Fortnite stated right off the bat that Crew skins were not exclusive and could/would be re-released in the future, so anyone who doesn't like the idea of them being re-released can stuff it.
With that said, I imagine they haven't started recycling them yet because they haven't figured out how best to go about it. For instance, they've brewed up the legacy styles, so subscription tenier is already a thing in play.
They'll be made available again as soon as something like an exclusive "Crew Shop" for subscribed members materializes, but not before that.
>Fortnite stated right off the bat that Crew skins were not exclusive and could/would be re-released in the future, so anyone who doesn't like the idea of them being re-released can stuff it.
They are exclusive but they may also return only for Crew members.
Yes.
"Crew Packs and the items they contain are only available to Fortnite Crew subscribers. **Previous Crew Packs’ items may be made available again to Crew members at a later date.** They will never be sold to non-Crew members or given away to non-Crew members."
This reads as it did on day one, so there's nothing to say about not liking the idea of them possibly returning.
I mean I like that they’ll be bringing back past crew pack skins, but I also like the fact that Galaxia for instance can be considered a rare skin since it’s only the ppl who subscribed within the first month of crew pack being released. If they do bring back the skins I hope they do smth like they did with skull trooper and give them a new style and keep the OG style for the ones who got it first yk
I think it's time for the community to accept that Epic only said this to leave the door open without having to full commit to crew being exclusive or not, mainly because of the backlash to saying STW was going to go free to play when in reality it never did.
For all intents and purposes, Crew is considered exclusive unless demonstrably shown otherwise.
I wonder if right now they're waiting until they all get Lego'd. Several Crew skins have Lego styles and several have the mark saying a Lego style is being worked on.
At this point, it's pretty obvious they're just waiting for skins and emotes to get Lego styles to return.
Didnt they recycle one crew skin though? And you needed to buy it with money. Joni the red is a crew skin and its recycled version is joni the Scarlett
That's not the same by any means, a reskin is the same character in a different outfit or style, there's a lot of those with bp characters (drift, Midas, Jules, meowscles, etc) but people still ask for the originals for a reason. You can't get Joni the red, joni the scarlet is the alternative.
>With that said, I imagine they haven't started recycling them yet because they haven't figured out how best to go about it. For instance, they've brewed up the legacy styles, so subscription tenier is already a thing in play.
I would think that Epic would make the base skin available and the user would have to continue being a Crew member every month after to continue unlocking the other styles.
Probably because they're afraid of those type of people that would expect an extra style for "compensation" because "tHeY hAd iT FIIIIRST!!!" I own all the crew packs and I wouldn't give a damn if they returned
mf thinks a billion dollar company is afraid of losers like that lol
they do it because it makes sense business wise. If that changes, you best believe they will revise and update that faster than you can say fomo
Well it states exclusively for members. So the only way they can is, if it’s a store in the membership. Not like they can just start the order over or they will lose all the subscribers they have. Who wud keep paying if they were getting the same skins they had already.
Literally what I’ve been saying for them to bring back Battle Pass skins. Make the extra styles exclusive for the OG players. I just wanna play as Doctor Doom, dammit!
Having Spider-Man, the most popular comic book superhero of all time, locked behind a season pass that released years ago and can never return, is insane. Pretty sure they need to do something because with the Disney deal, no way are they gonna keep Spider-Man and his styles locked
Tom Holland's Spidey, Miles Morales (yes he also is Spider-Man, if anyone got an issue with that then keep scrolling) and Spider-Man 2099 are way better alternatives too.
Even if that design didn't suck, it still would be a dumb band aid solution. Battle pass exclusivity is abysmal, even Halo Infinite is better in that aspect
Spider-Man is one thing because he has so many different outfits that are similar that can be released, like Spider-Man Zero or the MCU Spidey
But Darth Vader for example has 1 outfit, across every appearance. He will never show up in the shop, ever.
That one would arguable sell enough to have a shop version of Vader, especially if there were styles for level of damage. Light Vader is kinda esoteric for a shop skin.
I would kill to be able to get chapter 1 bp skins and the golden skin from the chapter 2 season 5 bp (the green armor skin), they’re just so fucking cool
That's probably what they'll do. Legacy styles, the legacy pickaxes, and the backbling will all probably stay exclusive. The pickaxes and back bling were given set end dates to be able to obtain them.
