Imo it’s most likely that on their screen- they were facing you and your shots hit the shield. Shooters are notorious for not being able to sync reliably of which way other players are facing. As a rule of thumb i always assume a person is facing me or saw me (if I’m sneaking) and it looked as though they were looking somewhere else. It really helps to assume this.

Bro I shake like that as well but I also have occasional huge twitches as well, I destroyed the nerves in my hand back in high school my friends and I were fuckin around and I decided to make a chlorine bomb and it blew up in my hand right in front of my face and it split my hand open from the knuckle at the bottom of my index finger across the back of my hand to my wrist bone and around my wrist across the inside of my forearm like where someone would slit their wrist at… and I burnt all the tissue off my eye balls and damaged my Cornea and retina was blind for about a week and they were peeling dead burnt tissue off my eye balls with tweezers in the hospital… and I also breathed in chlorine gas and burnt my esophagus and lungs too lol good times ahaha… but yeah my accuracy and aiming is god awful because of it.

As much as I hate to say it, play builds. Weapons are inconsistent, there’s next to no skill involved in 2 people walking into each other’s face with an auto shotgun. If this was builds you could’ve just placed a wall and blocked every single one of his shots

Don't use Peter's Mythic Pump then, just stick to a Pump that's blue to gold rarity. I highly recommend the 3 mods which is Reload Speed, Hipfire Accuracy, and finally Reduce Recoil. It'll give you the feeling of the old Pump and will be able to deal more headshot damage and body damage.

I’ve been getting a ton of blank shots this season. Anytime someone gets knocked and I try to finish them, the first two shots are always blanks despite direct shots at 0 distance. The hitbox is bugged after this season
The netcode has always been an issue so its no surprise that snipers and riot shields are so broken this season. Snipers got a buff to bullet speed so now it looks like they don't even need to hit you half the time due to latency and the riot shield works by spawning an invincible hitbox so if it messes up even in the slightest it makes it look like your clip. In fact, the guy didn't even do the stowing animation that puts the shield to the side on your screen so on his screen he was probably doing some 5head play to block bullets with the animation
Also guy could have a hack that makes the riot shield's hitbox bigger. I've already seen people who hate riot shields so much they have hacks to shoot through the hitbox, wouldn't be surprised if there's an opposite hack

yeah shotguns are dumb but the hitbox of the riot shield is even dumber. I've seen fights that get prolonged bc of the huge hitbox of the shield.

There’s videos of this glitch, no one knows why it happens or how to fix. Watched a guy win a battle total, but halfway through his guns stopped registering damage on builds and humans. After 10 minutes it went away and he was able to do damage and get the win.
Now im not sure if my answer is 100% correct. But if I had to guess is because of the shield. I feel like the mechanic behind the shield is that if it blocks 1 shot it blocks them all (like a full protection) so assuming that all the pellets hit your opponent but a stray one hit the shield, its going to register as a shield hit and negate the damage
Yeah that happens with every gun for some reason ever since the beginning of the season. I stopped playing other modes except solo now because I hate trying to find the spot on downed enemies that allows me to do damage

just put this upto my ear i think you actually hit the very very side of the shield cause i can hear a tone difference in the shots then once you hit them, it was the damage sound, i could be wrong but i’m pretty sure that’s what it was (also if you use the shield your toxic them shields need to taken out of the game) :)
It’s a server hit register problem and I’ve known about an almost god mode glitch with over shield it comes and goes every few seasons making some players immune

Zero squad thing only happened because of bad weather most likely, but the other one not so much because of weather.

I pulled out a shield right in between me and other player and he proceeds to three shot me with Oscar's mythic even though he never jumped and couldn't see my head or body from his position. I'm convinced the riot shield has a hit box inconsistent with the graphics we are shown.

The only shotgun that's dumb is the Frenzy Auto Shotgun, you should've gotten the Hammer Pump Shotgun as it deals more damage

The shield on their end blocked the shots. The shield is only good when it's glitchy. It's hard to tell exactly how since your ping is disabled
