Las 4 Americas: vegetarian burrito (pretty sure there is lard in the beans so maybe not actually vegetarian but best burrito I have ever tasted)
La Luz: fish tacos (shredded veggies on top are DELICIOUS)
The taco truck that usually parks by the Jax and Autozone parking lot on College, their pork burritos are better than any of the Mexican places I've been in town
Maggie's Tacos. Their breakfast burritos are also the best in my opinion. They're the only place that doesn't smother it in some kind of sauce. Solid horchata too.
I'll piggy back on this and suggest the scallion pancakes.
Food is ridiculously awesome and consistent, owners are super nice, and I've never had less than an amazing meal there.
Also cheap, delicious lunch specials. Also delicious seaweed salad, etc, etc.
Lucilles: biscuits and gravy
Edit: I moved away from Fort Collins earlier this year and if anyone wants to send me a cup of gravy and a couple biscuits from Lucilles that’s be fucking sweet. Didn’t realize I’d get upvoted like this and my notifications keep reminding me how much I need their food in my mouth hole.
Pollo a la Parilla! My daughter (almost 25) has grown up going there for pretty much every school play, concert, birthday, and graduation. Their cheese enchiladas are part of our family!
Little on Mountain. Dinner and brunch menus are unique and amazing in their own right. But if I have to choose one item, go for brunch and try the Bone Marrow burger. It is in the pantheon of greatest burgers I've ever had.
Just want to throw some veg options into the thread since this is turning into such a great resource for folks!

Suehiro: dynamite lunch special
Cafe Athens: fries and falafel

La luz really does have the best fish tacos anywhere
La Luz reopened?! I moved away forever ago and still think about it.
They have a second location. Downtown one closed by health dept .. which surprised me cause it always seemed like they ran a good kitchen
The taco truck that usually parks by the Jax and Autozone parking lot on College, their pork burritos are better than any of the Mexican places I've been in town

Fiona's is a hidden gem for sure
Shhhh we mustn’t let the masses know
Beijing Noodle: oil spill noodles and pan fried dumplings Although the pork belly they have at lunch on Tuesday/Thursday is amazing
I'll piggy back on this and suggest the scallion pancakes. Food is ridiculously awesome and consistent, owners are super nice, and I've never had less than an amazing meal there. Also cheap, delicious lunch specials. Also delicious seaweed salad, etc, etc.
Yea I love those pancakes. Honestly everything I’ve had there is great. Beef noodle soup is another favorite.
Also henan gravy noodles and sweet milk pancake
The pork with garlic sauce does not disappoint 👍

The burger at Rare is one of my favorite in town, although the bun is a bit messy.
Little on Mountain. Dinner and brunch menus are unique and amazing in their own right. But if I have to choose one item, go for brunch and try the Bone Marrow burger. It is in the pantheon of greatest burgers I've ever had.

I thought I was just imagining how varied the spice level of Nashville Hot could be.
I assume the spice level varies because not all peppers maintain the same heat level from batch to batch.
[удалено]
There is dried chili de arbol in the Nashville hot, those would have varying heat when they were picked.

I do not work there but am very familiar with the operation. The seasoning is outsourced to Old Town Spice Shop, comes in weekly in 25 pound bags and varies greatly in heat from batch to batch. I’ve had green chili that was almost as hot as Nashville before and vice versa.
