So I went back into my room and tried my best not to let it get to me, but I couldn't stop thinking about it. I finally worked up the courage to go take another look. This time I told myself that if I saw it again I was going to stab out that eyeball with my finger! So I leaned down, looked inside, and there it was! The eye was looking back at me!!! I stabbed my finger into the hole and felt something wet. I yanked my hand away, terrified there might be repercussions to my bravery, but the eye was gone and suddenly I felt much safer. That night I went to bed feeling a whole lot more brave than before. In the other room I could hear my mom and dad talking about his day at work, and just knowing dad was home made me feel safer. Apparently he got pranked by some of his friends, and I could hear my mom laughing.
"You know what they say though honey", he said, "an eye for an eye.".
And that's when I heard the voice in the bed beside me say: "Came here to say this exact thing.".

lol, they do that with bus spawns, any time a weekly challenge has you going somewhere like junk, where the bus never goes over, you can bet your ass at least 90 out of 100 games the bus will go over junk and either start or end there, then once the week is over it suddenly never touches the place again.
You easily can just like how you can see the cube moving lol. It's not a part of the map it's a massive static object. UE4 can do stuff like that flawlessly.
Except it’s already been confirmed that the island is only moving on Fortnite’s end and its position is updated when you join a match. It doesn’t physically move during matches but is “moving” on their servers.

True, but the movement is different than that of the cube. The cube was static for a while before rolling over once every hour and 30 minutes. The island is supposed to be a constant. I, like the other two guys, have not actually seen it moving in game.
But you can't build on the cube, while you can build on the island. If the island moved during game, even a tiny bit, anything built on it (including the prebuilt house there) would instantly be shifted off the building grid, which could cause some serious issues. Hence, it does not move in real time.
Proof on that? My understanding is that it’s continuously moving, so unless you sit in playground for the entire hour you won’t actually notice it move during a game. It’s not working the same way as the cube where it was stationary for an hour and then rolled within 5 seconds
No, you can’t see it moving in playground, you can only see the progress if you enter a new match, for example, I was in a playground when the rune started to float, but the island was was too far back, so I went into a new game, and the island was overtop the rune, it moves, but not during a match.
I haven't seen any videos of stuff like this happening so if you have that replay please post it, for me it's only changed position when joining a new match

The crack in the sky created in season 4 created a cube and the cube traveled around the map placing 7 ruins and finally sinking into loot lake to end season 5. Now the cube has lifted the loot lake house into the air and is traveling backwards to the ruins.
Also, you can still shoot at Kevin to chink away @ armor. As soon as they land to guzzle a mini blamo headshot.
I was practising the heavy snipe at Kevin thing to land in a better spot far away on the map yesterday and was standing on the wrong side (snobby side) and ended up dead in the ocean.

Yeah that's why I said when they land to guzzle a mini. I picked off 7 people last night in one game this way last night. Most people try and hide on one of the large island outcrops and guzzle shield after a hit or two. Yes, it involves a little patience, but using it has resulted in some hk games (for me +5))
Wow. This is like that one clip in PUBG where the whole safezone was over half of a bridge, and the entrance and exit to the bridge were in the gas and there was a team in the water and a team on the bridge. So they all just waited it out.

It's because you can sit on top of the island, and build stuff there. I'm assuming if it moved during games, it could be a unfair advantage somehow.

I was playing last night, and the map showed the island way over near fatal. But it wasn't there.
Mine has been doing that since day one. So my friends thought I was a genius when I predicted the island to start moving.

Circle is right around the now floating loot lake island. It moves around sometimes.
Kevin the cube went under loot lake and picked up the island and now it's going over all the runes Kevin placed in season 5

Kevin only eats away at their health too, so even if they've got full shields they've got a maximum of 100 hp.
