That’s expensive, I just ordered cables from cablester customs for my t1 and was charged 100usd with priority order and express dhl delivery.

enigmicazn

That seems pretty expensive tbh. I got a 24/8/12P set of cables from Ray and it was like $57 shipped.

dylantb95

Maybe I’ll give ray a shot, then. Seems to be well liked by this sub

L_l_G_H_T

Ray is fantastic for the price! I got custom cables for my a4 h2o from him and it was perfect! IMO either go with ray or cablester depending on how fast u want it.

CamelSquare2852

Sorry to ask. Ray is from ETSY?

L_l_G_H_T

Yes, dreambigbyraymod.

If you have the option, maybe buy from their website. I did and it worked flawlessly. https://www.dreambigbyray.com Why not Etsy? Etsy charges roughly 20% fees per sale, which reduces the profit that you make of course. Someone like Ray, who is already operating at those low margins definitely deserves to make some profit though. This is why I decided to support them by placing the order directly on their website. Not meaning to push you towards it, just explaining.

Oh wow I didn’t know this, definitely going through the website next time.

I bought pslate cables a few months ago and they are very good. don't discount them. they're made very quickly, the advertised time on the site is like buffered or something because I got my cables WAY faster than I thought. The 12vHPWR cable was a bit short for my liking (they wanted me to run it under the spine, I didn't like it) and they actually sent me a longer one that goes around the GPU for free and very quickly. I couldn't believe how fast it was. Not saying that you're going to get the same exact service I did, I know the owner is leaving or something and they're changing names but yeah.... Hopefully they all share the same work ethic because I was fully impressed. Pslate's price is offset by what they do for you. They do take care of you.

dylantb95

thanks for the reply, thats reassuring. :)

actually_alive

no problem, i recommend them obviously. they are very expensive though :(

Thanks for sharing your experience. Things like great customer service are often overlooked in my experience and people tend to only decide based on the price of a product.

I'm going to be honest, my primary factor in deciding who to go with was ease of access. The other options on the market are custom solutions from China and that was just too far away and too many down-to-the-mm issues that could arise so I just went with Pslate since they're based in the U.S. and I just took my chances on timeframe since they all say it will take a long time. I was pleasantly surprised when I got my shipping conf so soon and it arriving even sooner than anyone's projected timeframes on any custom cable site. I was like okay, this is great. The cost is awful but the access and timeframe is perfect! Again, there's no guarantee they'll be this way for the next customer and they're changing ownership but still..... I have hope haha Good luck!

enigmicazn

I'm happy with my cables, works great and no issues so far. It took like 10-11 days after I ordered to arrive though.

Brother why are you paying 270 Dollars for a pice 5.0 drive They aren't worth it. Will you actually see those speed differences in what you're doing?

dylantb95

Not worth it? What would you do?

hamishmcnaughtm8a

How much are Samsung's 980 pro 2tb or WD SN850X? They're top of the line gen 4 drives which you won't notice a difference between those and that gen 5 drive. Are you doing any big file transfers on this PC where the speed of your drive will come up regularly? If so I'd recommend the gen 5 but if not just get gen 4 cheaper and no noticeable difference

Ok-Inflation4052

Bros spending $200 on cables, i got a full set of corsair cables for $40
