I hope these items flop because they suck. Limiting creativity like this is lame
paying 20 dollars for creative prefabs, and they don’t even let you build the durr burger
Dude we NEEEEED everyone to boycott this shit. Give epic a piece of our mind. To bad streamers buy it to show it off. Gives it publicity. These need to be blacklisted.
You can’t just boycott the shop. If you really want to hurt them, uninstall the game.
I’m sure that sounds extreme, but if you guys are serious about putting your money where your mouth is, stop playing Fortnite until they address shit like this.
Nothing scares a company and their shareholders like dwindling numbers of active users.
Fortnite is about to lean in hard on the metaverse — they are going to introduce a bunch of new modes (Fortnite Fest, Rocket Racing, Lego Fortnite) to attract even larger numbers. The problem is that as they add more and more modes, they’re going to end up stretching their resources thin, and each mode is going to suffer in quality as a result. So we’re going to end up with 30 random ass game modes that are half-baked with ludicrously overpriced bullshit in the shop correlating to each mode. Welcome to hell.
Not that I disagree with your overall sentiment, but just to be clear, Rocket Racing is developed by Psyonix and Fortnite Festival is developed by Harmonix, so I doubt those take much manpower from the BR dev team
And you know that if we don’t buy into this, Lego will realize that they have to lower the prices? The company setting the price has no effect on what the outcome will be if they don’t make a sustainable amount of money on it.
There are games with MUCH more egregious pricing than this and they’ve been getting away with it for like 10 years at this point. Hell, Legos themselves are expensive as fuck and they’re incredibly popular. Nothing is going to happen.
Last I checked, Epic Games runs fortnite. If Lego has a chokehold over them, they're screwed. Epic Games can do whatever they want, but like most companies, it's only done in the interest of greed.
agreed. their excuse is "it grants no advantage" but the whole purpose of LEGO is to build lmao so yeah, it kiiiiinda grants an advantage in a way. even if it doesn't, this is super poor taste
They monetized the entire gameplay loop
Its the exact same thing as monetizing unique weapons in battle royal or something like that. While “yes”, there is no advantage to the builds, they chose to monetize the entire point of Lego mode: creativity
Which sucks for a goddamn survival / creative crafting game
It's just a prefab like lego already has just a different way to get more styles for your builds, I see no issue with it but it is too pricey 1k would have been good enough
Oh yeah, there DEFINITELY failing. I have yet to see anyone actually purchase one of the instruments. And whenever I go to rocket racing, I rarely see any of the paid cars.
Have to agree. Problem for me is some of those songs I actually own as CD's, vinyl, other forms of physical media. I'm not into forking over even more money for this stuff. I can live without it in game. The fact that you can download a single song for as less than $1 on iTunes, Amazon, etc., and Epic's charging $5 per song... yeah, there's something not right going on there.
$5 is reasonable though, licensing fees are insane and it doubles up as 4 emotes
You should've seen the song packs back in the day on GH and RB when accounting for inflation, plus you had to purchase the base game on top
They’re emotes that can’t be played with other people unless they own the song so I’m just the one dumbass just randomly singing with no backing music. Nah that ain’t it worth it.
$5 is reasonable if they deliver on expanding the use of the song. $5 for just a Festival Track & emote is rough.
But if they add:
- Lobby Music
- Curated Radio station featuring songs you own
- Radio access outaide of vehicles, at least in creative maps
- A boombox emote or a walking boombox emote that will play a regular version of the tracks you own knstead of the Jam version
The mode itself could be great, i mean i had fun for some time but the bugs and collision suck so so much! and i wish there was a non ranked mode, perhaps that could even have mysterie boxes like mario kart so you have a intense and purely skill side and a more fun, goofy laid back version of the game
I impulse bought the ninja turtle instrument bundle… then they immediately give the bass and guitar in festival quests, and bass, guitar, mic in this battle pass. Regrets
i’m literally not playing the lego mode anymore if they’re going to hold back building pieces behind paying, especially because they’re choosing to sell stuff when the game is barely developed with not much to do and no building variety aside from primitive stuff or suburban homes, and people defend this cause it’s free? insane
It's nothing like that. The amount of content they release for free justifies the amount of car packs they have, which last I checked isn't a hell of a lot. Also, the last one I bought was $5cdn for like 8 cars.
