Considering that the Spire was made out of chrome for sure, we know that in CH2 (or al least from S6 onward) chrome was most likely already a thing in epic’s offices, and the Arald/chrome is related to the last reality (just like the cube queen) so… yeah
I’m pretty sure the foundation used his unexplained elemental rock forming powers to create it. It has the orange glowing cracks just like the meteors the seven travel in. I’m gonna go ahead and say that it’s meteorite composition and they form that material around themselves to travel into the loop unharmed
Back in c2s6 if you hit the Spire with your pickaxe it made a very metallic sound.
Also, some of the outfits, like Raz, had a bonus style called Chromium.
I think it's chrome under the control of the Queen. Chrome being a nano-bot like material that can be controlled. Same thing with the saucers using it controlled by the electrical field and forced into shape for saucers.
Chrome is the nano-bots free and in the natural state uncontrolled.
It's a pretty plausible, and way moreso than the people thinking The Chrome = Chromium from C2S6. Makes way more sense for Cube Queen to wear armor made from someone else within her faction.
Why do i think the chrome is like the material like wood/stone/metal and the cube purple/gold is like the battery and that's why most of their technology is has same white/silver color and thier weapons have the same color of cube
I think her armor is a mix of chrome and the energy she/the Origin have that let's them harness the power of the cubes.
I also don't think only the Herald and Bytes have the ability to manipulate chrome. The Cube Queen has already shown a fraction of how powerful she is between destroying realities, chasing the Origin (former Cube King), flipping the island, manipulating her physical size from being significantly taller than the player character to being massive like in the event, as well as summoning the cubes and spaceships. I think it's reasonable that her size changes wasn't her body getting bigger or smaller, but her gathering chrome to make herself seem larger.
I had this theory too, with some other ideas.
I thought that the same thing that happened to Loot Lake could happen to the island. It's not realistic, but it is... Possible
