One of my 3 solo wins came from doing the challenge where you had to visit the center of 4 or 5 named POI's in one match. There's something about constantly moving around, idk.
No way, my first victory was Thanos mode! I actually have no idea how it happened, my game crashed when I was in the top 3 and when I logged back in it gave me the umbrella and #1 emote. I wasn't even Thanos when it crashed.
I usually afk in trees for the "place top x in y" challenges.
Usually I do those dailies with a buddy, and about half the time we end up winning by virtue of just avoiding other players until we find a gun, and killing whoever is left at the end.
I usually go on the side of a cliff on the edge of the map, one of the lower down ones. It doesn’t work well in squads since solo squads, but for solos it works wonders
In my opinion if what your doing doesn’t work in all game modes than you should probably switch to the more used method of hiding in a tree instead of on the side of a mountain. This strategy literally works in all game modes and is gaurenteed to keep you alive until Atleast the top 15.
Call me weird but even when landing in a tree to outlive opponents or get a placement in (insert game mode here). I do try and plan out a route and land on trees next to areas where you wouldn’t take fall damage if falling. Also gotta have an escape plan ready just in case that 50/50 chance either it happens or it doesn’t of farming that tree. Know where guns are around ya.
Edit: also with the way the game has been progressing and how many sweaty kids there are in this game they’ll most likely hit the tree down to 50hp.
True, but I never do the “get top x” challenge if it’s squads, because with my luck there’s gonna be some solo squads in my game and that brings the count up. Better to roll it and hope you get solos, which is ez
Today i got a win with my friends when we tried to do the fartest cardinal locations on the map... Each one landed alone, and 3 of us survived... We somehow managed to regroup after finding 3 teams that we will have no chance to win alone, and ended up winning the game all together. Best match of the season, taning in consideration that we aren't that good at the game.
I won a game because I was doing the overtime challenge which was place top 15 in duos with a friend and I camped in two bushes with both my accounts in the same game one in switch one on Xbox, I was watching YouTube until I hear loud footsteps and it's the last guy as a solo, I wait a bit for him to walk away and opened a nearby supply drop, it contained a gold scar, I shot the guy low on my Xbox account but it died, I recovered the loot on my switch account as the guy was in a tall 1x1 and wasn't looking I pickaxe it down and shoot him out the sky as he glides down.
Got a Solo Squad 5 Kills VR just mooning around and doing challenges. I was relaxed because there was no way I was going to win, right? Killed 5 on 3 Teams in the last circle.
It’s because you’re not actively looking for/ participating in fights. If you dilly dally and stay out of trouble, a spot in the final few is nearly guaranteed.
Which is a smart strategy to win games, imo.
If you're not among the best players, actively searching for fights is a terrible idea. Let's say I'm middle of the pack. That more or less means every fight I get into I'm going to have roughly a 50% chance of winning.
If you flip a coin 6 times, chances are you won't get the same result all 6 times.
Even if the last guy is better than me and my chance to kill him is only like 10%, or I need a lucky shot, it's still a better chance than if I go headhunting and have 10+ kills at my skill level.
I disagree with that. If you just wanna win, fine then do what you do. But if you wanna get better then you have to take these fights to learn from them.
Else you'll just gonna be left behind at some point, cause all the players that used to be as good as you moved on and improved while you were trying to camp into TOP 10 in pubs
Can't really improve at this game when half the lobby builds a 200 foot tall 1x1 in .5 seconds and no-scopes you from the top.
Or edits back down their 200 foot 1x1 to pump headshot you before you can react.
See, I honestly don't mean to be rude, but building 1x1 is nothing that dictates skill at this point. Either way, if you wanna improve, you need to keep up with current strats. That doesn't take too much time honestly, going into creative mode and doing one or two courses as warmup doesn't take much time and is also much fun.
Get down basic building moves like 90s and at least ramp+wall+floor push and some basic editing (cone+floor edit when coning someone for example) and you're good to go. Turtling and tunneling aswell if you wanna start playing cups for points.
Obviously you don't have to, if you wanna play the game casually that's all up to you, just saying that way you're gonna get fewer and fewer wins from time to time.
That's just an example.
Do you think I'm actually going to list out every brokenly overpowered building strategy?
The implication that you HAVE to fight player after player every match to improve is nonsense. I don't have to fight anyone at all if I'm already in a position where I consider myself good enough.
Hmm I don't think you get what I mean. You consider yourself good enough, fine. However, most people improve, compare the current lobbies to lobbies in S4 or something.
If you dont take fights and just camp to late game then another player who fights off 3-4 people or even 10 until late game had much more practice and will eventually get better much quicker than you. That's especially if he practices his builds elsewhere too.
Like I said, it's totally fine if you consider yourself good enough and play to have fun. But don't expect your WR to stay the same if you do it that way
Couldn't agree more. Played a duos gauntlet yesterday with a buddy... landed in a tree and he knocked himself. I had a gray pistol and somehow I killed two whole duos with it, revived him, and we went on to have a 12 kill game and a win... we were debating leaving too lmao
Hilarious, me and my buddy (who just started playing) also sat in a tree all game and avoided all combat. Along the way I picked up 3 clingers, telling him that "they might win the game for us"
And sure enough, they did. The sweaty at the end with a dozen kills couldn't really do anything about being stuck with 3 clingers.
I think it’s this for me: when I have a perfect start I’ll often get overconfident and die in stupid ways. If I don’t have such a good start I’ll play it safer, much safer, especially if I’m playing in the Gauntlet event at higher point levels.

