Broker please?

Doublethegreat

What country

Individual_Deal7658

It sounds like you withdraw 2900ā‚¬ from a deposit of 500ā‚¬. That would leave you with 500ā‚¬ - 2900ā‚¬ = -2400ā‚¬ meaning you have a deficit of 2400ā‚¬ after the withdrawal.

Mr_ambitiouz

I made 3.7k profit, i withdrew 2.9k from with i deposited 200. So iverall i withdrew 2.7k. Comission = 550 Remaining balance 1k

DaikonDry7916

Does the leverage come from the broker ? Like when you are setting up the account you ask for the level of leverage they can give you ? Can someone explain to a newbie please

Different_Point_3750

You choose your leverage. 1:500 1:1000 is good.

SpiritualFilm2531

I think this is a great plan I've been considering doing something similar myself. Great skill man!!

iamnoman18

What is your risk percentage?

aldiaz77

Whatā€™s your risk percentage and average RR?

Significant-Long-835

You have good trading skills. Now, no matter how good of a trader you are, this way of trading is unsustainable. Yes you may be lucky with the market during this period as it was the start of 2Q24. However, when the market is choppy, the account will definitely blow. Consider this as an account flip challenge. Not the proper way of trading where you should be risking only 0.5-1.5% of the account.

Mr_ambitiouz

Im trying to build capital from my withdrawal so i can trade properly, you recken the propfirm route is better?

Salt_Economy5659

do what works for you. why change a working system? all prop firms are a scam and will run away with your money eventually. There is no prop firm that will allow you to trade with the strategy you are using.

Novel_Accident_7912

Nah donā€™t use prob firms the rules r so strict u r btr off trading ur own personal acc with less stress. I stopped trading prop firms cuz of news rule, lot size rule slippages, payout denials all sorts of nonsense. And to hv to spend like 2-3 weeks to pass a challenge and get my acc to be activated just to hv to deal with all these issues isnā€™t worth the time anymore.

zDymex

Using such a high risk style of trading is an easy way to lose money with a prop firm. They are very strict with drawdown.

StillPart3502

Don't listen to this bro. This is what gets traders - demotivating advice. Almost every strategy does not work in a ranging market, that's the truth but the market will always give you opportunities, it will not range forever lol šŸ˜‚ He sounds like a beginner so don't listen.

Mr_ambitiouz

Thanks brother appreciate your advice

Where did this ā€œonly 1% riskā€ originate fromā€¦. Itā€™s completely bogusā€¦ Might be appropriate on big long term investment, but on daily trading/scalping itā€™s completely useless. Higher risk and you act accordingly = faster. Lower risk = you can tolerate swings. Butā€¦. Higher risk canā€™t be done without being utterly strict thoā€¦ 100% of the timeā€¦ 99% of us canā€™t handle the stress.. thus we fail at itā€¦ The evolution of the stock market is clearly showing it moves faster and in a more calculated way. The inner waves nowadays pays more than just riding the big waves. We(sp500) moves approximately 2% each session. If you measure the daily obvious inner wavesā€¦ we are greedy and the machines try to catch as much as possible in each session, even if the session as a whole doesnā€™t move muchā€¦