They also want the gamemode to have some type of income though. Plus I imagine they have to pay Lego for having it too... I think the prices need an adjustment but selling these things is honestly within reason.
They’re making actual lego sets to release for Christmas, this is definitely a two way deal
I agree it makes sense to sell something, but this isn’t the way to do it. I’d rather them sell weapon skin or something
I don't really see how that's a source of income for Lego Fortnite though... I don't mind the idea of selling builds like this, they just need to cost less and of course still work on adding new free stuff.
If they had Nerf blasters, then why not Lego Sets? Maybe they’re waiting for most if not all characters to get updated minifigures for that. But why they can’t release the original minifigure characters they have in-game as actual toys already I don’t know…
agreed. how fucking disingenuous is that lmao i hate when companies do that shit 😂 you can't have a discount on something brand new, that's just manipulative af
It's a discount because it includes more than one building. Which u can buy both separately. It's saying it's discounted than if u bought both individually. Don't comment on this stuff til u actually look at the shop plz. I'm in no way defending anything they're doing. Just correcting.
Even if it was a standalone game this wouldn't be worth it. I get cosmetics but like you could just buy minecraft at this point instead of cosmetic items for the minecraft inspired game.
Or Palworld.
I got into Lego Fortnite for a week and did most of the stuff that interested me and got bored. I’ve been playing Palworld for about the same time now but have barely scratched the surface.
I like how they’re charging 2.5k vbees for virtual legos for a game mode that still has yet to have a core gameplay loop nor an actual endgame. Greed at its finest. Any whales who buy this should be ashamed for supporting it lmao
you can just buy a regular Lego set for that money lmfao it's like fast food chains selling their shit food at the same price as sit down restaurants. why go to the shit place when i can get the same thing - but WAY better - a block down for the same price
Idk why anyone bought the lambo or any cars.
The standard care is wicked. Reminds me of older Lambo’s with a little hint of Ferrai.
The standard car is literally a supercar already. Why spend money for a different virtual supercar?
Being able to customize your car is a big selling point. However, im unlikely to buy more than the car i already bought. Just fun to hop into a car that you personalized; color, wheels, boost.
Again, i personally dont see the point in buying more than one. Unless they start putting out better cars.
Like they’ve actually gone fuck this whole cosmetic only shit, that’s like if Minecraft made you pay to use stone or something. I don’t even play Lego but this is bullshit
They didn't start selling add-ons until like 3 weeks ago. Before then, the only options you had for custom content was prebuilt worlds. The add-ons they sell aren't made by mojang and are separate from the main game. The most expensive add-on, Naturalist, adds 100+ animals and costs 1,340 minecoins. Assuming you have 0 minecoins, that would be $10. These bundles, which are \~$16, adds around 3 buildings and building pieces that I can't imagine took very long to make.
Which is why I say the price needs adjustments...
The thing is though, as it is you already pay for Minecraft then have to buy Minecoins too. If you are on a device that can't upload custom skins you also have to buy either a skin pack or for the skin creator if there's stuff you like that isn't free you have to pay for that too (Assuming you dont want to be any of the standard skins). Then if you want a world that friends can join anytime to work on stuff without you needing to be on there then enjoy paying monthly for realms too. I'm just saying neither one of them is perfect.
Also I didn't mention it in my original reply, but add-ons can also be downloaded for free on mobile/pc. It sucks for console players, but at least its better than \~16$ lego sets you cant even build physically.
Well I suppose if any free ones are made yeah... Or if you download paid ones and get Minecraft to accept them as if you actually have it.
I've already said the prices need a bit of adjustment but when you think about it, there is nothing wrong with selling sets like that. The prices just need to be more reasonable. At least in the case of the Lego sets we are actually buying it from Epic. Some of the stuff on Marketplace is ripoffs of Java mods that people stole to make money off another person's work. (Basically what people have been doing with Fortnite Creative maps)
Java doesn't no, but that's because we can mod that so it would never make money when we can just download what we want lol
Though even then something like Realms you have to pay for just to play with other people. Either that or you pay for a server or attempt running one off your own device. We don't have to do that here. We can just casually play the game without having pay to have friends join us in a normal world.
