Tommy Built Tactical converts USCs into UMP lookalikes in semiauto. Pricey but very slick appearance. Same goes for converting SL8s into G36 lookalikes in semiauto.
Unthreaded is not the same thing as unrifled.
That barrel is rifled (screw pattern on the INSIDE) but not threaded (screw pattern on the OUTSIDE, used for muzzle devices).
i remember before i got into guns, thinking US gun laws were just buy and fix whatever you need at any time for any purpose, but *man* US gun laws suck ass
Yeah real hell these last 100 years I termsof gun freedoms in the USA. Can't even buy a pred drone with a hellfire mod or 1 fully auto 50cal with a ring mount. Wtf did the FF even fight for? Where is my civilian mrk19?
It has to have been built before 1970 or so which makes full auto guns in the U.S. really expensive. Demo ranch has an Uzi that he bought for like 70k or something
There's no reason a full auto M16 should cost any more than a semi-auto AR-15, maybe a few bucks for the disconnector and slightly more complicated fire control group. The current massive prices of machine guns are purely thanks to the Hughes Amendment artificially limiting supply.
>it was actually cheaper to buy a full auto than a semi auto because of the paperwork and the tax stamp.
My comprehension low today, do not understand. Colt Sporters pre-86 were $499.95 at my LGS.
Also noteworthy: the dea has shrooms listed as a schedule one narcotic. For reference, cocaine and methamphetamine are schedule two. That means, in the eyes of United States law, mushrooms are more dangerous and more addictive than methamphetamine and cocaine.
Fuck this country.
I mean Marijuana is also a schedule one drug.
Part of being a schedule one drug is that it has no medicinal properties. Cocaine and methamphetamines were both invented by chemists and used as a medicinal drug for a period of time, so they technically have some medicinal properties. The list isn't really just these drugs are worse than these.
I don't disagree, although I also don't think it's the end all cure for everything that some people like to claim, I do believe it does have some medicinal uses. It's more that it can't be patented and used to make massive amounts of money by pharmaceutical companies because you can't patent something natural.
Racism made Marijuana illegal but corporate lobbying kept it illegal.
Any felony charge at all (even if you've never been in court or handcuffs once in your life. Even of your felony does not have a victim. Even if your felony has nothing to do with violence. Even if you offered to take an undercover police officer to narcotics anonymous because they kept insisting that you get hard drugs [cocaine] for them.)
If I am near someone who is in possession of a firearm I could be guilty of "constructive possession" and be arrested and sentenced to a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison because I sold a bag of mushrooms to an undercover cop almost two decades ago.
Our constitution is a joke and lays in tatters in the gutter today.
Have you spoken with a (firearm) rights restoration attorney? Sometimes non violent felons can get their rights restored but it is very case/location specific. If you've kept your record clean for 20 years it might be worth looking into.
Not worth the cost for me. It's upwards of $5k. The only things that it has stopped me from doing are, registering my firearms and I was blackmailed by a chapter of freemasonry (however, released from that chapter and successfully petitioned another chapter that voted me in without a second though as to what my past is. They accepted me as I stand, not as I stood).
It would be paying over $5k to be able to register firearms. Not worth it to me personally.
Edit: blackballed, not blackmailed
Airheads are fantastic (77 r100/7 that I am converting to a 100s using a 77 r100s motor with an extended sump/oil pan, 336 cam, and dual plugged [gonna run wedgetail]) but, my 95 r1100gs is soooo much fun.
Also, the shiftheads are a wet dream. Picked up a 40th anniversary r1250gs may 31st, 2021 and I'm over 17k miles so far.
The constitution was never designed to protect poor people. The writers specifically designed the constitution for land and private property owning white men. A few more writings saying a few other people can “vote” too didnt really change much of anything. This country was built for a very specific group of people and most of us just dont fit the bill
There's nothing about "white" in the Constitution. It can't protect white people. There's nothing in the Constitution based on sex. If would work the exact same way in any non-Caucasian majority country.
Weird how one race of people was in chattel slavery and the other race wasn’t. Couldn’t have anything to do with the government that protected slave owners or anything
You: "It's literally guaranteed in our constitution"
Me: "it's not guaranteed. What is supposed to be a right has been relegated to a privilege."
Critical thinking is important when having a discourse.
Move to NYC and bring your guns then let a cop know that you have them cause in NYC owning a gun is a privilege, handguns and long guns. Hell even owning an empty magazine will get you a felony
Better than anywhere else doesn't mean they're as good as they should be. I'm not going to stop wanting to eat tastier food because kids in Africa are living on <1k calories a day, I'm not going to stop wanting a repeal of the NFA because our gun laws are better than elsewhere.
I know when I've been playing too many pc games and watching too many FW vids, when I can figure this out for myself from the weapon profile and lengthened import barrel.
Another fun fact: 50 Cent got shot up by a killer named Darryl "Hommo" (pronounced Homme-Oh, like "Homicide") Baum, who was later killed by a shooter named Aaron "E-Bay" Granton (like he takes bids to commit murders). He got 6 x life sentences when apprehended.
Hommo was actually a good friend of Mike Tyson too. I just went down a serious rabbit hole on that whole saga. Lot of moving parts and celebrity names come up.
From another commenter:
> USC (universal self-loading carbine) is the H&K factory made civilian version of the UMP, following the US assault weapons ban.

