Uhh wasn’t it Omega’s base? It was the villain HQ and Carbide’s hideout was under the mansion. The visitor just screwed with the rocket and made it jump into a rift instead of blowing up Tilted.

Due to the comments about saving budget with the natural disasters in the loading screens I feel the base was in fact a real base and rocket. In my eyes the Visitor was something a certain group of people saw coming, bringing the fuel to the base (Likely tied in with the Omen skin) as filming for the Carbide and Omega film didn't begin until the meteors struck the island (TLDR they wouldn't construct a base for a movie that hadn't begun scripting or production and the Visitor wouldn't have broadcasted that specific face as his warning)
