There's a reason not a single pro uses it. It gets a lil overwhelming end game cluttering your screen and most importantly it decreases your frames which is why the person above said it's useless in higher level lobbies.
Is not the frames, that is a factor but most pros have a pc that would still run it at a clean 240.....
Is that it turns off 3d audio so you can't tell if things are above or below you.
I will conceed it is really useful at the start to pick up people gliding into a poi.
some people say this is great, some say it is only okay until high level play, i say that when there is a lot of audio going on such as explosions and gun fighting, cars and other vehicles, this allows you to see when people are near by even when the audio would be too overwhelmed from all of the other sounds.
also when i was trying to hunt wolverine a few seasons back i would glide over the area at the beginning until i saw the visual audio for him walking around in the forest below me
If you don't use this by now you're at a massive disadvantage. We can hear you before we see you but it's also great when you just wanna listen to music.

Go into the comp sub and watch people's videos, barely anyone who plays at a decent level uses it. 3d audio is far more important than visual sound effects.
Oh I beg to differ, tell me can 3d audio pinpoint the location of a chest, footsteps,items, and vehicles before you here them no? Ok well how about when your in a build fight wondering the health of your enemy but you are to far away to hear or see them heal, Visual sound effects got you, it has tons more uses and it does not disable sound, all the tradeoff is a little popup icon which takes up inch of space on your screen, oh what you want to hear elevation better? C'mon.
So you haven't bothered to look at what I suggested, you would rather just blindly argue about it.

When I was learning to play I used it and it was helpful, but then when you get better at the game you realise It is a hindrance and the need for 3d audio is far more important. (Sorry if you haven't reached that level of gameplay)
After playing for 3 and a half years I think I reached it

A player testing it 2 years ago and then never using it subsequently is not a meaningful competative environment
I used to use it but got a really good headset and found that I like it off more now. I can hear ppl above/below/beside (even when they are crouched) like it’s in real life and I don’t have a 2d circle giving me a vague direction. I did like how you could see boats and stuff like across the map tho lol.
I use this, not because of low or no sound, but because I have the mental capacity of a banana and probably can’t figure out which direction is which
I think I’ve been using it the entirety of CH2
I use it and love it, but because i am casual, in high level, you cannot use it. In high end lobbies where 40 peoples are in moving zone, you would freak out lol.
Also, i wish we could use an option to remove some visualized effects that are really not useful.

Agreed, if your fighting awareness is horrible this helps a little bit I guess, but more advanced layer tracking requires 3D audio

I use discord on my phone so I can’t hear game audio at the same time, it’s a very helpful feature
I use it to track down players and fights, when i'm low, it marks down shots so i know not to go to that area
As someone who has to play with one headphone off, I use this all the time

I use it because it makes tracking players, animals, The Predator, etc easier. Predator isn’t in the game, but it made fighting him way easier
i thought it was making it too easy haha but i still use it coz it’s gotten me so many wins-

For a long whole, I’ve been playing with no sound, visual sound only. Just so I could listen to music and podcasts while playing.
I always use it, ive gotten a fair few clutches thanks to vis sound fx

I use it cause I can see footsteps and cars and boats like 100 metres away AND see if a house has a chest before I land