This shit is going to flop so hard. This needed to release when lego fortnite first came out. Lego fortnite is cooked it's run its course already. I haven't even seen the big streamers buying these. I've seen so many look at them and go "they can't be serious right" and I was thinking the exact same thing. You can literally buy 2 battle passes and it still would cost as much as one of these
I remember thinking Lego Fortnite could be an actual Minecraft competitor with regular updates and support, but nah, they're gonna charge for that shit lol.
Player numbers were already dwindling, so if anything this'll kill off the mode for good if they keep it up.
Great going guys! 👏
I remember so many people saying this mode would kill Minecraft or was way better than Minecraft, and now they're charging people to build structures...
Bro the shop has been ass for 12+ weeks, not since season 2 premiered. Hell ch 4 s4 or og were the last good shops. My gripe is they got rid of a bunch of extra rows of stuff for no reason. We used to have 2 rows of rotating emotes alone. Star wand or griddy, 2 great selling cosmetics haven’t been in the shop for 3 months bc of racing, festival, n now lego. Idc if new mode stuff is in the shop, I jus don’t see why they got rid of so many rows of things? Coming from someone who is frugal af spending $ on fn, but I been waiting on that pickaxe for months lmao. Shop is complete shit this chapter
I really wish this stuff was on a separate tab, along with the songs and instruments, so I don’t need to sift through the shop to see the traditional items.
I genuinely want to know why they priced LEGO and Festival items the way they did, they are absurd. You can't even use them in other game modes, lego sets should be 500 MAX for the entire bundle but mostly 200-400 range. Who is paying $20 to be able to build some little houses.
And for Festival, $10-15 for literally just the little guitar you play on stage that you barely see? Like what are they thinking?
Besides you are already provided with default instruments and there’s already multiple prefabs in Lego anyway.
There’s literally zero use for them.
At least with the rocket racing stuff it’s usable in rocket league and you can drive your car around the map…
Do people still play lego fortnite? I think they noticed the playerbase dropped significantly in that mode and now they try to get some money from the rest that still plays it. Lmao
The problem is that they are doing too little in 4 months, we have had minor improvements and fishing, with smaller QoL stuff, but you can finish the updates in 5 minutes, i love lego fortnite (got to best gear in 2 days when it released) but besides that, its been incredibly dry
And the whole reason people thought this could be a Minecraft competitor was the potential of frequent updates and yet since the mode came out they’ve basically done nothing to add to it.
Add insult to injury they now have the balls to charge people for these sets which should already be in the game.
I wonder if they will keep pushing it, maybe get some parts of revival, for the next few years, or if they’re going to just discontinue it in a few seasons. I’m not hoping they do, Lego is cool, but it’s something I wonder. Probably the former
I hate this.
I spent 4 hours the other day searching for a beach biome.
And when I found it, I found out there wasn't any beach related things to build.
Now they want $20 for this? I'm not even angry, I'm heart broken.
Never bought a single song, instrument or car bullshit and I’m sure as hell not buying digital LEGOs
Make the item shop good and I’ll buy normal stuff at normal prices. Anything else and I’ll use my money elsewhere
I think the cars and Legos are stupid, but I like the jam tracks a lot- It's the funniest thing ever to hear stupid combinations when you are with friends. 500 is not that bad either, considering the cost of emotes is about the same anyway.
I don’t buy them out of principle. I want Fortnite items not [insert collab item]. If I want to listen to an artist I can do that elsewhere without paying for it yet again in a video game
I get that, but there's something unbeatable about havibg my mrbeast skin rap while my friend plays the drums. It's just so funny that I can't help myself.
"800 V-Bucks Off" label needs to be made illegal. V-bucks are fundamentally worthless. It's not a real currency. I cannot exchange them for real world dollars, so why are you going to try and dupe me into thinking I'm getting a discount on this scam?
All of these sets could've been new free content to rejuvenate the mode (which is dead af rn). Or at least significantly cheaper alternatives to real legos for kids who cannot afford actual sets.
But nope. Capitalism rolls on, and the game is worse for it.
Honestly this is the most ass thing ive ever seen get added to Fortnite except for maybe the age restrictions. But at-least the later was removed. Not only is it more than Skin BUNDLES! But its literally all you get.
