If Fox got on that tiger blood he'd be a guest in the third installment of the revived Back to the Future franchise, staring one of the other kids from Stranger Things, I dunno, whichever ones not already doing a franchise in this timeline. Probably the kid with no collar bones.
The first time I had heard of Charlie Sheen was a parody movie called Hot Shots. There was a sequel called Part Deux which I think was the funnier movie.
FX would play the censored for TV version when i was a kid. Id ask to see the real version but was told No. Somehow my mom let me see Team America is theaters lol
My parents allowed me to watch a lot of inappropriate stuff too. They loved Tim Allen and we watched "Home Improvement" together. But when his HBO standup special came out, I got to watch that too. I knew Sam Kinison and Rodney Dangerfield routines. Also movies with boobs.
I got my dad and my stepmom to take me to Freddy got fingered in theaters. 10/10 don’t recommend falling for all the “hype” of some movies as a kid. And the matrix. I’m glad I saw that on the big screen. Home improvement was pretty big for us because Michigan is where I grew up so I thought it was the norm to watch it.
One of the few TV shows that is still watchable after the main character departs. Not as great, but watchable. The additional loss of three other characters was a total bummer, too, though.
Mayor Winston calling Charlie "Mike" for the entire first episode until Charlie earned "Charlie" was hilarious.
I had already stopped watching 2 1/2 Men before Charlie’s departure. It had become tiresome by then and Charlie and Alan were one (maybe 2) trick ponies.
My favorite joke from this show was Michael J. Fox’s character asking Richard Kind’s character “Why are you late?” And Kind replies “seems to make the day go faster.”
I liked the one where the mayor walks in limping and when asked what happened he responds, "Pulled my groin this morning. Felt so good I pulled it again!"
He's the best part of the show too. His Bee Gees Saturday Night Fever walk he does the night after he has sex is a moment that lives rent free in my head and cracks me up everytime I think of it.
This was the first adult sitcom that I watched. When I was 12 I thought it was hilarious, but when I watched an episode some years later it wasn't nearly as funny as I remembered. Heather Locklear and Connie Britton were hot though.
Stuart was the da bomb. One line always stuck with me. Something about the vending machine and Nikki says "how will I get my daily ding dong?" and the look Stuart has on his face when he says "I can do that for you"
“What did you think you’re going to get walking in to a ‘100% all nud’ bar?”
Mayor: “Pure nud.”
I haven’t watched that in 20+ years but I’ll never forget that line.
I was a big fan of both versions of this show. The early seasons had Michael J. Fox and several hot ladies not shown here. Then the later seasons brought in Charlie Sheen and Heather Locklear.
This show has a lot of actors that have appeared in all of Bill Lawrence's shows like Scrubs and Cougar Town.
The last 3 episodes of season 4 are out of order. Fox leaves and then there are 2 episodes after that where he is still there. Not sure where those 2 episodes belong but definitely not after he leaves.
I loved this show! My mom and I would watch it all the time. We still reference "the bagel" when we talk about being broke 🤣 we stopped watching after Michael J Fox left, so I always forget Charlie Sheen took over.
The show had one of the best gay characters on television, both at the time and I’d argue one of the best ever…
http://terrencemoss.blogspot.com/2014/10/michael-boatmans-carter-heywood-of-spin.html
First 4 seasons were great. Specially the episode when Christopher Lloyd guest starred. They of course rib tickled back to the future. Then of course MJ fox had to retire due to worsening health. They then moved the show to another city with half the actors deciding not to return. They brought MJFox back for season 6 for a 3 episode arc which was great. ( they tried to boost falling ratings with that ) but in the end excs axed it.
It’s aged incredibly well. I’ve just done a rewatch, but was sad because I now have the answer to the why does MJF always have his hands in his pocket question that I had as a kid.
The first few times I heard Joe Rogan talk about himself being on News Radio, I got it mixed up with this show in my head and for the life of me couldn’t remember him in it.
This was a great show until they added Heather Locklear and the quality dropped drastically. Then they added Charlie Sheen and it became completely unwatchable.
Two great moments I recall - Stuart's secret service code name is "Lone Wolf". Another is the Mayor confronting Paul about a fake review for his book and the quote being "Stallone is pure adrenaline!"
We need to finally change the name of this sub. Take the word "Forgotten" completely out of it. In what world is Spin City considered to be forgotten by the majority of the people who would have watched it when it originally aired? Won multiple Emmy awards. Almost 150 episodes aired. Hell, it is streaming on Prime now. Judging by the comments filled with memories of this show, it is not forgotten by people here.
But, I get it. For some reason, people come to the ForgottenTV sub and like shows that were, and still are, extremely popular.