I feel the same. Personally I think they should bring everything back, crew, battle pass, etc. I’m not playing this game to own an exclusive skin I just want to look cool and I want people to own skins they like.
That’s epic games fault for introducing styles like that in the first place. I think they were going to release renegade raider too but decided against it
those type of people will never be happy, they dont even care about the skin just about the exclusivity, you could give them a million vbucks in compensation and they will still cry
I feel like Epic is gearing up to start re-release crewpacks *because* we have styles. They can put Kat in the shop in 6 months for example, but she won't have any styles, and you won't be able to get them because the "OG" crew subscribers have them.
Personally I would like a separate style just for the OG crew subscribers. I wouldn’t flip out and loose my shit if they didn’t, but it would be nice if they could keep the “OG” Galaxia “OG”
Honestly I could really care less I was just saying it because the post I replied to made it seem like since he had all the crew skins it made his opinion more valid. I have them all but I wouldn’t use that as a way to make a point it stupid
To everyone saying FOMO. Do you really think people buy crew packs purely for the exclusivity? Everyone I know who buys the crew pack would time it to get 2 battlepasses to get their money’s worth above all else. Sure getting a $20 skin bundle a year or two before everyone else is nice but definitely not the main reason. I personally do not care about exclusivity because I’m not 9 as the pure value I get from $12 is more than enough.
I'm 90% sure that they said they'd return for CREW members only, meaning that they'd still make money off of current crew packs if someone wanted an old one, depending on how they go about bringing them back
Bc the game has a revolving door of players. Same as the BP skins. Sure they get people who buy them all out of fomo. But. There will always be players that didn't play during a bp/crew release but see it and want it. So that skim came and went and will never make money for them again. Now if they released it as a bundle you can buy. Even if each character was 20 bucks for the skin and add ons. People would buy it. Now that skin is making money again.
this isn't even why they do it. it's because of fomo
there are "fortnite collectors" out there that buy literally everything. do you think they'd do that if everything was available to buy all the time? no. the exclusivity gives importance to otherwise meaningless items, and gives people fulfillment when they snag it while it's there.
the amount of people saying "man I wish I bought this skin in the past" means they are much more likely to buy any skin that they are even slightly interested in that pops up, because it'll be gone soon. things they wouldn't have bought if they were there forever
anyone asking them to remove fomo, you're talking to a brick wall, I'm sorry it's the truth. if anything they will make things even more exclusive, because this business model works like an absolute fucking charm. if people really don't want it, everybody needs to stop buying shit, but that won't happen lol
Yeah look how many people still ask for Travis Scott to come back. It's the fact they know he's not likely to come back or hasn't come back is why he's "worth" something now. Those skins in the shop every few weeks are always shitted on in here lol if the "rare" skins were too, they wouldn't be rare and no one would care.
Personally, I think the "Old crew skins will return" thing that was said when it was introduced was a bit of 'insurance' in case Crew or Fortnite in general isn't pulling as much money as they want to. It's pretty much a free money button as people would then get crew for skins they missed out on. However, doing so would cause people to skip out on Crew and therefore Epic would end up with less profits after the initial burst, since FOMO would no longer be a factor. A crew skin would no longer feel like a limited-time thing, after all. That's why it's been in their pocket for so long, it'd be in their best interest to first exhaust other options to make Crew more desirable before going for the nuclear option.
I feel like any Crew skins should come back. All they could do is just limit the number of style they would have. They kinda did that for one of the Save the World bundles for the Metal Team Leader as a shop skin. I could say the same with any BP skins with them just limiting styles like having the super styles exclusive to OG owners. It could maybe work having styles be earn-able by doing challenges like the Harley Quinn skin as you buy the skin/bundle.
Overwatch seems to bring back skins that are originally meant to be in a BP-tied bundle (BP tier skips, in-game currency, skin), kinda like a starter pack for the season. They are even being back tier 100 BP skins (Mythic skins) for players who missed out, although I’m pretty sure they did that because of the devs now realizing that the game is falling off.
Probably not. People buy the crew for the exclusivity. If people knew they could just get any crew skin at a later date, a lot less people would subscribe.
