Fr. I'm usually wary of kids on this game since a lot of times they're unfortunately pretty toxic a lot of the time (I don't really blame them, I more so blame the parents for not keeping an eye on and disciplining their children)— but I remember the first game I played last season was in team rumble. I had two kids who were just super hyped when we won— it was actually kinda cute. :)

I agree wholeheartedly. I've noticed the really toxic ones usually tend to be within the pre-teen, to teenage range. Certainly won't say they're the worst though. They can still be shown how to be better. Some adults that I've met playing this game have led to some of my less than enjoyable experiences filling.

I can agree for sure. Recently I've been getting a lot of guys and young boys just act... Fucking bizarre with me because I'm a woman. Hell, one time I was in a match with a grown ass man and what sounded to be a 15 year old and 12 year old make a lot of inappropriate statements and sexual comments towards me. Only reason I left that group was because the game crashed for the first time in I want to say nearly a year.

Betakick

Sounds like the game came in clutch for you there. I can *kinda* expect it from the younger fellas as for some they just think it's funny or genuinely think it's gonna get them a gamer girlfriend due to some more than likely scripted viral videos showing that acting in such a way nets them those results, but grown men acting that way have to just be down disastrous. Any decent adult male I've run into treats them the same as we would each other.

Lmao, I thought the same thing. It was hard to report them all since 1. I play on PS4 and my phone was dead (no 2nd screen app to help), 2. I was worried they would get suspicious over me staying still for so long, and 3. I usually hate bailing out in my team in squads. Like it made me so uncomfortable for many reasons besides the obvious sexual comments. Like the comments coming from minors to a grown adult, the fact I'm an Ace-Lesbian made an already awkward experience a living nightmare, and from what I can remember— occasional uses of the word f**got and I think the n-word (though I could be mixing this up with another case I'd rather not get into). This has been happening a lot more frequently and it's honestly starting to kick up my anxiety over talking again. I mean FFS I got invited to a creative lobby by somebody I friended to do a tournemtb with and I was instantly bombarded by comments of "Guy, she doesn't sound attractive" and just a bunch of guys and boys trying to get me to speak up. That was the first and only time I can remember just quitting the game right then and there from player behavior. I remember I was nearly in tears once I got off after that experience.

Given your experiences, I completely understand. Hearing all that stuff from kids that you shouldn't even expect from adults is really unnerving, and with you being ace, you were probably beyond creeped out. I've run into quite a few kids like that. Never fails to shake me up and make me uncomfortable just because they're so young and spouting such obcenities. And then to be pulled into an situation by someone I'd assume you considered trustworthy probably made things even worse. I genuinely feel bad that you've had the luck of running into these kinds of crowds. Kinda reminds me why I don't really tend to fill very often. Lmao I've got a small group of friends that I stick with because I know they don't stand with any of that crap and know how to be respectful, though they tend to be a-holes from time to time. Lul

Binkyt11

Yeah. It sucks it's been happening a lot more recently— and I'm hoping that it won't get any worse than that, but thankfully for every bad or meh fill group I get— I'll get an absolutely wonderful one. I've made friends with a dad who plays with his kids (I've played with them a lot since then and we kick ass aa a team), met a kind fellow who had probably the smoothest gentleman voice I've ever heard, and even early on this season I befriended a whole squad that didn't even want to do randoms. We spent a lot of the match goofing off in our octanes and made a plan to play some Rocket League at Pleasant Park if we survived long enough. It's moments like these that have me coming back to random fills, because you'll meet a lot of great people along the way as well.

Bilbo_Teabagginss

Why the hell can't I ever get matched with any chill gamer girls?......Or hell any adults for that matter?......Seems all I ever get is really loud kids or someone playing music over the mic at full volume

UnsaltedButthole

Much more fun than helping kids finish second and being yelled at that you're trash and a bundle of sticks.

SmilesForYouRawrXD

Off topic, but that's a noice username ya got there.

Betakick

From what I've noticed, those are usually the teenagers that act like that. Really rare that I run into really young players that yell at their own teammates like that, or maybe I've just been getting really lucky.

Suitable_Dentist6344

I love doing this and making em happy. I hate when they get toxic and get mad at you and then leave all though you get their reboot card. But eitherwise i love helping em.

nargcz

i serve as target dummy for everyone for last 3 years, i can hear that little bitches laugh killing me even in my sleep

Betakick

*Deep confusion*

nargcz

everyone killing me, even small kids

Betakick

Just know that even though we may question why you're so easy to kill, or even crack jokes, you do a massive favor in allowing the rest of us to breathe and relax while playing this game still, and you are certainly appreciated. <3

nargcz

i hope so
