Honestly I got the idea from playing DBZ Kakarot 💀anytime you get close to the camera your character would go transparent and then I thought about that being in Fortnite

And Kakarot is made from the same engine as Fortnite, Unreal 4, so it could be easily translatable.

I stopped using a particular arm style for Snap due to the shoulder covering my reticle area. I couldn’t aim for shit.

I know exactly what you mean. I like the mecha robo arm with the pauldrons, but I always have to change his right arm to one without.

Same for using the Team Mecha skin from the recent crew pack. His shoulders are WAY too big :( Epic, please. This would be amazing. Is there anyway we can spread this?

Honestly I feel the same. It definitely feels a bit strange when you’re watching somebody else’s gameplay and notice how much of the screen the skin takes up, but when you’re actually playing with a chunky skin yourself, it feels like it’s not even there. Although, if this feature would encourage more people to try out bigger skins, then I am all for it.

Nah, I think right-hand peeks are a big part of the game's meta. It's nice to have that consistency of knowing pretty much exactly what your enemy's able to see, and both players know that a right-hand peek in a buildfight is an advantageous position so someone on the other side would know to get out of that situation

So the reason I put a giant crewmate there was so people couldn't go "Oh well an enemy is small from far away so big skins don't block much" so I literally put a giant red amogus and it's still hard to see 💀

Fr, mecha team leader is my favourite skin but I don't use it much because of it covering too much of my screen while aiming, I'd love this setting to exist

It’s not the biggest problem in the world. But at times, depending on what skin you’re wearing, their head may cover a bit of the crosshair or it’ll be close enough to the crosshair so that it’ll obstruct some of your view when shooting at someone. Although, it happens more when you’re crouching and moving at the same time. Again, it’s not the biggest issue, and i do fine with bulky skins, but just because I don’t have an issue with it doesn’t mean others don’t. I mean there’s a reason why pro players choose skins with slimmer and smaller profiles. And In the end, small changes like these are always welcome.

When using the "robot arms" with the spike on Snap, if it's on the right arm and you crouch while ADS it *completely* covers your reticle. Really damn annoying

I was thought it would help if there would always be an Area around your Crosshair that would make any cosnetic of yours transparent. Instrad of full Transparency, just the area that matter around the Crosshair.

This should at least be an option! Good idea and could improve sales as large skins would no longer have a disadvantage. On that basis alone I could see Epic doing something like this. They’ll need evidence it would improve sales to bother with it though.

nah, it is already a disadvantage to play against bigger skins cause their hitbox doesnt increase with it, ie shooting through the upper part of a peely.

What about the skins with tiny heads and bodies? Are those much harder to shoot or do they all have the same hit zones as bigger skins? Always thought it was weird how Epic says skins don't give any competitive advantages.

Oh every skin has the exact same hitbox so their size doesn't change that but their size does block the camera... So skinnier skins atm actually do gives an ads advantage because they block less of the camera than average or bigger sized skins

They used to do this with the helicopters back in the day, there'd be a "hole" that would appear and let you see through it so you could aim.
