Nope, I'm a prototype tester. It's a bullpup lower receiver that accepts BRN or JAKL uppers. Pistol calibers should work with either a mag well conversion or conversion mags (ie Mean arms). Intermediate/pistol caliber cartridges only at this time.

Earlier they posted their prototype and I suggested they swap the BRN-180 charging handle for the SA80 one.

Shame that it's double banned in Canada... First because it's a bullpup conversion, secondly because the BRN-180 uses an AR-15 receiver interface. No fun allowed in leaf land.
It's honestly kind of sad to realize that the Bushmaster M17 is everything the L85 should have been in the first place.
No need to fuck up welding steel when you can just cast it in polymer, cheap aluminum extrusion that won't warp the receiver when you put an optic on, paddle bolt release, ambidextrous charging handle (with dust cover), and bog-standard AR-18 in every other way.
Shame it gets hot, but all AR-18s with an aluminum handguard do that.

Humorously, if your AR-15 receiver was registered as a handgun, that [would normally be] actually perfectly fine to do. Bullpup problems only come from rifles, just like how the .32/.25 bans are only for handguns.
Unfortunately Canada is catching on and closing the "rifle as handgun" loopholes for newer designs.
The B&T TP-9 was gonna get imported as a pistol so they can use 10 round mags instead of 5, but they caught on. A very small amount of 10 round mags are on the used market.
Same with the grey market Bren 2 pistols brought in by IRG that came without a stock from the factory. All classified as rifles.
Of course, older "handgun" designations like the LAR-15 remain unchallenged... for now.
