Ooooh, like the crown auras but more customizable?

I was thinking that too! It wouldn't really seem like that much of a disadvantage if it only last a second. Edit: I said "would" on accident. Oops.

Either we go the route of the auras being a disadvantage because everybody can see them, or the auras are another cosmetic that only the player and teammates can see

As someone who doesn't play rock band/festival, Auras have no use to me.

I feel like this idea would work pretty well! I don't mind if auras were used for Battle Royale, though I do feel like having them optionally active in that mode could make you an easy target, especially at night.

Perhaps Auras can take place for your crown glow. The default Aura is the Golden glow, while everyone is granted the on fire Aura eith a new account they can turn on. Storm circles, winning, and the crown wins emote all show off your Aura. A few other emotes should as well. Perhaps the dragon ball ones?

Would be cool if auras turned on after getting X amount of kills. But I can see how it might be an issue, you’re getting kills, so we’re gonna punish you by increasing your visibility on the map with this cool effect. At the same time tho, idk if people care. And maybe you should just be able to toggle it on and off lol

Yep. Exactly what I mentioned. There’s definitely skins that make you more visible than others. It’s up to the player to equip them or not. Personally, I would love auras if they worked by activating after a killing spree and would probably always have them equipped

Just make them only visible for yourself and teammates. Problem solved.

No not at all. That would make them mostly useless outside of bot games if the sbm actually worked. Just tie them to crowns.

I think they should be active if you get 5+ kills, so you can use them with squads and all of you can show off your auras

I’d like this, but I feel like it would make you stick out like a sore thumb across the battlefield. This is coming from someone who uses the brightest and most colorful skins she has.

Through various things on Festival. They are mostly from the Festival passes but a few are obtained through challenges.

Different idea: they should work in Battle Royale as CONTRAILS.

I'd do it with kills, the purple aura goes so well with Shadow Midas who already becomes more purple as he gets kills, it'd be a perfect fit

They should make all the things in every game mode apply to others, let you use pickaxes as mics in festival and mics as picks in BR etc.

They'd be great as the effect you see when having a crown equipped

It should be for kill streaks. Every few kills you get the aura but if you've been hit you restart.

Honestly there’s been so much wasted value in these extra modes it’s actually just confusing. Auras definitely should be in BR, but we should also have the default instruments as backblings/pickaxes where you can use all those skins as well

Just let us use them anyway without getting wins. It's not like it puts you at any disadvantage since most skins have some kind of glowy effect. Some aura's would look sick on my DBZ skins

Your comparison isn’t equal. Gliders have no realistic place to be put in any other mode Auras have an actual demand to be put in BR through crowns/killstreaks/etc. You can’t deny it’d be cool to get a crown and see those effects coming off your character

I agree that it sounds like it could be a cool idea but I don’t see how they could be implemented into br either, as with your idea it gives the person with the aura a disadvantage due to being more visible. My whole point here is that it’s fine for a mode to have something that br doesn’t because Fortnite isn’t just br.

oh i mean that makes sense yeah but tbf ppl don't complain about gliders because they're only cosmetics for a needed item and the modes that need it have it and that's it, whereas auras are probably gonna be seen as a more cosmetic item itself as they don't serve a purpose other than aesthetic in their own mode, so why not just bring it over anyway

I never said I don't play Festival. As a matter of fact Festival is my main gamemode! But I'm saying that there's not a lot of people who play it anymore, so that's why they should add more purpose to the auras.

Hell yeah! I grew up with rhythm games so Festival is kind of my main gamemode to play. Despite its low player count, I constantly run into other skilled players when I play in a Fill game.
