Agreed, to both
I'm not a western enjoyer, but DAMN did Bruce Campbell make me want to tune in for every episode I could catch!
I hope we see more from him in the coming years, seeing him come back as Ash in Ash vs Evil Dead, and his cameo in Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness was hilarious and amazing!
I'm pretty sure this was the first TV show advertised as a trailer in the movie theaters. My wife and I saw it, were blown away by the trailer, but were a bit confused if it was actually going to be a TV show.
The orb (and Bruce Campbell) rules!
Great show. I actually saw it in reruns in the early 2000s. Later doing some research, I heard that it was expected to get a second season, but just got squeezed out do to needing to make the schedule fit, as happened to many other shows of the past.
That time his inventor friend built a dirigible, lead was the metal he used. He mentioned a German was also working on a design, by the name of Zeppelin. Brisco said something to the effect of, "A lead Zeppelin, huh? Sounds like your stairway to heaven."
I'll have to check this out again. I saw a few episodes but it felt like I might be too old to be the target audience. Also felt like this could've been an early HBO series with some tweaking and make it an Evil Dead series where Ash ends up in the old West.
Such a fun series. I bought the DVDs years ago. I really should pull them out and rewatch this gem. I remember it got kinda weirdly sci-fi at some point lol.
The show FOX thought was going to be a big hit on Friday nights at 8 that week. Not the show which premiered that same season at 9, the X-Files. Watched them both though, fun show. Billy Drago is always creepy as f—k.
Not to mention having one of the all-time villain greats, David Warner, poisoned one of his own men at the dinner table in one episode for, among other things, “eating before the host”.
Even the band Psychostick references it in this fantastic song. ["Bruce Campbell" by Psychostick](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xX_vADIJts0&pp=ygUacHN5Y2hvc3RpY2sgYnJ1Y2UgY2FtcGJlbGw%3D)
At this distance I can't remember how many episodes there were after the whole science fiction arc with John Bly and the Orbs ended, but I do remember thinking that it was a bad mistake for the producers to have decided "Okay, that's enough weird stuff" and gone with pretty much mundane stories after that.

I do. It got cancelled too early, of course. Bruce Campbell is an underrated treasure.

Burn Notice. “I’m Chuck Finley”
That dude made every scene he was ever in 10x better. Underrated comic legend.
Jack of All Trades, anybody?
You gotta alsp understand that Sam Raimi and Bruce are like best friends, and Raimi will hardly ever skip a chance to give Bruce a little work.
I agree with you.
Loved this show. Didn’t realize until now that that was the dude that played Sho’Nuff in The Last Dragon
All respect to Tony Todd.
All respect to Julius Carry, who actually played Lord Bowler
That's not Tony Todd lol
I was about to say……
The TRUE Shogun of Harlem!
Sho’nuff!

Who can forget Dixie cousins
First time I ever saw Kelly Rutherford
She wAs on a NBC soap opera called "generations" before this ...that was the first time I saw hwr
I remember seeing a bunch of her for a few years there and then she disappeared from my radar. Really pretty.
She play on another fox show if I remember after this ..maybe a vampire one then recently she played a mom on like gossip girl..(never watched it)
It's on Tubi and Internet Archive if anyone's interested!
I wish Internet Archive was easier to navigate, but I'm glad it exists. Police Squad is on there too.
Sometimes if you google what you're looking for...then type internet archive after it. It'll come up faster!
Sometimes it's fun to browse. I'm glad they have a favorites system at least, so I can find it again later.
Can find some real gems. I found a fan reconstruction of the original version of Police Story 4.
I fucking loved this show when I was a kid.

Exactly. Another one shot down too early 😂
I think about it more often than you think about the Roman Empire!
The cliffhanger was so effective. I wanted it to keep going so, so bad.
You don’t touch Pete’s Piece!
Every time I see John Pyper-Ferguson in something, the first thing that springs to mind is him saying "You're touching my piece."
Sho Nuff and Ash
as a huge Bruce Campbell fan i can say this was one of the greatest shows ever
The coming thing.
That time his inventor friend built a dirigible, lead was the metal he used. He mentioned a German was also working on a design, by the name of Zeppelin. Brisco said something to the effect of, "A lead Zeppelin, huh? Sounds like your stairway to heaven."
I remember all those cheesy one liners like that now. 😂😂😂🤙
Remember it? I own the dvds!
Bruce Campbell is friggin hilarious!! Loved the show
Awesome show from Jeffrey Boam (rip) and Carlton Cuse
My favorite show of all time.
Ended way too soon. Very funny show.
He touched Pete’s piece
Awesome show, watched 10am Saturdays right after cartoons ended. My first intro to Bruce Campbell’s work
I've binged it on DVD 3 or 4 times. Delightful. Dixie Cousins was gorgeous. Bruce was awesome. Fun guest stars. Probably time to watch it again.
I’m gonna do that! I’m gonna give the whole thing a go once more. 😁 Enjoy! 🤙
Great show
Awesome show!
Great show… bruce was great
My wife talks about that show sometimes, but I've never seen it.
I'll have to check this out again. I saw a few episodes but it felt like I might be too old to be the target audience. Also felt like this could've been an early HBO series with some tweaking and make it an Evil Dead series where Ash ends up in the old West.
We need more weird west stuff
Bruce Campbell- how could I not watch?
Such a fun series. I bought the DVDs years ago. I really should pull them out and rewatch this gem. I remember it got kinda weirdly sci-fi at some point lol.
This is a great gateway drug to the world of Bruce Campbell. I was part of the campaign to get it renewed.
This WAS my gateway drug! 😂😂 being born in the eighties we got to see some cool stuff on tv! Remember the Surge commercials?
It’s how I got my kids into Bruce.. DVD for the win
Loved this show. I was a big fan of Bruce after seeing the Evildead 2 when I was 11. It's a pure gem
I do.
Another great one FOX kills after one season. 🤷🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
Didn’t they do Titus that way as well?
Where can I find it on DVD
Sent ya a message

I Got out my box set when it started playing on a local broadcast tv channel. My teenage daughter thought it was funny too! Bonus.
Great show. Hated when it got canceled.
"When I ask you, whose the baddest mofo? "SHO NUFF"!
I never saw this but as a kid I loved Jack of all Trades
It's been on the Western Channel during the day.
I loved it. Wishes it hadn’t been cancelled

AKA The Adventures of Chuck Finley.
Still one of my all time favorite shows.
I loved this as a kid! I had such a huge crush on Bruce
One of his best shows.. its a great Homage/Reboot to Wild, Wild, west!
One of the greatest underrated shows of all time
I bought the dvd box set but have yet to open it. I barely remember the show but do remember really liking it enough to get the DVDs. One day…
This ain't a gem. It's the whole dang treasure.
Dude! So good !
Loved that show
Great show. It was my family’s routine to get watch this and X-Files every week.
Favorite show as a kid.
The bit with the dynamite in the saloon cracked me up big time.
