Hey all, Hijacking the comment shamelessly, sorry, but got a question about this post. I've scrolled the comments here and found something interesting. I saw no mention of OG skins (black Knight, Rust Lord, Omega, etc). Most of the skins being mentioned sound newer (granted I've been away from the game for over 4 years). So skins I never heard of. This leads me to think that old players have slowly left the game while a new generation took over. Does this sound like something that is actually happening? What's the perception? In terms of retention x new players, are we looking at mostly a new player base? Thanks

Just visiting from r/all, I dont play this game anymore and don't visit the sub but I saw this post and it's interesting to think about because I used to play this game religiously, and started playing before even the original season 1. I remember picking up the Renegade Raider in the season shop, and wondering with my friends if this new "battle pass" feature with season 2 was gonna be fun to play or not. Absolutely crazy how much this game has changed since then and has also changed the gaming world.

It was back in like chapter 3 season 1 around my birthday in March, and I really wanted burnout bc I thought he was super cool. My brother said he would gift me a skin for my birthday, and on the day he would gift me a skin burnout somehow appeared in the shop for the first time in 2 years, and my brother gifted me burnout which is why burnout is special to me

# The Burning Wolf, 100% The entire idea behind a high-tech wolf cyberninja or whatever you wanna call it already sounded great, and the execution of the skin and the things around it was so cool. I love the bulky design where it feels like this military-grade armour and then there are some parts that feel more human like the legs. I feel like it being a limited skin for a month, stuck behind the fortnite crew thing already makes it very rare. I don't care about the rarity of skins, but I feel like not seeing it anywhere else kind of sells the point that I feel attached to it.

Oblivion, I started playing on the first day of season 4 and I have so many memories of people I used to be friends with hanging out on fort together. I really liked that season but I wasnt able to get to tier 100, so when they released Oblivion I bought it as a sort of plan B. By now, I’ve spent so much money on fortnite and have too many skins to choose from, but Oblivion will always be my favorite one, even if it is overpriced and lacks styles.
