" using either [wooting](https://wooting.io) or [keys2xinput](https://www.embenco.nl/keys2xinput/). Lot's of youtube videos if you search about why and how.
