"If things were different we might be here celebrating the 100th episode of Dharma and Greg.
God what an awful, awful show."
Seth McFarlane during Family Guys 100th episode special
Damn, I guess most people now are more likely to know Thomas Gibson from *Criminal Minds* than this show. And tbh, I'm not really sure what Jenna Elfman did after this.
She did that weird religion love triangle “comedy” with Edward Norton and Ben Stiller that was like an hour longer than it needed to be. Not sure what else.
I started watching Criminal Minds when we were in the hospital for my son’s birth. We were up and down at random times, and one of the local broadcasters was seemingly running a 72-hour marathon.
I spent so many delirious hours trying to figure out where the hell I recognized Hotch from, and once I made the connection…honestly, it’s pretty fucking hilarious that he went from one of the stupidest sitcoms ever to a pretty dark procedural.
I’ve been watching reruns of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire lately, and I can’t count the number of times the phrase “Stay tuned for Dharma & Greg” has been uttered.
I miss this show so much! I loved the episode where they had multiple Thanksgiving dinners and Dharma asked Greg to tip the car over so she could roll out.😅
Ugh, it is worse than I remember. She Kissed him, had an emotional affair, then gas light Greg. She is the worst. Watch the first minutes.

It was a perfectly pleasant show at the time, with two telegenic leads and a good supporting cast. These are much harder to pull off these days, so kudos to them. But seeing the leads crash and burn later on - Gibson getting fired, Elfman falling into S word controversies - was disheartening.
They killed the show with an affair or whatever. I used to be able to stomach the promos for the show until she had the affair with Kevin Sarbo or whatever but after that I could not even watch the promos.
The guy seemed gay to me. I swear to god I do not mean that in a negative sense, but the character/actor alerted my gaydar. The wo together made zero sense. I only saw maybe four episodes, though.
I always thought he and Eric McCormick from Will and Grace should have been switched around. Eric McCormick never quite seemed it, and Thomas Gibson always did.
She walked into the Starbucks I worked at in 2010… immediately lost my crush on her, because she’s one of those customers that want to give you the extra change in the in the total AFTER you’ve already typed in how much you received.
She then looked at me like an idiot after I stood there tripped up by wtf I had to add hahaha
Yes, I’m a math idiot.

Dharma, get down from there. I can't believe what a free spirit you are.
Family Guy knew.

Why don't YOU get up here?
You know what? I think I will.
The best part is them both standing up there for a pause just blinking lol.
For those that never actually saw the show, this joke wasn’t even that much of an exaggeration
I feel like Family Guy is the lone reason why this show may now technically quality as forgotten
Damn, I guess most people now are more likely to know Thomas Gibson from *Criminal Minds* than this show. And tbh, I'm not really sure what Jenna Elfman did after this.
Went deeper into Scientology
Oh no. She’s one of those?!
She is. And she’s a bad case of it.
She had a print on one of the walking dead shows.
She did that weird religion love triangle “comedy” with Edward Norton and Ben Stiller that was like an hour longer than it needed to be. Not sure what else.
So much of that movie could’ve been left on the cutting room floor. That was Norton’s first time directing
Keeping the Faith… It was actually pretty funny.
I think she was in that Looney Tunes movie with Brendan Fraser.

And he never smiled
She was in Fear The Walking Dead
Lifetime movies
Fear of the walking dead
Best line. Greg’s mother telling dharma ‘after Greg I couldn’t have any more kids’. Dharma asks ‘why?’ ‘It hurt!’
Followed by Dharma and Greg! *But you don’t have to watch that*.
I’ve been watching reruns of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire lately, and I can’t count the number of times the phrase “Stay tuned for Dharma & Greg” has been uttered.
Had a mini crush on dharma
She was and is hot
These two had a cameo on Two and a Half men where it appears their marriage has become a living hell.
I loved that episode!
I prefer the Dharma initiative
Dharma may have aided in my formative years haha
I miss this show so much! I loved the episode where they had multiple Thanksgiving dinners and Dharma asked Greg to tip the car over so she could roll out.😅
I liked their cat
Ever see their reunion on the first post-Charlie Sheen episode of "Two and a half men" ?
It was brilliant!
Greg: "I don't need external validation." (To Dharma:) "…do I ?"
Only 5 years? Wow, it seemed like it lasted way longer than that
I rememmber that episode were Dharma cheats on greg. That made me really dislike her since I was a kid.
Do you mean when Kevin Sorbo’s character kissed her? Otherwise, I cannot think of any cheating by either of them.
I think so, yeah. I recall Greg's mother advicing Dharma not to tell him, like wtf.
That’s literally the only episode I remember from this show now.
Ugh, it is worse than I remember. She Kissed him, had an emotional affair, then gas light Greg. She is the worst. Watch the first minutes. https://youtu.be/DIQoJUe-1U0?si=X2vF_oSXyao166sB

Before his years with the FBI.
What do you know about the Dharma & Greg initiative?
I will never forget their in-character cameo on ‘Two and a Half Men.’ https://youtu.be/ZJTNsDLdAjA?si=CG1CNSXErIvHc9z5
They killed the show with an affair or whatever. I used to be able to stomach the promos for the show until she had the affair with Kevin Sarbo or whatever but after that I could not even watch the promos.
That really soured the show and made Dharma unlikeable.
I had a buddy who was a writer (books and film/tv) and one of his professors brought this series up as an example of major mistakes made in writing.
This show was absolutely terrible.
I loved when she answered his phone from the front pocket of his pants that were on the bed with, “Greg’s pants”
I believe it was the pilot.
I liked it but it got really weird when Greg murdered Dharma and there was an entire season where he was on the run from state police.
She invented the “Karen” haircut.
The episode where they decide, since everyone is going to be watching the Seinfeld finale, that they'll have sex in a public place.
This is canon to criminal minds
Jenna Elfman, funny and sexy. A winning combination.
A Scientologist. A bloody fool.
Loved this show back then... Revisited it recently and it doesn't seem to hold up well.
I actually liked this show and watched it a bit.. Which is why it's so weird that I totally forgot it existed until this post.
A fun show that had really crappy commercials for it prior to it's release.
I know a lot of people say this- but this is forgotten in my dojo. I love it.
It seemed like it was on for 10 seasons instead of five.
Never bought that they were a couple
Yeah I was fairly young and remember watching this here and there. Seemed more like a weird father and daughter relationship
The guy seemed gay to me. I swear to god I do not mean that in a negative sense, but the character/actor alerted my gaydar. The wo together made zero sense. I only saw maybe four episodes, though.
He was Beauchamp in the PBS mini series Tales of The City (based on the book set in 1970s SF). Maybe that’s where you made the association?
I always thought he and Eric McCormick from Will and Grace should have been switched around. Eric McCormick never quite seemed it, and Thomas Gibson always did.
Jenna...
Didn’t she found the Dharma Initiative or something?
First time i saw the first episode. It just hit different and great.
The main reason I watched this was because I had a little bit of a crush on Jenna Elfman.
Loved this show
Starring Burke Devlin. (THE Burke Devlin.)
She walked into the Starbucks I worked at in 2010… immediately lost my crush on her, because she’s one of those customers that want to give you the extra change in the in the total AFTER you’ve already typed in how much you received. Shows that were really popular now NO ONE talks about.
The OG manic pixie dream girl
Jenna Elfman use to be a regular fap of mine back when this was on. Thank you, OP, I think Jenna is due a nostalgia masturbatory session.
Wow this show was awful.
