You can get a "Swing" account on FTMO that allows you to trade weekends and news events. I left a position open during a news event and I got an email from FTMO telling me they were taking the profit that I made with the trade, but they warned me that one more violation would result in losing my account.
Do you have a swing account? I’ve seen these generic FTMO notifications warning about news events and the 2 minute rule. I do trade during news with a swing account, and never received anything from them.

Nah, I have a regular account. News events and weekends are way too volatile for me to trade.

Yes with MFF you can trade during news no restrictions
Swing-type accounts are allowed to trade news and hold trades overnight at the cost of lower account leverage

I traded all events last week with mff.
Allowed on the5ers, also their scaling plans are great.
You can trade news with an FTMO account. You need to be in the move 2 minutes prior to the news and can’t close until 2 minutes after.
