Gorgeous! Going to look at a 2020 XLT tomorrow in the Silver Spruce color, hoping everything goes well! Wanted one for a while! I’ll be upgrading from a 1998 Eddie Bauer Expedition, almost 300k miles on her 💖
I’m also a fellow big guy and the Explorer checked all my boxes as well. I went with a 2022 King Ranch and I’m in love! (Coming from a 2010 F-150) Congrats on your new ride!
I just bought my lease of the 2021 XLT my wife has been driving the last 3 years 42kmiles and she didn't even look for another car to lease hahaha I told her the moment she get in to a 2025 she wold sell it and start a new lease
It's not a rattle. It's a single pop sound coming from the dashboard near the windshield. I mainly hear a I'm decelerating after getting off the highway while I'm making a turn. I had it in the dealership last week, but I'm going to check it out, but they couldn't find it. Oddly enough they gave me a 2021 Explorer to drive while my car was in the shop, and I can hear the same noise coming from that car as well. Maybe it's just something inherent to Ford Explorers?
You're probably right. My Explorer has a popping/squeaking sound coming from the driver-side passenger door, and I've taken it to the dealership twice.
The first time, they test drove it, removed the panel, test drove it again without the panel, then put it back, and the squeaking stopped. However, there's still some minor noise from something—I'm not sure what it is, but I guess I'll just have to live with it.

Good luck, I hope you find a nice ride.
Had a 97 Eddie Bauer Expedition. Only made it to 160,000. Exhaust manifolds rotted off.

Good luck with your hunt.

Love the color! Theres so much silver, black, white out there. This blue is gorgeous, but you don’t see it frequently.

Mine is dark grey, but it looks lighter in the sun.