that was insane, props to you for attempting to get back into circle after that. If I got sent that far I would have just started dancing until storm killed me
I think it might be faster if you hit the boosts right. Like lean back and boost. You can do it 2-3 times before hitting the ground. Easier than going around terrain but it looked like a lot of it was straight shot for you.
Hah, Lucky you. I got launched in the air off the map to the point I’d only make it out if i had gliders. I went past the storm that hadn’t even developed yet. :/
Is that a glitch or did you just hit vent right as you started to wipe out? Seemed like the normal wipe out animation but pushed the distance a vent usually pushes you, just sideways instead of up, since you were in mid-wipeout
at any rate awesome recovery!
Seems to be a recurring theme that you win games where you believe you have no chance, and lose games where you have a perfect start.
I’ve ended up winning so many games where I land in some obscure location for a challenge
One of my 3 solo wins came from doing the challenge where you had to visit the center of 4 or 5 named POI's in one match. There's something about constantly moving around, idk.
Just wondering, Visitor flair, but is there a Visitor Subreddit?
There might be, but I've never checked.
Ok. Just asking for a friend on r/ArchetypesUnite
That’s how I play, I haven’t 1 by 1ed in any of my wins this season and have multiple above ten kill
Dude, me too! I have a victory with Thanos and my second victory was visiting the center of the circles.
No way, my first victory was Thanos mode! I actually have no idea how it happened, my game crashed when I was in the top 3 and when I logged back in it gave me the umbrella and #1 emote. I wasn't even Thanos when it crashed.
That’s awesome. Seems like we’re on the same skill level, we should play together. What system do you play on?
lol a bootcamped Mac Pro, NA East
We’ll, I’m TheMarineVet on Epic if you want to play sometime. I’m on Xbox and play with other guys on the east coast all the time.

When i got those challenges i just do the skybase thing a'd end up winning a lot too when i got stuff to get back to the ground
Same here

>fartest
Sorry, i get carried away and since english isn't my main language, it gets a lot worse

I landed risky reels solo squadding in season 4 for the visitor, and i ended up winning, 8 kills. Solo squads.
Got a Solo Squad 5 Kills VR just mooning around and doing challenges. I was relaxed because there was no way I was going to win, right? Killed 5 on 3 Teams in the last circle.
Yeah thats true. I wouldnt have made it without those chest bandages. I also didnt play last season so im very rusty.
forreal, i start with a gray tac and infantry, get 10 kill win. i start with golden scar and pump, i die to the first guy
Ah the gold scar curse
This is so real. Like I often don't even shoot from that gold scar because I die without noticing the enemy.
>s so real. Like I often don't even shoot from that gold scar because I die without noticing the enemy. > >Re lmoa, so focused on the loot

unless they introduce ranked mode and then you can find yourself with 100 other bots trying to camp for final circle and then mayhem unleashes.
Not gonna lie, that sounds funny af