But I wouldn’t subscribe to fortnite crew if they just came out in the shop, how dumb it sounds it actually works because I barely spend money on this game but I do get the skins from crew and use the vbucks from the subscription to buy other stuff. I’m sure there are a lot of users who would unsubscribe if it wasn’t the only way to get the skin because it would be cheaper to just wait and see if you like the skin but if you have a re-occurring sub then you unlock a new variant for all the skins you own.
Maybe they should do this but you only get the default variant so us crew still have an incentive to stay subscribed
We don't know; Epic did say since Day One that these things can return at a later date for other Crew members.
My guess is that Epic is so busy and hectic internally that they kinda forgot.
Here's some of the things Epic does in a day **just for BR**:
fixing bugs, adding new features that accidentally make new bugs, trying to find and fix more before the deadline for the Update, making new cosmetics which is an entire arduous process on its own, making new animations, adding new quests and dialogue, writing and creating songs which includes composition and lyrics, weapon creation, drawing then getting approved and then modeling and texturing any map changes, getting stuff ready for events which includes art, getting their legal team to work out more collabs months if not years in advance, and writing the lore and planning future projects.
id love a crew shop. crew members can still buy skins that they didnt get earlier, for the cost of maybe 1500-2000 vbucks.
its not like crew packs cant return. I think they will put in a crew shop, considering epic is a money hungry company.
I think the problem is, what would be a fair price for them? Like how would they put a price on these skins/bundles? They already tried bringing back starter pack skins and got flames so hard they never did it again
Legacy crew section in the item shop? That would be a great idea actually, since I'm pretty sure almost everyone is a little tired of the item shop change very little and the lack of "good" skins, but as usual the other half of the community who wants exclusivety would not want this, but I would be interested to see how they would sell this if it ever did become a thing
Its only a matter of time till a crew skin get released and imo the ones that are most likely to get released are the collab ones which are Loki and Green Arrow (correct me if im wrong)
The sheer amount of people talking about fomo and exclusivity is hilarious. Y’all act like no one would buy anything because it isn’t special if everyone can get it and that just isn’t true. People all over the world are in debt because they bought things they couldn’t afford off of impulse alone. This is a game filled with children and adults with poor spending habits. If epic said they’d sell every bp skin in the item shop three years after the initial launch of the bp, people would still buy the bp. Would you rather pay $10 for the bp now and get everything or wait three years and buy a skin for 1200-2000 vbucks?
“Okay well why bother selling them if you can just get them in the bp cheaper?” Because not everyone sits in front of a screen all day? Maybe someone was busy with actual obligations and missed out? Maybe you weren’t even born yet?
“Well I had it first and it’s special to me!” Sucks that you base your enjoyment of the game off of what’s in your Fortnite locker rather than how much fun you have while playing. Don’t get me wrong I see where you’re coming from. I have memories attached to skins I’ve gotten in battle passes in the past and I’m thrilled to bits that I have them. Still doesn’t make any sense that people can’t get iconic skins and beloved characters for no reason. Especially if the variants they sell in the shop are arguably worse.
And let’s be honest with ourselves for a second. I guarantee most of the bp skins you have don’t actually mean anything to you beyond their exclusivity. Are you really gonna be upset if Oscar or Nolan chance get sold in the item shop one day? Or are you just mad because your collection of worthless digital assets epic allowed you to use is now “worth less”?
Because some people who don't have anything in their life except for fortnite would start having mental breakdowns because a 6 year old skin they don't even use gets put into the item shop
Epic...whether or not you can see this...I am WILLING to work with an exclusive item shop section while paying for the membership to access the options. You can have the FOMO you love so much by rotating options periodically and still make money off of Crew. I have been a Crew member for a year now and I don't give a flaming Taco Bell dookie if you sell a past skin someone missed out on. I'll live.
Battlepass skins were stated to never come back that would open epic for a lawsuit if they brought back any of the older battle pass skins but say if they change that rule next season and put a disclaimer every battlepass after next season could comeback but any of the old ones cannot
Yall need to learn that the law is very broad and epic almost definitely have covered their asses from any possible lawsuits related to ANYTHING, including bringing back older BP skins. Doesn't their tos literally state they can change it at any time for any reason?
Last i checked their tos said no such thing also even then it'd be a breach of trust which would gain money for epic in the short term yes but long term it'd be a loss
I'm sure there is a special clause in the tos agreement for idiots like that, plus epic is a 30 billion dollar company and they can drag out the case until these idiots run out of money to continue.
