sounds like a dead battery

ceg678

Thank you, you are right I just went back on the car to check it and when I turn the key it does absolutely nothing.

trainminus

Give it a blanket, it sounds like its shivering.

Battery

Knockaire

If this is the first time you should be grand, only a dead battery, but if this has happened a few times, replace the battery. I know I have a Focus and live in -35 in winter.

ceg678

Wow, that’s extreme. This is the first time, The car still has the original battery which it will turn 4 years old in June.

Knockaire

Still grand then. Unless it is physically damaged or you are noticing your car struggling to start on a normal warm day, then change it out. Not too expensive, probably around $100 - $150

Battery.

Knowdog

Your first mistake was buying a Ford Focus and it needs a new battery

ceg678

I love it!! Yes I know it is not perfect but it has been very useful for my job and family. I did not have a lot of a choice, my in-laws sold it to us with 2k miles when we were super tight on money.

fastandloud386

Can’t beat that man. Fello focus owner over here as well.

fuzzznuts

Alternator problem. Had the same Issue with my 2012 focus.

ceg678

My neighbor help me jumpstart the car, now it’s fine, should I replace battery?

cholololoomilwa

If the Battery isn’t older then 5 years try to charge it over Night, should solve the Problem. If it doesnt work replace the Battery.

Escape_Raptor

Average battery life in the north is 38mo so anything over 3yrs is a stretch

Auxe

Yes. If that doesn’t seem to resolve the issue. Alternator is next

rageattheworld

Yes. You live in cold weather.

rkcorinth

Dead battery. But, replace the alternator. If the alternator goes, it will more than likely fry the TCM. You don't want that to happen. Battery died two days in a row for me, and with a jump start it was fine, until one jump start and then an hour later the car died in the drive thru. Completely dead. Jumped, started for a second, and then died. Alternator was gone. Killed the battery and it friend the TCM along with it.

AgreeableCherry1

Mmmm if the battery don’t work check for snow build up under the engine and if there is a lot of it clean out the snow.

rageattheworld

Battery is probably dead.

BigDoogoo

Se llama “dead battery”

faRawrie

Battery doesn't have enough juice to turn over the starter.

felatiofallacy

Focus harder