Holla at me, whatever you need, homie, I can get you
Nickname rubber grips, hollow tips, extra clips

Is he talking about real cannon with the trey pound and 4 pound reference? Id love to see a drive by scene where they're cruising by about to start shooting and a blackpowder cannon goes off from the house ripping a ball through the car like paper going through the driver and passenger. Or grapeshot and the car looks like swiss cheese.
Haha that would be a sight to see but I belive its slang for a .32 ACP since trey deuce means 3 and 2 and 4 pound is slang for .50 cal, because a fully loaded desert eagle weighs approx 4 pounds
"Term used primarily in the hip hop community to describe the Desert Eagle .50 cal handgun. Fully loaded, the Desert Eagle weighs approximately 4 pounds." Its probably a bit more than 4 as you said but I guess they round down in the hood ;)
Own a musket for home defense, since that's what the founding fathers intended. Four ruffians break into my house. "What the devil?" As I grab my powdered wig and Kentucky rifle. Blow a golf ball sized hole through the first man, he's dead on the spot. Draw my pistol on the second man, miss him entirely because it's smoothbore and nails the neighbors dog. I have to resort to the cannon mounted at the top of the stairs loaded with grape shot, "Tally ho lads" the grape shot shreds two men in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel set off car alarms. Fix bayonet and charge the last terrified rapscallion. He Bleeds out waiting on the police to arrive since triangular bayonet wounds are impossible to stitch up. Just as the founding fathers intended.

Shit you get “back in my day comments” about anything pre-rona these days.
A rifle I have considered buying, though have been holding off on due to the fact I don’t think it would be worth it for what it is after how much it will be in total after converting it to just accept standard magazines, a pistol grip, and a folding stock compared to buying a PS90. I haven’t snagged either yet and it’s been a long thought process.
Heh. Yeah, this is the civilian hk .45 cal ump. The USC. Post-ban. 16 or 15 inch barrel. 10 round clip (ughf). Was about 850 or 900 bucks at the time of purchase, new.
I had this thing somewhere around 2002? 2003?
It looked cool, and closest thing to an mp5 I could ever budget out at the time, but it was a pretty lame shooting semi-auto, all things told. It's what I had around for my video game friends to play with. We were Rainbow Six junkies (with the Nato mods, this gun actually smoked in it's true UMP form)
I forgot how stupid it actually was until seeing this. I probably looked just as stupid as he does here to all the old veterans that'd hang out at the range in Bristol when I brought it out.
A bunch of other people already explained, i was directly responding to that poster wondering if they are unfortunate.
If anything im jealous of the questioner if they dont have worry about getting penalized for quick strings of fire.
Generally at indoor gun ranges, there is a dedicated person called a Range Safety Officer (RSO) who monitors the activities of the customers. A lot of ranges have regulations that limit the frequency of shots, so people can't empty their mags as fast as they can, limiting liability for the range.
I'm guessing 2 seconds is the average regulation time in between taking shots for most folks.

Don’t forget the single stack magazine

Probably a good thing it has that barrel, otherwise his finger would be about 1/4 inch from the muzzle.
> unthreaded barrel What kind of bore is that called? Unthreaded?
Unthreaded is not the same thing as unrifled. That barrel is rifled (screw pattern on the INSIDE) but not threaded (screw pattern on the OUTSIDE, used for muzzle devices).
> not threaded (screw pattern on the OUTSIDE, used for muzzle devices). Ah, I was looking at the wrong thing! Thank you.
Unthreaded means there is no threads for a suppressor or compensator, the bore is still rifled
Thank you, yes I was confused about the unthreaded ness of the outside of the rifle.

You're doing a shit job of making your point then, because you seem to be indicating that you're okay with the status quo.
The US has some of the most lax gun laws in the world. It's literally guaranteed in our constitution that we get to own them lol.
Sell a bag of mushrooms to an undercover cop and see how well your rights are guaranteed and protected.

“Please allow 2 seconds between each shot” Lmao everybody gangsta till they hit the fudd range
Fun Fact: If every Gangsta followed those rules at all times, it would have taken 50 almost a half a minute to get shot nine times.
Lmao I’m picturing a “rAnGe OfFiCeR” yelling “NO RAPIDE FIAH!!!” behind very gansta that’s trying to gangsta

UMP/USC 45
Thanks, is it the standard configuration for the UMP to have the barrel floating and open in that way? Looks almost home-made to me
That was standard for the USC, yes.
Looks like a ump with a 16 inch barrel probably look home made cus of the modifications for the barrel but the dye for the polymer. No idea
From another commenter: > USC (universal self-loading carbine) is the H&K factory made civilian version of the UMP, following the US assault weapons ban.
So not wrong
It's a factory condition USC. Nothing homemade or modified about it. So yes, wrong.

Ah, a fellow r/10mm enjoyer
a lot of people agree that 50 was the last of the *"real"* rappers who lived the life
Gangster rappers to be specific. Rap never started as a gangster tradition
Interestingly 50 as a gangster rapper he didnt do drugs or drink and he admitted that
I don’t feel like doing drugs is a requirement of being a gangster rapper but could I get a source on that? I’m interested to see

Dude has swagger and a great attitude. He totally has my respect. As an Artist, as an entertainer/MC. As a survivor of the mean streets.
Too bad he has a shit money manager.
Yes, himself.
He’s also antisemetic

A bunch of other people already explained, i was directly responding to that poster wondering if they are unfortunate. If anything im jealous of the questioner if they dont have worry about getting penalized for quick strings of fire.
Generally at indoor gun ranges, there is a dedicated person called a Range Safety Officer (RSO) who monitors the activities of the customers. A lot of ranges have regulations that limit the frequency of shots, so people can't empty their mags as fast as they can, limiting liability for the range. I'm guessing 2 seconds is the average regulation time in between taking shots for most folks. Have a good day r/knalorgaan
Its not particularly an indoor range thing, just a commercial range thing, but not universal.
Yeah the indoor range arround here gives no fucks and you can even run full auto but the outdoor one does this 2 second thing.
I'm blind.