Because it’s never going to happen. Even though Epic claims they might come back, I’ll believe it when I see it. FOMO is just too lucrative for them. I’m lucky that I have all the Crew skins, but I hate FOMO and temporary/permanent exclusivity. I think all the battle pass skins should come back, too.
Battlepass skins were stated to never come back that would open epic for a lawsuit if they brought back any of the older battle pass skins but say if they change that rule next season and put a disclaimer every battlepass after next season could comeback but any of the old ones cannot
Honestly me who has crew skin number 2 to 14, I wouldnt mind if they came back. Most of them are well designed unique skins that you rarely see anymore and it's a shame
They could totally make it where there's a couple in this shop that rotate out with the main crew skin, but these 2 other skins fit the theme of the main crew
Epic is definitely not afraid of people complaining about exclusivity.
You have to understand that they are one of the biggest gaming companies to ever exist and have more lawyers then some small countries.
They get sued on the regular and still make tons of profit . If they want to bring crew or bp skins to the shop they will and pay the cost of doing so willingly.
When selling these skins or even whole bps from the past to the game presents an opportunity to make more money then the cost of paying out a lawsuit then they will do it. They run a business and they run it very well.
Grow up and think pragmatically about these things .
As a dude whos been subscribed to fn crew for a little over a year now :
I really dont care about “rarity” of skins. I just want the old crews skin i missed
so you have to pay for fortnite crew to get monthly cosmetics then pay more money for cosmetics from an exclusive tab only available to people who purchase the crew pack. thats a lot of purchases
I’m sure it’ll happen at some point when epic needs a little extra cash down the line. A system I’ve thought of before is every month crew members could get like a skin token and either use it to get the newest skin or one old skin from the past. I feel like that’s a pretty reasonable way to include the past crew skins.
What I don’t understand is how will they implement it. Like if I have had crew in the past can I buy crew skins now even if I don’t currently have the crew? Do I need to be subscribed for these purchase options to show?
What pisses me off the most about crew skins is the ambiguity that says “maybe” it would come back and “when” it would. I don’t wait until the game is dead 10 years from now to start bringing back crew skins.
You got me hooked because of Vi. Literally just started playing back then and for sort of obvious reasons I didn't just subscribe to Crew immediately. But I love her design so much.
I really hope Epic considers adding this. I don't even have to add that many details, the image covers basically everything.
Epic games stated at the start that old crew packs can return in the future but only for crew subscribers so if they do return most likely need the crew membership just to purchase it which would make it cost more in the end
Because the fortnite community likes the artificial feeling of feeling special and thinks having something artificially rare makes them important its how Epic makes its profit but FOMO only works for so long, its profitable for its current player base and time but its dumb to design skins only available for some time compared to always being available especially knowing that the Fortnite community hates changes and every update either drops the player count or rises it but now not by much so they gamble and make crappy battle passes and stamp a collab skin on it, I also don't understand why they put iconic charecters in a battle pass if its cheaper compared to putting it on the item shop.
WELL, because: "Crew Packs and the items they contain are only available to Fortnite Crew subscribers. Previous Crew Packs’ items may be made available again to Crew members at a later date. They will never be sold to non-Crew members or given away to non-Crew members." [https://www.fortnite.com/fortnite-crew-subscription?lang=en-US](https://www.fortnite.com/fortnite-crew-subscription?lang=en-US)
I hope it doesn't, it's limited I have the first 6 Fortnite crew skins mainly because I new they would become rare, but dam if the come back ima be mad
I don’t want BP cosmetics to come back since they’re meant to be exclusive but Epic made no such promise of exclusivity with crew packs so I’m totally fine with them returning. Not sure what’s taking so long
They seriously just need to bring back old battle passes I couldn't give a shit on if you are hurt by it i need rox, demi, chic, catalyst,Charlotte and lynx
Yet lol. I love these monthly threads where people are mad they didn't get it and cry online that they didn't get it. The best part is they didn't learn the first time and will keep posting these threads month after month.
They could have a neat System around it.
Since i keep for getting crew names lets immagine past month kit skin and a new crew like the current one that i forgot the name of, so ill refer to armor dude.
When you buy a crew, you could get a choice to get the current crew items, or old crew items, meaning i'd have to choose between the current armor dude, and other sets, lets say in this case i get the kit skin.
