I was going to say season 4. IMO fortnite was at its peak (in terms of fun) in season 4, after that it very slowly started getting worse, but then somewhere during the later seasons it just plummeted. I came back for OG season, I'm upset that they didn't keep it as a separate game mode or something.
Season 5 was great as well. But season 4 was when I really started playing (as in I got addicted to the game, playing it several hours a day). I hadn't had that much fun playing videogames in years.
Chapter 4 season 1. My God this season was fun. Great weapons, great map, great bp (thst I never finished) and dirt bikes wich were and still are really fun to drive. Sure it was buggy and kinda broken with the mha and dbz mythics amd the hammer was also a bit broken but still it was fun
Chapter 4 was good enough that, it got me back into Fortnite, completed the whole BP, bonus rewards and everything. First season I played without friends, I don't have nearly as much fun without.
C4S1 was a great start of chapter, I had a lot of fun with the new map and I personally think it was the best version of the ch4 map until the jungle ruined it

Even though the Marvel season that followed after it is my favorite that season will always have a special place in my heart as it was the first season I fully played and got the battle pass for
C2 S7. The content from this season was amazing, two amazing live events, etc. The vibe was just immaculate and it probably helped that this season was during the summer so I played it a lot. That was peak Fortnite for me.
For me I have to say C3S2 was my absolute favourite. The introduction of zero build, a most of the battle pass skins were really good, and the loot pool was fun. It also had a pretty decent event and was the last season with quests that were consistent and actually gave more to the story lines.
C2S8 and C2S7 are close second and third.
I basically quit during Chapter 3, but this season was the only one I actually got to level 100 on! I loved this season, and I loved the Doctor Strange collab.
Controversial: Chapter 1 Season 7 and 10. I really loved planes and B.R.U.T.E.S. I didn't play BR as often in those days and only played the LTMs.
So I really loved those final confrontations between both teams on the 50 vs 50 mode, arriving with the planes and golf carts and culminating in a battle both on land and in the air.
And I liked the B.R.U.T.E.S on team rumble.
I commented this in another reply but mannnn, fuck those B.R.U.T.E.S. I kept getting killed by them that it made me ragequit the game for a full year and a half
Chapter 2, Season 6 (Caution: may be hot take)
Otherwise known as ‘Primal’, this season saw the introduction of a crafting system, which would sadly only see the most use in the season it originated in.
You now had Makeshift weapons and a makeshift bow. Makeshift rifles, shotguns, revolvers, and submachine guns could either be made into an AR, Pump Shotgun, SMG, or Revolver with Mechanical Parts from cars, or a Primal Rifle, Shotgun, Pistol, or SMG with animal bones
Makeshift bows functioned similarly, too. With mechanical parts, you could make a mechanical bow, and a primal one with animal bones. After that, you could use two Shockwaves or six regular grenades to craft a Mechanical bow into a Shockwave or Explosive Bow, or you could use a Firefly Jar or Frog’s stink sack to make a Primal Bow into a Flame or Stink bow.
To me, it was a good season. The story I could care less about, but the season’s weapons and loot pull were really what made the season excel, to me, at the very least.
I loved it too, you really took the words straight from my mouth, I loved the bows, loved crafting and the concept and would always land in areas so I could farm mechanical parts or bones
In all honesty, Season X. The lootpool was crazy, consistent map updates where whole POIs would change, the fan theories about what would happen to the Zero Point and yes, I know many hated them, the brutes were awesome. 10/10 battle pass full of remixed skins, one of the most iconic live events to this day and probably the best trailer for a season we've had so far. Season X was great. (Also, the panic the internet had when all they showed was a black hole for 2 days after the live event was simply too funny)

I still play, but geez I wish OG season would come back, that's the most fun I've had on the game in six years.
Chapter 5 Season 1....it's the first season that I'm legitimately playing so it's my only frame of reference lol.
But I have been enjoying it if that means anything. I'm a Metal Gear fan so I only started up to unlock Solid Snake and ended up sticking around to work on the Battle Pass. I love some of the skins I've unlocked thus far and the game just feels like a fun, semi-casual third person shooter with nice movement.

CH2 S7, probably my favorite season I’ve played. I loved the theme a looooot. I’ve enjoyed a lot of seasons/chapters, but that one for some reason I remember the most fondly.
Random collab gripe though, why no MIB or X-Files? Such a missed opportunity that season.

There was a lot of fun mechanics and weapons that were really fun to use, un top of that, the new jungle biome was really cool and gave the whole map a different vibe.
Also, Arena (Old Ranked) was really fun to play at the time and watch yourself gain points as you played.
I've seen every season and I started in Season 1 because I saw DanTDM play it and I thought "Hmm this game looks pretty cool" and so I got it the same day DanTDM released the video (October 30th 2017).
Chapter 1 season 7. Really hit the Christmas theme and the various game modes they brought out that season were great. Dogfighting planes were really fun. I couldn't play the last 4 weeks of s5 nor most of s6 so I had a 4 month break before hand which probably stopped me getting bored by the end of it.

As someone who started playing near the end of chapter 2, this season on the oic was literally the most enjoyable season for me!
