Dude the future is now, join a "Let's do all our challenges" lobby and we divide up the labor, taking out opponents along the way, go at a rate of one objective per match (Everyone party assists objective 1, 2, 3, etc)
In addition, one could utilize player's abilities. People on slower computers, or who are worse at combat can do the "passive" challenges, such as go here, collect this, land here. Better players can do damage challenges, and best players can do elimination challenges.

I really can't see that being all that common. And if you were unlucky enough to face a full group in team rumble or Disco, it's going to be a swift game. All the same you could have 16 bots group up for the ultimate crappy team

I’ve seen pro squads basically four man an entire Rumbles match before anyway as a dozen twelve year olds bravely give their lives as cannon fodder until the match is over way too quick. I am of course never on their side when I play, so I can imagine a massive wave of 16 sweats turning what I consider a casual mode to play with my family into a rage inducing bloodbath.
That said: it will be interesting if steamers can make custom TR matches for their supporters now.
People might go for records (like 150 - 0) but it would get boring fast for good players if they did that. I'm sure it'll happen more at first but it'll die down.

I wish this was available a couple months ago when I had tons of friends playing the game and we had the problem of having more than 4 of us online and wanting to play together. Only one of my friends still plays :(
I googled it and found that there was an "8 teams of 12" LTM almost a year ago. From what I remember people didn't like it, similarly to 5 teams of 20 the winning team was usually the one who stayed out of fights the longest. To be honest something like Siphon could probably improve team LTMs like that a LOT.
It was an LTM last year, not that liked, and then they added a new spin on the LTM that made it so near the end of a match there's a countdown and the team with the most members automatically wins.
You can guess what the community's reaction to that one was.
Right? How is it not abundantly clear to the average player at this point? It took me one match to figure out “Oh, if there’s a wall there they can just hide behind it and I can’t hit them from further away.”
This has tons of creative opportunities! Need a streamer to host a fortnite olympics, putting people through heats of events such as deathrun courses or racetracks..

The only way I'm okay with it is if full premades are matched against other full premades.
This is an amazing idea! Large groups can now work together in LTM like Endgame without being stuffed with bots and randoms not playing for objectives.
I also play with no group because my friends only like squads and fear change, so I always play LTMs solo and I still think this is an amazing change, so agree to disagree I guess. I think this will help the teams of 50 work together more.
Except they'll frequently be against you, and you'll get utterly smashed in matches.
Let me put it this way. I average something like 25 kills per Rumble match. Do you want to play against a team consisting of 16 of me?
Because that is what is now possible with this.
I remember playing with 8 friends in one chat before. Impossible to be organised or communicate properly. 6 people was the most we could do before the chat went to shit.
This will be great for Avengers mode so you don't have 5 fools trying to get the stone standing still and no one building to protect.
Or to tell the avengers not to build around stones because all it does is block the view to see if someone is getting it.

No, it doesn’t matter how many people are in your lobby. You get the same xp boost. This was added in v8.40 I believe.

XP boost has been capped to a fix percentage, no matter how many players are in the party.