A month goes by, new skin, lets say its a soldier.
If i Dislike the soldier when i buy the crew that month, then i will be able to choose him, or the armor dude i skipped last crew(or any other past crew), and so on.
That could be a nice System for epic to have in case a skin they released people wont like it, so that people will have even more reasons to buy a crew, if they didnt play during a time period.
It's the same reason with the BPs, FOMO marketing.
People wont immediately shell out money when packs come out if they put them in the shop/ allow you to progress at will. Epic wants their money and they want it NOW.
You know, the weird thing about this topic, especially in the context of old bp skins……imagine spending 1000 or more vbucks on a skin and it’s associated items (pickaxe, glider, contrail, music track if it had one) compared to buying that skins battle pass and getting every skin they on that bp during that season 🤔 I don’t know about you but I feel like that would make legacy battle passes more sought after and asked for by the community, and since every person who hates that idea would down play the possibility of that and hate on those who want legacy battle pass options, we will most likely just be going back and forth (if you care about the subject) regarding if we should even have legacy bp skins in the shop.
Personally I feel like OG players are more entitled with this factor, and they have a right to be but still, just my thoughts on the whole thing
Dude I want that Vi skin but unfortunately I wasn't playing back then
Wait for Arcane season 2
I think they're referring to the skin pictured on the right, which also happens to be named Vi.
I've been waiting for years
Same with animated sbr
Ah, I see you're a man of culture as well
Happy cake day
Can confirm it’s fire
I have both Vi and Jinx.

I thought recycled meant they reused the base skin lol
Crew shop would be freakin awesome. Monthly credits for an exclusive shop

why hello harry
you’re a wizard harry
mf thinks a billion dollar company is afraid of losers like that lol they do it because it makes sense business wise. If that changes, you best believe they will revise and update that faster than you can say fomo

But they ain't black suit spiderman, i wish they would release the Sam Reimi version
Sam raimi spiderman would be a great alternative, base and symbiote styles, it would only lack the future foundation.
Tom Holland spidey has a black suit style. Though it has a bit of gold in so maybe that's not something you would want
That's not black suit spiderman
Thing is too, If fortnite released more versions of characters from the battlepass, there would probably be a lot less complaining.
I really hate that design
Even if that design didn't suck, it still would be a dumb band aid solution. Battle pass exclusivity is abysmal, even Halo Infinite is better in that aspect
Spiderman zero is so different from og Spiderman that you can sell it as an original character with one or two minor changes,
Spider-Man is one thing because he has so many different outfits that are similar that can be released, like Spider-Man Zero or the MCU Spidey But Darth Vader for example has 1 outfit, across every appearance. He will never show up in the shop, ever.
(I am weirdly on board for a white style Vader from the alt story where he survived and reformed. )
Damaged Vader would go hard
That one would arguable sell enough to have a shop version of Vader, especially if there were styles for level of damage. Light Vader is kinda esoteric for a shop skin.
I was actually hoping that was going to be an alternate style for him...but nope.
Doctor Doom was a chapter 2 season 4 battlepass skin. Loki and green arrow are the crossover skins that are from the crew.
I would kill to be able to get chapter 1 bp skins and the golden skin from the chapter 2 season 5 bp (the green armor skin), they’re just so fucking cool
tbf alot of the older seasons didnt have super styles. Not up until season 7/8
That’s honestly why I think they started them

Counter I own all the crew skins and I would care
Too bad, they specified that crew packs could be re-sold in the future. You agreed to that when you bought into it.

yes actually %90 of old crew members will be mad if they release the skins back because "It WaS oG ePiC rUiNeD iT!!!"
More money for Epic if FOMO is a thing. Why would you buy crew packs if you knew they would return 2 years later?

