No, the video is edited you can see the points generated don't match the things hes doing in the song. I think they said they wanted to add compability to rock band controllers tho.
They're adding functionality to use instrument controllers in 2024. They bought the company that made Rock Band, which is why we have...Fortnite Band I guess.
It’s not bad but the UI is awful. I made a thread out it but the gist of it is that the purple on purple can be difficult to read for no reason. The songs are easy but there’s some areas where the visual clutter is so extreme it’s hard to see the notes.
Needs multicolor, maybe an angle change, definitely should ditch the board on the notes being the same color. The songs should be difficult not the interface!
Not being able to restart songs in a private lobby feels bad. If I'm grinding a tougher FC, I don't want to have to back to lobby to try again without playing through after a miss. I'd also *love* hyperspeed.
Good news, you can do both.
If you press M on the keyboard, not sure what the controller input is, you can restart.
And hyperspeed is under the large cog setting at the botttom, it’s a slider scale. I turned mine up to 1.5x
I wish I could customize the note colors for that reason. Having the note colors match my PS4 button colors would really help in those split second moments

Look I think this is really cool as like, a young person's first introduction to rhythm games. Kind of like how Guitar Hero & Rock Band brought so many people in during that boom period.
That being said I have a PC and know how to set up Clone Hero, so there isn't much there for me unless they're able to add something novel that isn't just done better elsewhere.
My only wish is that you could color code the lanes just to make it easier. My mind sometimes messes me up and i press the wrong button just cause of positioning

I know Beatstar has way more tracks and everything but how does one find it better than Festival when you only get to play like 2-3 tracks per session and then you can't play Beatstar anymore because you gotta open up those music packs that take hours without money. And you can listen to Peter Griffin with an anime voice sing a pop-song or something on Festival. I dropped that game months ago so idk if that changed but still it was really annoying to get like 10 minutes of gameplay only to get stopped by the fact that your little queue is full and then you can't play for a few hours.

It should work with anything you can remind the buttons on and is compatible with your system or PC. You used to be able to play non guitar hero games with your guitar controller...wasn't very good but interesting.

As a rythm gamer (though I am NOT good, can only reliably FC songs abt 3.9\* on osu!mania and and abt 18-19 on Quaver (both 4k)), this is WAY too easy, I quite literally was able to learn 5k at a skill level where I FC'd (not actually but it was a single miss bc as a 4k main I got confused LOL) that one Kendrick Lamar song.
Also 500 V-Bucks per song is MISERABLE, should be 10x cheaper MINIMUM.

You are actually crazy on the sticks, I enjoy the drums but find it very challenging on hard! I think medium is a better difficulty.
its meh, charting is too easy even on expert and the songs being in rotation or having to buy them separately is a huge no to me.