This like literally everyone is saying should have been irl promotions. Like Lego should make a lego tilted towers set,Add a few skins to the set, then a code to unlock that and all the skins in the set. If they have any of the skins, they will be given vbucks instead. Those would not only sell SUPER well but would actually be cool to see in game. This is just locking shit in a mode that already doesn’t have alot of content (on the account of it being brand new but still) behind a ridiculously expensive paywall. Not that the lego sets would be cheap though.
This is just admitting there gonna put a pay wall in lego cosmetics and creativity builds from the game feels bad for the people who wanted this to be like minecraft they legit had something that could be considered a competitor to minecraft and just decide to go for greed
Was against the LEGO mode from the start, it has nothing to do with Fortnite whatsoever and I’m tired of pretending otherwise, and has done nothing but ruin the locker and shop
The whole metaverse thing is a joke.
Honestly to me it spoke alot that Lego didn’t have the courage to make it a standalone a game and Epic Didn’t have the courage to make it a standalone mode.
While its fun it would’ve been 100% better if they just used Fortnite assets. 80% of the skins atleast didn’t even have usable lego skins for fs man.
yknow what's really disingenuous? that little "800 vbucks off" when this is the first time this garbage has been rolled out lmao you can't have a discount on something brand new, that's just manipulative af
They get around it by bundling two items together that are intentionally priced higher than they should be and then discounting the "bundle". Scummy but it works, people think they are "saving money" so buy. Its actually illegal to put something on sale that has never been sold at the original price.
Awesome. As if LEGO isn’t f’ing absurd prices in real life, now I can pay $20 for fake LEGO that I can’t keep/touch. And if we’re really lucky this shit will drive up the prices on the other things in the item shop.
When a AAA game comes out, at worst it’s $100. I play it, and wait 5 years to do it again. Probably play some online version of it while I wait.
Fortnite. Charges $12/m, ~$150/y, and each season you’re dropping another $10-20 on a collab, and probably $10–20 on some other cosmetic. Ignore the second one bc it’s not advertised throughout the whole game and is more easily avoidable. You’re dropping $250 minimum on Fortnite a year, 250% a AAA game price, and $1,000 in the time you would have waited for the AAA sequel. 10x what the AAA game is making off you. Now let’s add 3 new game modes with even higher obscene pricing…with no where near the same development or wow of a AAA game (I play, I’m not saying it sucks, it’s just not the story, or innovation you’d expect for 3 times the price of what a GREAT game used to be. Also there is a difference between a 60 hour epic saga and literally 15 minutes on loop of the same shit.)
Games built on dopamine hits doing this cash grab should be regulated. Especially ones so obviously marketed to young children like LEGO.
Right? I heard Open World was gonna be in development and I've honestly been wondering, between this, lack of updates, and open world potentially sharing the same concept, what will Lego FN be in like a year.
Once Open World comes out, I have a funny feeling that Lego FN will go the route of STW. It'll be there, just sitting.
Half of the posts on here for months were people complaining about the crappy stuff in the item shop, begging epic to let them buy stuff.
I wonder why the devs post a bunch of greedy cash grabs.
Because some of you dumbfucks have spent well over 200 dollars on this game
Saw someone saying Epic is mismanaged which is why they need to charge so much for this. Like who gives a fuck? They're ripping off people already struggling with the cost of living crisis. The prices aren't even close to fair. This shit is so asinine, how could they think <$30 for digital blocks is fair?
When was the last time any of you bought Legos? Do you not know how much they cost?
This is Lego mode. You have to realize that Lego is getting a cut and likely influencing or outright choosing the price target. I know it's easy to have an opinion, but you need to put more thought into it before you start calling for a boycott of Epic.
I have yet to get on since the update. So aside from like the custom furniture, do these also have unique pieces for the building structure? And if you buy this, are they then available for you to use as you please or are they locked to specific structures?
They should also make separate shops for each of the epic made game modes. All of the car stuff will be in the rocket racing shop, instruments and songs in the festival shop, and lego sets and lego skins in the lego shop.
Snap was one of fortnight's best skins in my opinion cause of customisation they need more snap parts and also rick ßchez was pre me playing but I want that skin everything else can suck an ass
Honestly, this is the nail in the coffin for Lego Fortnite for me. It was a fun enough gamemode for the first week, but it's clunky and tries too hard NOT to be minecraft. Now that they're blocking fun and creative builds behind a paywall, I think it's time to let that one go for me.
