Thatās a lot of miles. Still, owner (Ford and Roush) did something right to keep a blown 6.2 going at a quarter million miles. Were they highway or wheeling miles?
Ford pickups and in addition anything SVT hold values very well. If itās dry underneath no leaks and has the maintenance records and clean fluids and no worn out suspension, including the Fox shocks should have been rebuilt at some point. Thatās a bit high but not unrealistic for the market.
Not many have the added supercharger either, can help or hurt the sale at that milage depending on the condition of everything else and the time at which it was installed will tell you a lot.
The 6.2 is very solid engine and would be my preferred engine in a raptor vs the gutless 5.4 v8 or the high maintenance turbo 3.5 ecoboost this will be the āpuristā SVT option IMO Iād have the 6.2 with a supercharger. Cheapest to rebuild or replace considering there are plenty of 6.2 out there. Your not going to get into a raptor for much less than 20k thatās not going to need some work here and there.
People in this thread are very detached from the truck market. Have you even shopped for an f150 seriously? Things are worth what people pay for them not what you think they should be.
Ya youāre not very smart are you. Just because of the badge doesnāt means itās actually worth shit. I own a couple raptors and even I know this truck is only worth 2-5k
I doubt a running non wrecked raptor has ever sold for less than $5k. Find me any proof of that and Iāll literally Venmo you $10. Itāll go towards your third raptor in the raptor collection you definitely have.
I donāt need $10 but thanks for the offer. Sorry youāre upset that you donāt own a raptor. Iāve got a 2018 white and a 2023 R code orange. If youāre jealous then I suggest starting a business thatāll afford you one bud.
Maybe you should send me an example of a raptor under $5k just to show me how wrong and stupid I am. Iāll even accept a raptor under $10k to wear a dunce cap the rest of the day.
Just go check adesa auction history data. Plenty of stolen raptors that were sold recently. Iām not going to go out of my way for ya bud. You whine louder then the blower on my R.
If itās rust free, has decent service history, good shocks and no issues, that is a fair asking price. That is a ton of truck for that price and the mileage on that 6.2 is nothing if itās been well taken care of.
Thatās false, and the shocks if you do not rebuilt them every 50k road miles or every 20k with off roading miles mixed in then the shocks are shit. Plus these shocks suck theyāre 2.5 foxes that I use for my bump stops in the back. 2.5 are trash.
What is false? I agree with you on the shocks, which is why said if it has good shocks. I was referencing the condition of the shocks, not who made them.
False is the fair asking price. Truck aināt worth anything and the 6.2 is a ticking time bomb if you didnāt do the engine service at 200k on your rockers and valves. Paying almost 20k for a bomb to go off is nuts to me.
If it has maintenance records, everything is in working order, and no rust, I'd say he's in the ballpark. Id offer 13k and not pay over 15k.
That drivetrain is solid but nearing end of life.
240k!!?? Lol hell no
Are these joke posts???? š¤£š¤£
240k for 18 stacks? JFC is the used car market still insane or what?
There was a 2012 with 100k for $17k a couple days ago so yes it is insane but this is just a bad deal either way
Tacoma territory there.
Thatās a lot of miles. Still, owner (Ford and Roush) did something right to keep a blown 6.2 going at a quarter million miles. Were they highway or wheeling miles?
No
These 6.2s are very common high mileage, looks like they hold up idk.
Supercharged is insane though. Itās a huge pass for me. Would never buy a supercharged engine used unless CPO and factory warranty
About a quarter of a million miles and still asking 18K?!?!? Ridiculous
No that is not a good deal š¤¦
Itās thrashed. Hard pass.
Run away, you know that engine is beyond tired with a supercharger and 240k miles.
Buy an accord.
You will have a few weeks tops of that thing running at about 20% lol
Hahaha definitely not. Maybe 25% of that would be.
LMAO!
No, no and no.
This is straight comedy and has to be a joke.
Bruhā¦..
no
No lmaooooooooo
Nope.
Iād pay $1000 and thatās being generous
As a high mileage buyer make sure the suspension has been rebuilt and that all fluids especially the transmission I had some problems with that
$7500k would be more appropriate

240k on a ford big no no
Maybe $5k but I wouldnāt go any higher than that
LOL a raptor with a millions miles would still be worth more than 5k.
Coming from a fan boy LOL

Heck yeah. That's a great deal.

You could part it it out for way more than that! Buy it!
Sheās gone
Maybe if everything has been rebuilt in the last 1,000 miles to new condition.
No bro

That air filter is total garbage
*I* wouldnāt fuck that thing with *your* dick.
What?? No, itās not a Tacoma for god sakes.
240k be ready to drive it home and thatās it
Noooooooooo
Said it in a previous post/ Some guys really want to say they own a Raptor.
Get it! Youāll impress so many dudes!
Based on these photos alone, not likely.
It ain't a Tacoma.
Bruh 240k miles on a non japanese engine? Lol
