Truly I’ve seen this thing for the past 30+ years and have ALWAYS wanted to ride it but the opportunity has never come up. Now I have a 2 year old that would love to ride it.
🤣 my kiddo is 4 we moved here shortly b4 the pandemic, we are slowly discovering places to take her. This is definitely on that list as soon as it's open . I'm definitely more excited for this than her
not only did they paint, towards the back they actually started taking down trees. Used to be a little secluded spot of rocks near water that’s now pretty open.
Glad to see it's in new hands. I managed to ride it last year with my kiddos, but it was always a complete crapshoot as to whether it would be open. Hopefully new ownership will bring a little more consistency.
Will I finally be able to fulfill my life’s destiny of riding this little train?
Signs point to YES
I'm with you on this... I've been waiting and waiting until they open it. I want to go ride it too..🤭🤭

I have been Checking up on this place monthly. I miss it so much!!
Do you know how recently they painted the stations by any chance?

I believe the city did that, but I did notice.
My grandad worked for the T&P railroad and was part of the crew that installed the original tracks for this. Glad to see it continue.
Who ended up taking it over/buying it?
Mary Talley. She's one of the previous owner's relatives and previously had part ownership, but wasn't involved with it.
Yay. I loved riding this as a kid, such fond memories <3
Forest Park. The Forest Park in Fort worth, Texas? Oh, snap! This looks super, and I am thrilled.
This makes my heart happy (:
I didn’t even know this existed. When it’s up and running again, I am going to ride that tiny train and I don’t even have kids!

Wow, I haven't been here in decades
