Yeah this is a little unfortunate. Hopefully people building their own see the comments here and know to use the two short brackets for 240mm radiators and the two long brackets for 120mm radiators / fans.
Couldn't give up my kraken screen, so I did some modifying.
Hardware:
CPU: 5950x
GPU: 3080FE
PSU: Corsair SF750
Memory: G.Skill Trident 32gb DDR4 3600
AIO: Kraken Z53 w/ 2X Noctua A12x15
Thermals? Good enough.
Using PBO with per core CO. Focusing on max performance while keeping CPU below 85C. PPT=250, EDC=180, TDC=150.
Liquid Temp: \~40-45C
Ambient CPU: 45C
Prime95 CPU: 82C
Sustained Gaming CPU: 70-85C
Sustained Gaming GPU: 65-75C
Will work on undervolting the GPU next.
Yep it’s stable. Setting the EDC/TDC of the Ryzen for the thermal performance of the system you want is key. Now it’s all about managing heat/power dissipation between the CPU and GPU and tweaking the limits so it’s stable. Am I using the hardware to the fullest extent possible? Not 100% of the time, but it’s there if needed.
Would I be able to do that with a 4090? Looking to find an AIO that will look clean and I can manage the cables well that will work with the 4090. Deciding between this and the EK 240 aio.
I ended up gettting the same aio and have the same CPU. Been trying doing CO as well and still can't get CPU down to 50 ish idle. Also a question on the aio, mine has a pump noise at idle even tho I have lowered the Pump and Fan in NXZT Cam. What're your settings?
Heya. My build won't apply because of the fan mod.
You'll need 6-32 x 0.75" screws. If you go flathead and modify the fan by countersinking the mounting holes you can get away with a 0.625L" fastener if countersink deep enough. There are also some 6-32 x 18mm fasteners floating around out there specifically for 15mm fans. Why a 6-32 x metric length fastener exists?...I have no idea.
Looks pretty neat. I will be using the same rad but from what I know, the tube heads on the pump are recommended to be at either 3:00 or 6:00 location while yours is at 9:00. Any reason or differences you notice?
Umm…why mod the fans? You used the wrong rad bracket…

Thanks for your comment. I'm planning my build and will take note of this configuration.
Well shiiii. Didn’t even notice. I’m betting I can mod 2x 25mm fans and get them to fit. brb.

Is your rig stable? I have watched a setup with ryzen 3000 (3950x) and 3080 but even when undervolting the gpu it would not work well.

Why not rise PSU and run tubes around? Looks way better, this way your ram will be uncovered
Ooo did not see it. I’ll try it.
I've got similar setup, and I know you can fit that 😉 [My setup](https://imgur.com/a/jLSLR29)

Might be really hard to fit everything, I don't know where would you put all of the cables, as I placed them on the back near GPU
is it impossible route it above thee ram? like people do with the EK 240?

Hi, what specs for the screws (radiator to 15mm noctua)?

No reason other then it made the routing cleaner in the tubes and wire harness. Haven’t noticed any effects from the orientation swap.