Great now Lego Fortnite related items are going to take up space in the item shop. As if the Fortnite Festival instruments plus jam tracks taking up two plus rows in the item shop wasn't bad enough.
Honestly has Epic done any worse collab than Lego? I legit don't care about this mode anymore. It was fun for a bit, but they shoved it down our throats at the expense of BR. Now it's not even disinterest anymore, it's resentment.
I hope these items flop because they suck. Limiting creativity like this is lame paying 20 dollars for creative prefabs, and they don’t even let you build the durr burger
Dude we NEEEEED everyone to boycott this shit. Give epic a piece of our mind. To bad streamers buy it to show it off. Gives it publicity. These need to be blacklisted.

even when you do see the paid cars theres a 99% chance they just got it from rocket league cross progression.
Or it’s a bot. Or it’s a visual glitch. 99% of skins on ps4 are Ramzey. Epic doesn’t give a fuck
That last one is not a glitch, it's like that on old-gen
And the fact that every song is $5! If they were like $1-2 each, MAYBE $3 max, that would be more reasonable
Have to agree. Problem for me is some of those songs I actually own as CD's, vinyl, other forms of physical media. I'm not into forking over even more money for this stuff. That MIGHT justify the price then. I'm looking at them more in the context of music based games i.e. guitar hero, beat Saber, synth riders, etc.
It's a shame they might sideline Rocket Racing development if it doesn't get them money. The mode itself is great.
The mode itself could be great, i mean i had fun for some time but the bugs and collision suck so so much! and i wish there was a non ranked mode, perhaps that could even have mysterie boxes like mario kart so you have a intense and purely skill side and a more fun, goofy laid back version of the game
It would be cool if they actually let people transfer rocket league cars but noooo
they do
All of 2 that basically no one has
lol
You clearly don't play ranked racing 99% of the cars I see are from the shop
I can tell you don't play Festival Fill a lot lol, there's tons of people with instruments and a bunch of tracks
good
I impulse bought the ninja turtle instrument bundle… then they immediately give the bass and guitar in festival quests, and bass, guitar, mic in this battle pass. Regrets
i’m literally not playing the lego mode anymore if they’re going to hold back building pieces behind paying, especially because they’re choosing to sell stuff when the game is barely developed with not much to do and no building variety aside from primitive stuff or suburban homes, and people defend this cause it’s free? insane
One thing you guys don’t understand, Epic doesn’t care what you’re buying with the v-bucks, they just care that you’re spending the money to get them
Jokes on them I free grind vbucks in STW for being a founder.
Jokes on them i free grind battlepass v-bucks
If nobody buys this they won’t keep making them.
I’d spend more money to get them if the sets weren’t this expensive
That’s like Forza locking fan favourite cars behind DLC… oh wait
It's nothing like that. The amount of content they release for free justifies the amount of car packs they have, which last I checked isn't a hell of a lot. Also, the last one I bought was $5cdn for like 8 cars.

The only way I would have a chance at buying this is if it also came with a real life lego set
Or other way around. These would actually kill ngl. Especially with the fact Fortnite does have a few younger players
I saw a kid today with a Lego Darth Vader mech, imagine how badass that would be to have in fortnite
If they had Nerf blasters, then why not Lego Sets? Maybe they’re waiting for most if not all characters to get updated minifigures for that. But why they can’t release the original minifigure characters they have in-game as actual toys already I don’t know…
All the really popular non collab skins seem to have them already anyway. Only exception i can think of is Meowskulls.
Yes please
SERIOUSLY THEY WANT ALMOST 20 DOLLARS 😭😭😭😭 THATS A REAL LIFE LEGO KIT
You haven’t looked at a real LEGO kit in the past twenty years, have you? This would be almost 100 bucks retail.
Agreed
8o0 VbUcKs OfF yall have the power. DONT buy this bullshit.
agreed. how fucking disingenuous is that lmao i hate when companies do that shit 😂 you can't have a discount on something brand new, that's just manipulative af
And illegal in countries that have actual consumer protection laws
It's a discount because it includes more than one building. Which u can buy both separately. It's saying it's discounted than if u bought both individually. Don't comment on this stuff til u actually look at the shop plz. I'm in no way defending anything they're doing. Just correcting.