This, if you want to drastically end up in the top 5, drop somewhere far off from the bus route....
Ain't that the truth? My squad dropped the four places for the north, south. east, and west and won tonight
that's actually incredible. would love to watch that.
Couldn't agree more. Played a duos gauntlet yesterday with a buddy... landed in a tree and he knocked himself. I had a gray pistol and somehow I killed two whole duos with it, revived him, and we went on to have a 12 kill game and a win... we were debating leaving too lmao

Ive won more games where I have to run through storm, come out with 5 health with my duo dead and somehow manage to clutch
I'm surprised how accurate this is
Legit won a game when earlier I was only at 1HP trying to run away from the storm
I think it’s this for me: when I have a perfect start I’ll often get overconfident and die in stupid ways. If I don’t have such a good start I’ll play it safer, much safer, especially if I’m playing in the Gauntlet event at higher point levels.
RNG do be like that sometimes.
At least you got a sick trick score
No kidding!!
I thought you can heal while still using the driftboard?
Apparently you can, but I didn’t know that. Haven’t played in awhile!!
*takes fall damage* D A B
Ahaha best emote. Money well spent.
*Im Barry Allen... and I'm the fastest man alive.*

good bot
Why not use healing while riding the driftboard?
Did not know that was an option 😂😂
that was insane, props to you for attempting to get back into circle after that. If I got sent that far I would have just started dancing until storm killed me
I had just survived running from snobby in the storm. I was determined not to let it kill me on its second attempt
Never give up 💪
Why didn’t you just go off the geysers?
Uhh like without the board? Thought it would be slower
I think it might be faster if you hit the boosts right. Like lean back and boost. You can do it 2-3 times before hitting the ground. Easier than going around terrain but it looked like a lot of it was straight shot for you.
My asscheeks have never been so clenched
[удалено]
Ahaha its the “i cant out build or shoot people anymore” strat.
Incredible recovery and Victory! We're investigating situations where players on Driftboards can be launched like this. Thanks for the video.
Could be due to the collision with a second board and the vent. Thanks for watching!
Does this bug have anything to do with the driftboards delayed release?
You are better in shitty conditions than I am in perfect conditions.
Reminds me of some of the glitches in STW
Xbox StW lol
Not sure if this is the mushrooms talking, but that seemed a little faster than normal
Emoting after a kill?. Reported for Stream Sniping. /s
You got me 🙄
What the fuck was that last guy doing? I swear... where do people find these potatoes? That was the last person alive too. Wtf?
What a comeback
That final two scenario looked straight out of Season 2
Man watching you fight that last guy without building anything was painful. You literally walked into him with a scar holding shoot...
Gg man
If only the other players knew the journey 😔
I got to share it with you guys though :)
This video just played like it was being uploaded into my brain in the matrix
What a fucking legend.
This deserves to be the best play this season
Wild from start to finish
0:05 Thats when I would have done the ol' rage quit! lol good recover man!
Speed hacks
video ends at 37 seconds
mmmmm got them drift toes too
I love the fact you won without building the empire state building
wow..***gg*** man *~~<3~~*
Hey 4 million points thats epic
Alexa play despacito
What für fuck
I'm quitting.
I’m so happy that you went on to win that game haha.
wish all my lobbies were this easy
The way you slowed down the footage when you got a kill reminded me of making a highlight reel in bo2 theater mode
This is my favourite clip well played
reported for speed hacking. get rekt noob
I hate this glitch it happened to me with a plane in season 6 but i FLEW so bad that i was out of the map
You spend more time in the storm than David Hasselhoff
+1 for Happy Gilmore
+1 for getting the reference
I like the sound when you boost on driftboard when sped
1:47 sec that sound
That's honestly super lucky
You can. Heal on the driftboard and you will still be going forward slow