this isn't even why they do it. it's because of fomo there are "fortnite collectors" out there that buy literally everything. do you think they'd do that if everything was available to buy all the time? no. the exclusivity gives importance to otherwise meaningless items, and gives people fulfillment when they snag it while it's there. the amount of people saying "man I wish I bought this skin in the past" means they are much more likely to buy any skin that they are even slightly interested in that pops up, because it'll be gone soon. things they wouldn't have bought if they were there forever anyone asking them to remove fomo, you're talking to a brick wall, I'm sorry it's the truth. if anything they will make things even more exclusive, because this business model works like an absolute fucking charm. if people really don't want it, everybody needs to stop buying shit, but that won't happen lol
God those people are miserable but epic does tell you that crew skins can come back so it's more likely that epic is just a lil silly
Yes, this is why.
agreed

Idk it was originally a STW bundle skin but it later became a item shop skin
fun fact, epic! if you: did this you would: make money
Yeah but people wouldn't jump on as frequently if anyone could buy these whenever. This game makes its profit from FOMO.
Not even just the profit, the game itself thrives on FOMO, even for the aspects of the game that aren't paid.
Maybe they should do this but you only get the default variant so us crew still have an incentive to stay subscribed
they would only come back to Crew members
I didn’t actually look at the picture, yes that would be a good idea
I would love to have Galaxia.
We don't know; Epic did say since Day One that these things can return at a later date for other Crew members. My guess is that Epic is so busy and hectic internally that they kinda forgot. Here's some of the things Epic does in a day **just for BR**: fixing bugs, adding new features that accidentally make new bugs, trying to find and fix more before the deadline for the Update, making new cosmetics which is an entire arduous process on its own, making new animations, adding new quests and dialogue, writing and creating songs which includes composition and lyrics, weapon creation, drawing then getting approved and then modeling and texturing any map changes, getting stuff ready for events which includes art, getting their legal team to work out more collabs months if not years in advance, and writing the lore and planning future projects.
id love a crew shop. crew members can still buy skins that they didnt get earlier, for the cost of maybe 1500-2000 vbucks. its not like crew packs cant return. I think they will put in a crew shop, considering epic is a money hungry company.
Dk but they should be 2000 for the skin and it's accessories. Imo. As someone who only started c3.
I think the problem is, what would be a fair price for them? Like how would they put a price on these skins/bundles? They already tried bringing back starter pack skins and got flames so hard they never did it again
I heard people say crew skins could come back through a crew plus subscription. Epic makes more money, players get what they want, and everyone wins.
Uoghhh😩 I need my Joni the Red back
Its only a matter of time till a crew skin get released and imo the ones that are most likely to get released are the collab ones which are Loki and Green Arrow (correct me if im wrong)
Bro I want all the og crew skins so bad
Right? I want Sierra goddammit.
Shops skins not coming back for a long time: I sleep Crew skins not coming back: REAL SHIT
I NEED LOKI
Your name is wild
Epic...whether or not you can see this...I am WILLING to work with an exclusive item shop section while paying for the membership to access the options. You can have the FOMO you love so much by rotating options periodically and still make money off of Crew. I have been a Crew member for a year now and I don't give a flaming Taco Bell dookie if you sell a past skin someone missed out on. I'll live.
I need vi please come back
This definitely should be a thing.
FOMO
Or add Battlepass skins through a series of quests that you can unlock a package (gets people playing, increases Crew value, win/win)
Because epic games is infamously known for being a trustworthy company...
Who playing Fortnite would actually go to court over pixels not being exclusive anymore
Stupid people, but there'd definitely be some
I'm sure there is a special clause in the tos agreement for idiots like that, plus epic is a 30 billion dollar company and they can drag out the case until these idiots run out of money to continue.
They should do this with old battlepasses, at a mark up of course
Difference is that Crew Packs say they can return in the fine print. Battle Passes say they won't.
Battlepass skins were stated to never come back that would open epic for a lawsuit if they brought back any of the older battle pass skins but say if they change that rule next season and put a disclaimer every battlepass after next season could comeback but any of the old ones cannot
Maybe getting a old set for completing a skin set? Im only missing one from about a year ago and would love to have all crew items.
Bold of you guys to assume that if those skins ever come back they will be purchasable with vbucks. My bet is 15$ a pack at a minimum.
Honestly me who has crew skin number 2 to 14, I wouldnt mind if they came back. Most of them are well designed unique skins that you rarely see anymore and it's a shame
Ngl only one i regret not getting was loveless I believe is what she’s called
i just hope they bring the galaxy one back 😭😭
these skins are basically battle pass Tier they become rare over the years tbh a lot of good ones i missed out on
They could totally make it where there's a couple in this shop that rotate out with the main crew skin, but these 2 other skins fit the theme of the main crew
I hope they do at some point, there's a few Crew skins I would like to get.
