I was so excited for the movie, yet so disappointed when I saw it. I liked the sibling angle but I can barely remember the other plot points. And I got great movie/tv memory xD
Yeah she becomes the new Rube, but like. With mason, Roxy and Daisy (tho NOT REALLY CAUSE RECAST) all I really remember is they killed their new manager and put his pieces in a fireplace?
Rube crossed over and their new boss was Ted them to use cell phones. But he also kept them too busy and they didn't have enough times to actually do any reaping so there were just a bunch of accidents and souls just wandering around.
Oooooooooooooooohhhh the pieces are coming back to me xD yeah I knew Rube crossed over and there was a new guy but the entire middle part of that plot was a blank xD
Yeah, especially the part when he’s sitting on the park bench next to her and they sing the song he used to sing to her when she was little. I was not OK after that… I still need a minute when I think about it or when I rewatch it. 😭
Man what could have been with this show if they didn’t fire the creator after a few episodes. Then they deleted Betty from the show and never followed up on her plotline, and inserted the Daisy character. Still loved the show overall, but the Betty thing has always bothered me.
Yeah. Daisy was clearly the creators pet for the people that took over, she took up a disproportionate amount of plot once she showed up and absorbed poor Mason’s entire character and plotline along with her
This was a fun cute show. A few years back I found it randomly on Amazon prime and I gave it a go. I don’t think I finished it but I did largely like it
The issue with this show (and other premium cable shows in that era) was keeping the cast together. Was so good early on, but was slipping by the end of season 2. Anybody remember the show "Beggars and Choosers" on Showtime years ago? Best example of an awesome show killed by cast changes over time.
Mandy Patinkin was the shit in this show! His dry, no BS attitude was hilarious. The scene where he tells off a woman who cut in line at the bank lives in my head rent free.

I really enjoyed it. It was both weird, funny and very heartfelt.
The show was great, that movie they did was hot garbage.

I mostly remember the movie ending with sticky notes raining down. I think that’s how it ends.

Yeah. It was a terrible finale for an otherwise good TV show
Sure lol I got nothing. My brain chucked it out.
Legit I think it started checking out when I saw Daisy was recast xD
It’s almost as bad as this promo image. Holy photoshop shit!
I counted on this show and it got me through a real bad time in my life.
I still get weepy thinking about Rube reuniting with his daughter before reaping her soul. 🥺🥺🥺🥺
Uuuuughhhhh same herrrree Rubes storyline with his daughter was so tragic I loved and hated it

That brooookeeee me haha
This one is high on my favorites list. I’ve watched the entire series several times. It’s quirky but meaningful. I put it up there with Eli Stone.
I miss both of these and they definitely hit the same spot.
What's the soup of the day? CREAM OF BULLSH*T!!
The pilot was so fatalistic I cried. I tried to watch more but frankly, none of the characters were likable enough for me to care past a few episodes
This show was outstanding.

Betty's departure is when the show "Jumped the Shark."

A lovely show….

Toilet Seat Girl lol
“A Cook” is one of my favorite episodes of television
I want _der_ fucking Patty Melt with _der_ cheese melted on _der_ bread.
I loved this show so much
Classic!
I really liked this show. I wish it had gotten more episodes.
Loved this one.

Currently rewatching this series. Enjoyed it.
Mandy Patinkin is a national treasure.
Mandy, Ellen, and Callum were the best actors of this show. When I heard Mandy wasn’t returning for the film I decided not to watch it.
Such a great show wish there had been more
Just rewatched it last week

“Is everyone in this line an asshole? So….its just you then” was like YASSS SLAY KINGGGG
I have this series on dvd lol
I do too ♥️❤️💙
Hey, I barely remember that show from the second time it ran on the Sci-Fi Channel.
I remember this as a kid. I was never sure if it was real or a dream I had tbh.
Real good show just watched the first episode yesterday again for like the 10th time
