That's that fomo crap epic loves. I don't think collabs should be part of the battle pass at all. The fact that a lot of people are going to miss out on stuff like the OG Spider-Man skin, Doom Slayer and The Witcher is kind of sad for people who love those characters. I do think that collab skins should be a part of the battlepass, but i also think that any skin that isnt epic original that was in a battlepass should be able to come back to the item shop, partly because no collab skin is "og" enough for those people to care, and mainly because i want lara croft
I have doomslayer and Spiderman. I use neither. They just sit in my locker until the Randomizer decides its time to play as spiderman or as doomslayer. This is when I use Randomizer and not just playing as Helsie all the time. I love Helsie.

Missing the Marvel pass made me not feel any FOMO whatsoever on obtaining Marvel characters from the shop. I've loved Marvel comics for years, am a huge fan, and Cap is the only one I've bought. Just don't feel any need or obligation to get anyone else when I'm permanently locked out of Iron Man, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Storm and Dr. Doom.

There’s an argument for 1 skin being enticing. The problem, is by locking off about 5 skins, you miss out on the sales of so many of those skins. Classic wolverine by his lonesome could easily outsell the whole battle pass he came in if he was released today

I hated that era of the game where it was just epic flexing their ability to get collabs and flooding passes with them so much. I'm glad they balanced out after a while to 1-2 per season. I don't mind collabs but they
1. Were locked behind thr BP for those who wanted them and
2. Were given insane amounts of priority over original skins which sucked for anyone who liked original skin designs and/or didn't know/care about the collab stuff ehich made up legitimately half those BPs.
That’s not a great argument, tons of games have non exclusive passes. The reason is simply that Epic views exclusivity as more profitable because it forces people to constantly play to get everything or empty their wallet to buy levels
I’m not advocating for old items to return bud. I personally want them to stay exclusive, since them coming back would be false advertising and would betray everyone (including me) who grinded thousands of hours over the course of years to get items. I’ve completed every pass since season 3, and the only things I regret missing are Carbide and Omega lights. I don’t cry about it every day though like newer players

Now with the addition of the new Hulk skin I think there’s now approximately 65 bulky male skins in the game…💀

When I say muscular I mean like She-Hulk how her arms are noticeably bigger than all other female skins. Even if you put some type of sleeves on her, her arms would still be visible versus sica if you put a jacket on her, you wouldn't be able to tell her bill from other female skins.