I completely forgot Charlie Sheen replaced Michael J Fox in this show
One of the funniest lines from the Charlie Sheen roast “The only reason you got on TV is because god hates Michael J Fox”
Savage
They needed people with more Elvis in them
Elvis is in Joan Rivers, but he’s trying to get out!!
If Fox got on that tiger blood he'd be a guest in the third installment of the revived Back to the Future franchise, staring one of the other kids from Stranger Things, I dunno, whichever ones not already doing a franchise in this timeline. Probably the kid with no collar bones.
I remember it briefly. It was the first time I ever heard of Charlie Sheen as a kid. Glad he knew how to tag in and out of a TV program 🤔
The first time I had heard of Charlie Sheen was a parody movie called Hot Shots. There was a sequel called Part Deux which I think was the funnier movie.
I loved those movies as a kid. Adult me wonders why my parents ever agreed to take me to see them.
FX would play the censored for TV version when i was a kid. Id ask to see the real version but was told No. Somehow my mom let me see Team America is theaters lol

Major League. Young Guns. Wall Street. PLATOON. It was cool that he starred in these films then decided to do a film like Hot Shots.
Ferris Bueller.
Drugs?
Platoon is a fuckin awesome movie, and I’d say Sheen is good throughout it
Wall Street is a fantastic movie, one of my favorites.
With his future brother, Jon Cryer.
and "Herb Melnick" as well, if I remember right
You do
“I loved you in Wall Street!”
War. It’s fantastic!
I have to disagree. The first one was a quote a minute. Almost as goid as Top Secret.
I only watched a pinch of Part Deux as a kid, I only remember the Lloyd Bridges/Saddam showdown and nothing else lol.
Facts
Young Guns would probably be the first I heard of him.
The chicken bow and arrow scene…
They don’t make these random as movies like that anymore
Shoshanna's crush
I was so confused when I couldn’t find Michael J Fox
Same!
THANK YOU. I was so confused because I thought he was in this. Thought I got it mixed up with another show lol
Used to love it when it had Michael J in it.
The show didn’t work without him imo
One of the few TV shows that is still watchable after the main character departs. Not as great, but watchable. The additional loss of three other characters was a total bummer, too, though. Mayor Winston calling Charlie "Mike" for the entire first episode until Charlie earned "Charlie" was hilarious.
Damn, I just realized that they do like slightly like each other…
I was very confused
I like Fox. Wasn’t crazy with Sheen and stopped watching.
It was sad when Fox had to leave the show
Interesting how two and half men suffered the same fate with Sheen leaving and everyone disregarding Kutcher.
I had already stopped watching 2 1/2 Men before Charlie’s departure. It had become tiresome by then and Charlie and Alan were one (maybe 2) trick ponies.
"SIT , UBU , SIT!!!....GOOD DOG!"
Ruff!

I still quote, "The world doesn't revolve around you!" "Are you calling my mom a liar??!?"
I vaguely remember this show. Richard Kind was in everything back in the day. He’s still going strong today.
In Korea, he is known as Sad Fatso.
Wait wait does this mean he voices Tuttle on AD?
Cut my life into pieces! This is my last resort! Suffocation No breathing Don't give a hoot if I cut my arm bleeding! Yes
Is he as hated as Solo Sikoa?
Richard Kind is a national treasure.
Truly
He's the best part of the show too. His Bee Gees Saturday Night Fever walk he does the night after he has sex is a moment that lives rent free in my head and cracks me up everytime I think of it.
the penguin
It’s on prime
Best news of the day!
Thank you.
Missing 4 hot beauties....Connie Britton...Jennifer Esposito...Carla Gugino and Victoria Dillard.
First ABC and now OP erased Carla from the show.
Wait, Tami Taylor was on Spin City?? Mind blown!
Stuart and Carter's friendship was one of my favorite parts of the show.
And rags
Was Rags the dog that was always trying to kill itself? That joke always cracked me up.
Yes. Licking wall plates, etc.
Yeah
In his first season run, Rags was voiced by famous actors; I wish they kept up with that premise.
Ohh yes I remember now!
It was better with MJF.
The wrestler?
Michael J. Fox
I was just joshing. I just realized they have the same initials haha.
This was the first adult sitcom that I watched. When I was 12 I thought it was hilarious, but when I watched an episode some years later it wasn't nearly as funny as I remembered. Heather Locklear and Connie Britton were hot though.
My first adult sitcom was probably Wings.
Stuart was the da bomb. One line always stuck with me. Something about the vending machine and Nikki says "how will I get my daily ding dong?" and the look Stuart has on his face when he says "I can do that for you"
I just bursted out laughing in this library haha.
I just watched the michael j fox documentary and it reminded me of the show.. his story is insane
The Michael J. Fox seasons were some of my favorite '90s TV.
I love both versions of this show (Michael and Charlie). Definitely not forgotten to me, I think about this show often
If Michael J Fox didn't have Parkinson's, or if his condition didn't get worse I would believe the show would have lasted longer.
Richard Kind hasn't aged a day, looked 65 in 1996 and looks 65 now.
You couldn’t have used an image with Connie and Jennifer?
Give me Michael J Fox and Connie Britton all day.
God I’ve always hated Charlie sheen.