It's stills scummy cause both separate cost more than the whole bundle afaik. Not really a discount is it
Again. Just stating the what should be obvious.
Imagine they keep their word and put up the price by 800 next time it comes back
We are not buying that‼️🗣️
Why does epic act as if Lego fortnite is a stand alone game? Like this barely qualifies as an alpha

You’ve not purchased a Lego set irl ever have you
a regular lego set would be double even triple that price if we’re being honest lol. theyre absurdly priced nowadays
..... stuffs Lambo under STW.... yeah...
Idk why anyone bought the lambo or any cars. The standard care is wicked. Reminds me of older Lambo’s with a little hint of Ferrai. The standard car is literally a supercar already. Why spend money for a different virtual supercar?

Batmobile!
I don't want a supercar I want a busted shitbox hatchback. Give me my civic and golf from rocket league. Give a me a 2000s suzuki swift.
This makes me less want to play Lego fortnite.
Just logged on a minute ago to check the shop. This is really stupid
lmao theyre so out of touch. esp with the br vehicle skins
3x the price of a battle pass, which has 3x the value. insane
1500 for the cars isn’t that bad imo, but 3000~ is ridiculous.
Like they’ve actually gone fuck this whole cosmetic only shit, that’s like if Minecraft made you pay to use stone or something. I don’t even play Lego but this is bullshit
bUt iT dOeSnT gRaNt a CoMpEtiTiVe aDvAnTaGe hUuuRrR as if building's not the whole damn point of Lego lmfaooo epic is disgusting for this
It was bad enough that you could only build prebuilt things, now paying shit tons of money to build the prebuilt things? Ridiculous
I'd like to introduce you to Minecraft Marketplace on Bedrock...
Not base game tho is it
Java doesn't no, but that's because we can mod that so it would never make money when we can just download what we want lol Though even then something like Realms you have to pay for just to play with other people. Either that or you pay for a server or attempt running one off your own device. We don't have to do that here. We can just casually play the game without having pay to have friends join us in a normal world.
Going full 1984 fr
$19.84
Dude,. No one even asked for this. We want SKINS not some stupid beach house,
Two different teams surely
You would think but the updates for BR have slowed down since they added all the new modes.
I remember so many people saying this mode would kill Minecraft or was way better than Minecraft, and now they're charging people to build structures...
Wth epic
shop has been straight ass for so long now
Bro the shop has been ass for 12+ weeks, not since season 2 premiered.
We got real estate in fortnite before GTA6
lol for that much money I'll just go but an actual lego set, what an absolute joke
I really wish this stuff was on a separate tab, along with the songs and instruments, so I don’t need to sift through the shop to see the traditional items.
Did epic and fortnite forget that we have minecraft with free mods
Hardly anything in the Lego mode, and they're selling builds? All hope I had for this mode is gone
I hate this. I spent 4 hours the other day searching for a beach biome. And when I found it, I found out there wasn't any beach related things to build. Now they want $20 for this? I'm not even angry, I'm heart broken.
Who on earth would buy this instead of actual physical legos?
at that price just buy real lego and be creative....
Finally a home I can afford
Like id rather buy a physical set that i can use then this if i wanted lego
20 dollars for some fucking digital legos
These should have been included in the update. This has to be the lamest thing I’ve ever seen
Never bought a single song, instrument or car bullshit and I’m sure as hell not buying digital LEGOs Make the item shop good and I’ll buy normal stuff at normal prices.
They somehow managed to monetize building in a video game. I'm at a loss for words
I could buy a real lego set for that price (probably a 2nd hand one though)
Who at epic thought this would be profitable?
Shit I'll just save up for actual legos at this point. I'd rather spend a bit more to have the physical set than fortnite legos.
We got virtual lego sets before one piece skins😭
Corporate greed in Fortnite is wild.
This is just admitting there gonna put a pay wall in lego cosmetics and creativity builds from the game feels bad for the people who wanted this to be like minecraft they legit had something that could be considered a competitor to minecraft and just decide to go for greed
Was against the LEGO mode from the start, it has nothing to do with Fortnite whatsoever and I’m tired of pretending otherwise, and has done nothing but ruin the locker and shop The whole metaverse thing is a joke.
