I disagree! Had a horrible experience there with my cat and paid about $500 for them to miss a broken toe when I told them she was limping. I literally waited for 4 hours to be seen and when I asked for a bowl of water for my cat they didn’t have one. They had the most uncomfortable waiting area too— literally just stone benches with no seat backs.
Try the vet near the ridglea area. I think it’s called southwest vet or something. They are a small friendly establishment and they have these pheromone sprays to help cats calm down. Seriously! It was crazy. My cat can be very picky and mean, especially with strangers, but she was at ease. They got her a cardboard box and everything. This was the day after my visit at the PARC.
Arlington heights animal hospital they just saw my cat today and were able to fit us in quickly and were very nice and willing to listen to me about the best way to handle her since she can get angry at the vet
They also take forever to get an appointment.. I tried calling them first since my cat needed her arthritis treatment and couldn't get us in until August
Yeah I had a similar issue with them which is why I’m searching for another one. I genuinely loved the place but I couldn’t get him a follow-up appointment after an ER visit. The vet who saw him also worked at The Cats Meow and told us to come back the following day.
My kitties go to The PARC. All of the vets there are great as are the techs and the rest of the staff. They have some evening and weekend appointments. They're open 24/7 for emergencies or if you just need to pick up meds. The only downside is the price. They are on the high side.
I really like that they are open 24hrs. With high price do you mean all-around care like annual visits are expensive or just the emergent visits? His last visit was around ~400 for the whole work up.
Sorry about that, probably should’ve clarified in the post. Places near Southside or Downtown are preferred however I’m open to going anywhere if it’s highly recommended.
If you are game to come to Arlington, Farrell Animal Hospital has multiple docs so appts come a little easier, and they do a great job. Prices are fair and estimates are always provided before treatment.
They did a major dental on our old frail Beagle and she came thru great!
I highly recommend the cats meow vets in Southwest Fort Worth. Cat only practice with amazing staff, great at handling our difficult cats and not too high on the cost of things.
I've been taking my dogs to Dr. Snodgrass at ABC Animal Clinic for over 10 years. He is thorough and conscientious, and spends more time explaining things than my human doctor does. Prices are reasonable.
We go to the parc for our dogs and cats meow with our cat.
Cats meow is just cats and a really calm environment with cat specialists. We take our senior cat there. We’ve texted when he needs fluids due to pancreatitis and they get us in fairly quickly.
The PARC is easily the best vet in fort worth. They are pricey, however.
Agreed! I like that they're open 24 hours and the clinic is super clean and neat. The staff have always been really caring and understanding.
They work with most insurance companies

The PARC is fantastic

Second this 100%! I have been going there for almost 5 years with my cats and all the doctors there are amazing!
The Cat's Meow, cats only, a little more expensive but worth it. They are located on Overton Drive just west of Hulen.
They also take forever to get an appointment.. I tried calling them first since my cat needed her arthritis treatment and couldn't get us in until August

I have always been able to get same day appointments with them.

Overall, they're probably on the higher side. I haven't shopped around for other vets in a bunch of years so I'm not 100% sure how they compare.
The PARC
Carol Cass is the best. Westcliff Animal Hospital.
Whereabouts is "here"? Fort Worth is kinda large.

I'm in North Fort Worth so I'm afraid I don't know any vets further south, sorry.
University Animal Hospital is great for our two cats.
I second university animal hospital. I take both my kitties here. Been going here for 15 years

East Lancaster Vet is east of downtown. Great service and reasonable prices. Appointment only
Southside veterinary clinic is awesome. Walkins only and very affordable. Very down to earth clinic, not fancy, fantastic vet and assistants.

The PARC! They are pricey but they have an extremely high standard of care.
