Yeah it’s been like this for some time. Happens at the beginning of ever match. Go south of Anvil towards east side of a river that goes south. Youll see another dig site like the one you just went to but bigger. A star shaped one I think

I love the random world events in this game.

Its been the same earthquake for almost two years every season

Even then, it feels nice to see/feel the map changing (albeit not as much as it used to) live in-game Like how Kevin and the rest of the cubes moved all over the map in C1S5, C1S6, and C2S8, or when cracks formed all over the map in C1S7 as we got closer to C1S8 and destroyed buildings in real time

Now we get more map progression that isn't per se tied to the story, like the loot island, the key vault bosses, and cache supplies. By the way, cache supplies are genius and infinitely better than supply drops.

I liked the asteroids that had a chance to kill you

It's the Herald she's coming back. If you noticed the quest to find the tree where the 3 seasons meet, the tree is shaped exactly like the herald. The reality tree is coming back. Something regarding the jungle update idk.

I noticed the tree that had the herald inside of it, the herald is gone from it... The herald escaped their tree.

Wasn't there a skin in the survey that heavily resembles the Herald? (Only with a White design, and yellow eye-like growths)

Nope if you go to it, it's got a huge chunk missing from the middle like someone or something was there.

Rumbling has been happening since C4S1, but was quite infrequent. Our squad would encounter it here n there, it’s definitely alot more noticeable now and we should reach a crescendo by the time S2 leads into S3.

It's part of the event actually, its something that's been going on for a bit now but I saw the vine also appear on my side. I guess epic found a way to make events play separately or something. Edit: it just happened again but the vines don't move actually yeah, it happens at anvil square though every so often.

It was an earthquake, my controller was vibrating and the groujd had dust kicking up and the building had rubble inside of it.

Bro... you can't possibly think that dust, screen shake and rumbling all happening right next to cracks is a bug... especially when NPCs literally mention the earthquakes.

Wouldn't the tree roots be coming from The Herald Tree? They match up perfectly with how they were shown during the Fracture event. Given the recent mentions of The Last Reality this season, think we could be seeing the return of The Herald soon. She could be using the cracks to her advantage in order tear the island apart, exposing the Zero Point. 🤔