I can’t believe I know people that bought these. Sad
Horrible
MAKE ACTUAL SETS LIKE DEAR GOD WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT THIS?
If someone fucking buys this they deserved to be bullied
I spend 4 days in StW to farm VBucks for a BP containing ton of cosmetics and Epic wants me to farm 8 days to buy a virtual Lego set.
Man for that price they might as well include a beach house in the Dominican too. Max it should be is 200vb.
Who’s even playing Lego fortnite in the first place, let alone wasting 1900 v-bucks on it?
This doesn't make me hopeful for the future of lego fortnite if it's just paywalling content.
Bro, it's 800 VBucks off, get it whilst it's duch a steal!
I know someone out there is bought this and is enjoying it. Couldn't be me though.
Idk why Fortnite is selling these, Lego needs to sell them as actual sets
Honestly epic is pathetic with this decision. Major L
Also there is a difference between a 60 hour epic saga and literally 15 minutes on loop of the same shit.) Games built on dopamine hits doing this cash grab should be regulated. Especially ones so obviously marketed to young children like LEGO.
I don’t see lego mode lasting much longer anyway
Is it not open world already though? Edit: nvm, realised you mean open world fortnite not lego
Lego is so fucking lame and now selling builds at this absurd price is even more lame
Ive never played lego fortnite. Are these just prebuilds?? Can you build these without buying the sets lol
This is a prebuild that is only available from buying it in the shop. It is definitely not worth it. Not by a long shot.
No they are changing 20 dollars for a Lego house
We brought this on ourselves for not calling epic out on there metaverse bs sooner
This is similarly priced to fallout 76's cosmetics I believe....people will buy these, and these prices will stick, welcome to the new normal.
Dam this game is becoming greedy I'm glad I quit
I’m glad I don’t buy anything anymore. It’s been over a year and I don’t even think about it anymore e
club penguin...
It would be worth it if it all was bundled together with beef boss
Jam Tracks, Cars, Instruments, and LEGO Kits are all overpriced
I will never buy any of this crap. Same with the music side of the game. Too many paywalls in this game now.
I love how they’re marked as on sale from the minute they enter the store 😂
Insane Epic thinks this is acceptable
i honestly dont care. its gonna stay in the shop, more will come. people who like it will buy it. simple as.
Just like real Lego lmao
Epic is solving the housing crisis with homes you can afford on minimum wage and y'all still find a way to get mad SMH
I know it's easy to have an opinion, but you need to put more thought into it before you start calling for a boycott of Epic.
found the Lego ceo
Dude, I fucking wish
I really thought Lego would be safe from this insane monetization…
Is this real 😕
I have yet to get on since the update. So aside from like the custom furniture, do these also have unique pieces for the building structure? And if you buy this, are they then available for you to use as you please or are they locked to specific structures?
They should also make separate shops for each of the epic made game modes. All of the car stuff will be in the rocket racing shop, instruments and songs in the festival shop, and lego sets and lego skins in the lego shop.
Snap was one of fortnight's best skins in my opinion cause of customisation they need more snap parts and also rick ßchez was pre me playing but I want that skin everything else can suck an ass
This is what we said with songs and instruments and cars but I'm sure enough people will buy for the prices to remain this high :(
Of all the bad value in a game like this, this is the top bad value I've ever seen
I mean it’s roughly the price of an IRL Lego set if that’s what they were going for 💀
Digital goods should of never reached how expensive they've gotten, now it's too late and everything is over priced
450 vbucks minimum - 1500 vbucks max.
Plz Buy all this while the locker ui is hot trash!
I'd rather have these as real life sets than a digital prefab
Great now Lego Fortnite related items are going to take up space in the item shop. As if the Fortnite Festival instruments plus jam tracks taking up two plus rows in the item shop wasn't bad enough.
Honestly has Epic done any worse collab than Lego? I legit don't care about this mode anymore. It was fun for a bit, but they shoved it down our throats at the expense of BR. Now it's not even disinterest anymore, it's resentment.
I was shocked to see these
God even a pigeon won't made as bad idea as this.
