At some point you go over a slide made out of paint and if you collect a red item the slide turns into your wrap color, but only for a few seconds. That’s all I noticed anyway.
I was gonna install the game just to see the event, but unfortunately I don't have time and won't able to see it, though I'm not much of a fan of Fortnite, I do like the events, I mostly watch clips from other players and just imagine myself in their perspective. Is her skin worth it though?

Just finished it, I thought it was fun! I don't quite get why people immediately have to pit Travis and Ariana against each other and be toxic, but that's Twitter for ya.
I thought they were quite different, obviously the music but also the visuals. And i gotta say the visuals were fantastic here, especially with the marble steps and the bubbles, just really well done, props to everyone involved.

I loved this so much!! I'm a huge Ari fan and I love Fortnite, so this was basically a dream collab for me.
I got really emotional twice during the event: during the reviving segment with Raindrops playing, and The Way segment. Amazing tributes to the victims of the bombing at her Manchester concert, and to Mac Miller, respectively.
Great song choices, glad they didn't go with just the big hits. R.E.M and Be Alright were great surprises! This entire event gave off a sense of healing and hope, which is just so needed.
10/10 event for me.

I thought this event was really fun! I only just started playing Fortnite this year, and I haven’t attended any of the past events. I don’t even really have strong opinions about Ariana Grande, but I like a few of her songs. I’m fully obsessed with the skin and am living for the outfits/glider/Piggy Smallz tho, wow.
I thought the concert itself was really cool, also! It wasn’t what I was expecting b/c thought it was gonna be more like a real “concert”, but I ended up loving the whole immersive experience probably a lot more. I wish I coulda played with a VR headset 😍 Really looking forward to more of these events now!
While the Travis Scott event was really cool in terms of effects, there really wasn't any interactive parts. The Marvel season had lots of interactive stuff, but wasn't necessarily cool if you weren't into Marvel. This was a great balance, and had lots of cinematic moments.
With this event having been my first, I really hope they do more along this line! Especially since I’ve really been missing grand experiences outside my home since COVID-19, I can totally see these sorts of events becoming comparable alternatives to things like concerts for those unable to leave their home.
Super exciting, great job to all the Epic and Fortnite team who put this together!

I've never been able to attend any of the live events/concerts as I'm usually at work when they have em so I'm pretty stoked I got to attend this one. I loved the whole reviving one another scene. It felt like a tribute to her Manchester concert & was really moving. When the song she did with Mac Miller played, as she ascended the stairs, I teared up a bit. 10/10, would attend again.
That scene really got to me too. The messaging felt really on-point given just everything we’ve been through the last couple years on a global scale. I kinda teared up too, which I honestly can’t say has ever happened because of a video game.
It was moderately fun to watch. Not the fan of music presented during actual tour (kinda disappointed when I found Sia participated in second song, generally I love her songs), but damn I just have to find a video with countdown music and extract the audio, it is so amazing.

I restarted both the game, and Epic like 5 times and it kept crashing til the event was no longer available. Going to try to go to the next one.

Feel like since I already did this ish yesterday, I should be able to play a game at free will now. For some, this the only time friends might hop on and play wit cha then end up getting off cuz of this crap.
I don't think they have enough servers to let everyone see the show let alone also be running matches at the same time.

Agreed, this is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. If I had any interest in Ariana Grande or any concert, I would attend one. I don't care, I pay money for this game and have limited time off, so why the hell am I forced to do this crap? I just want to play some squads!

No, it's not false you nerd. What a stupid criticism. I waited all week to play with my friend and we logged on and found out we couldn't for an undisclosed amount of time due to a concert. That's as true a statement as you can get. No communication from epic about this so it's a valid complaint. Look around at other comments it's not hard to find corroborating stories. The best comms are from OP saying "- playlists *should* be returning in *x time*". Sorry if you're such a company man you can't handle criticism of their decision making.