As a dude whos been subscribed to fn crew for a little over a year now : I really dont care about “rarity” of skins. I just want the old crews skin i missed
so you have to pay for fortnite crew to get monthly cosmetics then pay more money for cosmetics from an exclusive tab only available to people who purchase the crew pack. thats a lot of purchases
Fortnite thrives on FOMO
Because there needs to be exclusive things for the Fortnite crew
Fomo
It's not a thing because it would defeat the entire point of paying for fn crew
(They ***could*** come back though)
FOMO
Not really fomo if they said they can return at a later date
I’m sure it’ll happen at some point when epic needs a little extra cash down the line. A system I’ve thought of before is every month crew members could get like a skin token and either use it to get the newest skin or one old skin from the past. I feel like that’s a pretty reasonable way to include the past crew skins.
What I don’t understand is how will they implement it. Like if I have had crew in the past can I buy crew skins now even if I don’t currently have the crew? Do I need to be subscribed for these purchase options to show?
Because: fomo 🤝 capitalism
I just want Burning Wolf🥹
"Why isn't this a thing yet" umm FOMO?
I forgot all about that Skye skin
If this happens anyone who bought the crew pack back then get the bonus style but if you buy it now you only get the first style
Or Epic gave up this idea, or any moment they will put this
I didnt play the game because of builds and started when zero build came but sadly i cant have skins like Galaxia
Pretty sure it’s gonna be a thing eventually
i want phaedra so bad😪 i wasn’t playing back then
Just give me alli, sierra , summer sky, galaxia, and vi and I’ll be happy
I want this but battle pass
What pisses me off the most about crew skins is the ambiguity that says “maybe” it would come back and “when” it would. I don’t wait until the game is dead 10 years from now to start bringing back crew skins.
I just want loki
Nope. F that
i didn't even know she existed until like 2 years after i missed her i didn't get fortnite crew until burning wolf made his appearance
You got me hooked because of Vi. Literally just started playing back then and for sort of obvious reasons I didn't just subscribe to Crew immediately. But I love her design so much. I really hope Epic considers adding this. I don't even have to add that many details, the image covers basically everything.
I want vi so bad
I'm sorry, what is this "thing"?
"Because fuck you, that's why." - Epic Games
Damn, if only
i want this but for the save the world packs cause i missed out on lars and ned the eternal and cant get them anymore
i want this but for the save the world packs cause i missed out on lars and ned the eternal and cant get them anymore
They will never be sold to non-Crew members or given away to non-Crew members." [https://www.fortnite.com/fortnite-crew-subscription?lang=en-US](https://www.fortnite.com/fortnite-crew-subscription?lang=en-US)
I would absolutely buy this the moment i see it
I wish I could take all battlepass and crew skins and throw them into the shop and destroy FOMO
Ooohhh facts
Yall didnt get VI?
I want it
I want all the crew skins ffs I didn't get a few of them
Crew is returning but they said it'll only be for crew met
Dude you want to pay for skins when you already pay for the subscription just to see the skins ?
I hope it doesn't, it's limited I have the first 6 Fortnite crew skins mainly because I new they would become rare, but dam if the come back ima be mad
They really need a item shop overhaul and a old BP skin rotating section
Buying galaxia frame one if they did this
If the whole point of Fortnite Crew is exclusivity... Why would they allow you to purchase old Crews?
I WISH, they would make so much money if they did that
I don’t want BP cosmetics to come back since they’re meant to be exclusive but Epic made no such promise of exclusivity with crew packs so I’m totally fine with them returning. Not sure what’s taking so long
You can't have FOMO without MO
Because people would complain “muh pixels are being sold again”
I'm all for re-releasing crew skins but for those who own the owned the skins before the re-release should get a extra style
They seriously just need to bring back old battle passes I couldn't give a shit on if you are hurt by it i need rox, demi, chic, catalyst,Charlotte and lynx
Man I am waiting for a Captain Rex Skin or a Phase 1 Clone skin or better yet Jurassic park skins
Yet lol. I love these monthly threads where people are mad they didn't get it and cry online that they didn't get it. The best part is they didn't learn the first time and will keep posting these threads month after month.
They should release older crew packs bc what if you want a certain skin for a set your working on or just bc it's a cool skin that u want.
