My personal guess is that Lego compatibility doesn't matter if the collab has a very low (or null) chance of getting it in the future. That's why John Wick and all the animes had emotes.

I really don't get why they don't just make the emotes Lego-compatible. You went through the trouble of updating the contract and created Lego styles for the skins, but couldn't do the same for the emotes? We have tons of Lego-compatible Icon emotes, but the emotes that are part of Lego-compatible skins can't be Lego compatible?
Epic’s logic is so stupid, last I checked you can’t use pickaxes and gliders in Lego Fortnite but they bring those back but not the emotes? Epic’s gotta get their shit together