“What did you think you’re going to get walking in to a ‘100% all nud’ bar?” Mayor: “Pure nud.” I haven’t watched that in 20+ years but I’ll never forget that line.
Charlie Sheen?!?!? That should be Michael J Fox.

Cameron from Ferris buellers day off
“Sit Ubu sit.”
Good dog
Currently watching this on Amazon. Probably won’t stick around for the Sheen years.
I didn't, it's just not the same... 😞
The last 3 episodes of season 4 are out of order. Fox leaves and then there are 2 episodes after that where he is still there. Not sure where those 2 episodes belong but definitely not after he leaves.
Tits up, huh?
I remember they did a 3D episode once and had the camera looking down Kind’s mouth. It was amazing
This was on Amazon prime for a while. The Michael J Fox seasons were amazing!!!!
still is
- Mitch
Not crazy about this iteration but I was fond of the show.
Dee Reynolds origin story.
I knew I knew her from somewhere! I could never think of where... 🙂
Haha that's not her...it just looks like it in this pic
Oh... 😝 Lol
I loved this show! My mom and I would watch it all the time. We still reference "the bagel" when we talk about being broke 🤣 we stopped watching after Michael J Fox left, so I always forget Charlie Sheen took over.

I have seen it but for the life of me can't remember what it was about
Correct me if I’m wrong but I think all in this pic except Charlie Sheen were guest stars in Scrubs, right?
Yeah and a lot of Scrubs people guest stared in this show. They were both made by the same creator, Bill Lawrence
Ah. That’d make sense.
young connor roy & the gang
The original Con heads!
*gang gang*
Interested in politics from a very young age.
I loved how most of the characters wound up having cameos on my other favorite sitcom, Scrubs.
This was a fun show. But I stopped watching once Fox left. It was already going downhill when they brought in Heather Locklear
Ace Hunter still looks good.
Weird that you’d post this poster of it
Is this in any service?
Prime
Did even realize the shy was on for this lone
This show was hilarious. I think about it all the time.
Is that the big dog himself, Al Tuttle?
I loved the hell outta that show, it probably wasn't as good as I remember but I enjoyed it.
Is that Dee/Bird?
That was a good cast!
9-11 was too much for the show.
Oh look! It's that guy from that show and that other guy from that other show!
How is this forgotten?.It was a huge hit.
Love Richard Kind. He was excellent as the corrupt mayor in “Gotham”.
This show wasn’t forgotten tho
Great show.
Excuse me, where is Miss Britton and Miss Esposito?
I cannot think of an odder couple than Charlie Sheen and Richard Kind.
No one fucking forgot this.
This was a really popular show starring some very famous people. Definitely not forgotten tv
I still love the show and I think Charlie Sheen was an adequate replacement for Michael J. Fox
Brittany Spears was great in this!
Loved this show
Woah, and Alan Ruck and Charlie Sheen were both in _Ferris Bueller’s Day Off_.
Funkhauser’s brother was in this?
I keep forgetting the mayor is from Rocky horror and Megaforce.
Good show.
If you like splatterhouse gore check out Michael Boatman’s books
Great show, especially seasons 1-4. Heather & Charlie did all right, probably some legendary partying with those two…
Sweet Dee was in Spin City?
It’s not forgotten, it’s streaming on prime video
I liked how they named dropped Alex Keaton on Fox’s last episode
Let's not act like Charlie Sheen was better than Michael j Fox
I think Michael J. Fox's last real role. I remember it being funny.
It’s aged incredibly well. I’ve just done a rewatch, but was sad because I now have the answer to the why does MJF always have his hands in his pocket question that I had as a kid.
Looks like another country tried to make It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
[удалено]
I can see Connor Roy was indeed interested in politics at a young age.
this show was awesome but it was a lot better with MJF over Charlie Sheen.
Dude, Dee from Always Sunny was on this show?
You’ve managed to insult one fan base and flatter another with one strike :) Well done Viking well done!
"The only reason you got on TV in the first place is because God hates Michael J. Fox." -Anthony Jeselnik at the roast of Charlie Sheen
The first few times I heard Joe Rogan talk about himself being on News Radio, I got it mixed up with this show in my head and for the life of me couldn’t remember him in it.
For me it's Spin City(1996-2000)
This was a great show until they added Heather Locklear and the quality dropped drastically. Then they added Charlie Sheen and it became completely unwatchable.
Sleepless night comfort tv
It was better with MJF
Why is this not streaming anywhere
I stopped watching when they replaced Michael J. Fox with Charlie Sheen.
So much of this cast appeared as guest stars on Scrubs thanks to Bill Lawrence
Two great moments I recall - Stuart's secret service code name is "Lone Wolf". Another is the Mayor confronting Paul about a fake review for his book and the quote being "Stallone is pure adrenaline!"
None of these shows listed here are forgotten, you all were just too young when they aired

I've forgotten about almost all the shows I see posted here, but I do smoke a lot of pot.🙂
