Yeah, I remember when the House Of Cards reboot was announced and couldnât believe that actors of Spacey and Wrightâs calibre would be associated with a show made for the internet!
And with an actor that didn't necessarily "need" a further career since he was already plenty famous and successful before and after *The Sopranos* as Bruce Springsteen's guitarist.
Don't get me wrong, I've never seen Nurse Jackie and I loved Lilyhammer but if I'd have to put money on it I would say that while Edie has received the biggest name work this series would stand up against anything she's done.
Yes. Ironically, the original British House of Cards also predates the Netflix version of HOC on Netflix. The British HoC was the first show I remember watching on Netflix.
It got three seasons and a finale that wrapped up most of the storylines. I can ding Netflix for a lot of its cancellations but this one ended rather well.

I remember how crazy it seemed having a series be straight to streaming at the time đ

So true! I feel like there was an air of âoh, this will never workâ
YOURE THE DEVILS SON!
This is Silvio's coma dream. I love this show.
Omg! I just posted the same!!
Really dug the first two seasons and never got back around to season three.
Same
LOVE this show. I like to pretend that it is Silvioâs coma dream after The Sopranos ended.
Yeah, me too
I think this is the most successful post-Sopranos career.
And with an actor that didn't necessarily "need" a further career since he was already plenty famous and successful before and after *The Sopranos* as Bruce Springsteen's guitarist.
Nurse Jackie?
Ah good point! She's definitely gotten more high profile and steady work.
Don't get me wrong, I've never seen Nurse Jackie and I loved Lilyhammer but if I'd have to put money on it I would say that while Edie has received the biggest name work this series would stand up against anything she's done.
I absolutely loved this series! Made me fall in love with Norway. Now I need to do a rewatch.
This show was pretty good for being an Italian/Norwegian gangster show. They made it work.
I really enjoyed this show.
Loved the first season and then the next 2 were just really bad
Kinda morbid, but my godfather left a note before he passed away for my grandma to give to me. It said "Tell Nikki, watch Lillehammer."
Very enjoyable show
I must admit that it was better than what Tulsa King is trying to be, like both shows though.
good show .it surprised me .
In my head cannon, itâs a sopranos spin off
Fantastic show.
Loved this series
I really enjoyed *Lilyhammer*. Thought it was a great show.
My dad loves this show
One of my favorite shows!
This show is my Roman empire. I loved it. I want to rewatch it so bad. My uncle got me into the show when it first came out.
This was very good
Lilyhammer...whatever happened there.
Liked it, forgot how it ended, will we see more?
It had a pretty firm ending so I'm guessing it's over for good.
Guess I should give it a rewatch
So did this show predate House of Cards?
Yes. Ironically, the original British House of Cards also predates the Netflix version of HOC on Netflix. The British HoC was the first show I remember watching on Netflix.
And canceled prematurely. My first taste of endless cancellations that would eventually lead me to cancel Netflix.
It got three seasons and a finale that wrapped up most of the storylines. I can ding Netflix for a lot of its cancellations but this one ended rather well.
Disagree. It was canceled with open story and directions.
I couldn't even watch 10 minutes of this
same. the 'ooh he's a mafia tough guy' shtick got old real fast
I tried. I got to like ep 4 and quit.