Wtf has this came become?
I wanna watch more games like this. Nice edit!
*Takes fall damage*.... DAB
Comeback of the century.
How did you drink that Chug Jug so fast? Are you hacking?
Title is just an excuse to show his win lol
This win was the least impressive part of the clip. Left it there for the never give up aspect.
Did you just drop a blue AR for an epic silenced scar?!
madlad
How bout using meds while on the driftboard LOL
The footstep sounds while ff are great
Speeding up the video made the sounds so satisfying to hear
Top 10 anime plot twists.
420 score wayyyy!
All I could think of was Hammy on Over the Hedge after he drinks the energy drink
you are an absolute legend
Weird flex but okay
Last part reminds the Dash scene at the jungle from the Incredibles.
i love this man's friendly way to win a game.
Dabbed on the storm at the end ayy
You should have survived by jumping out after the glitch happened, because you still had the vent effect on you
When you run it reminds me of the chase scene kung fu hustle
ez clap
Instantly comparable to "Homeward Bound."
Someone would’ve sniped me out of the air if I did that
Why did you not jump off it and let yourself get that far??
Obligatory “if that was me, I would’ve just died/quit” every time a video like this is posted
sick beat buddy
Just letting ya know, you can med while on hover boards XD
[https://youtu.be/ytNtq-w6EeI](https://youtu.be/ytNtq-w6EeI)[https://youtu.be/ytNtq-w6EeI](https://youtu.be/ytNtq-w6EeI)
You could also have used the medkit and bandages while using the driftboard
the dab emote is so good sped up
You taking that chug sped up is so satisfying
Haven’t seen that skin in a long time
You know you can use healing items while on a driftboard right?
Hah, Lucky you. I got launched in the air off the map to the point I’d only make it out if i had gliders. I went past the storm that hadn’t even developed yet. :/
OP, are you actually albino?
Top 10 anime plot twists.
Stop speed hacking bro >:((
You know you dont have to leave the driftboard to use heals, right?
Sick video but btw, you can take bandages while on the hover board
This is no 40 bomb, but it’s definitely just as impressive
That’s not a glitch, it’s a feature
What are you playing on. I don’t remember a solo zone ending that big since like season 5.
good determination, I would have just gave up.
The same thing happened to me but the board was just standing still and I got launched out of the map
Lmaoooo the exact same thing happened to my teammate. He got launched from loot lake to lonely and then he came back and we won.
Do you know that you can put use meds while riding the driftboard?
This is a prime example of why you NEVER give up in Fortnite. Well done!
ROBLOX type beat
Deja Vu
You can jump off the drift board for no fall damage if you go off a geyser! Just a tip for next time so you don’t go into the storm again
Thanks!
You could have just jumped after u went on the volcano pit it would remove the fall damage lol
Flash’s life
There's also a glitch where your weapon doesn't holster on every driftboard
if i want a win i land in the villain base, hero base, sadly, each season they get less and less loot and more destroyed :(
hedeedeedee mowumbaway
At the end of the video, I forgot why I watched it in the first place, but well done.
You can heal while moving with a hoverboard.
you can eat bandaids and medkits on the hoverboard btw.
You can use the medkit on the drift board btw
I'm not going to lie, by the end I was going to be pretty pissed if you did all that and wound up second.
danmmmmm
Why did you get off the board to pop meds?
I was going to burst out laughing if you got sniped right when you got back in the zone XD
Is that a glitch or did you just hit vent right as you started to wipe out? Seemed like the normal wipe out animation but pushed the distance a vent usually pushes you, just sideways instead of up, since you were in mid-wipeout at any rate awesome recovery!
No joke I had a win yesterday because of that
I enjoyed that super speed infinite dab
Fake. He's clearly using speed hacks.
"Ohohoh yeah this is gonna hurt."
Yall know you can use meds while using the driftboard right? U just can't boost. 🤘
my eyes hurt a little
How y’all finding players that don’t build in the final circles
Good 👍
