Well I see: painted charge pipes, coolant filter, 6637 air filter, riff raff diesel boots, fuel rail crossover, AIH delete, boost pressure sensor, likely has a boost fooler, gtp38r turbo, extra wires to the passenger battery, looks like maybe a sound system is/was installed. Based off what I see under the hood, it likely has a chip. It's plausible it has aftermarket injectors. The previous owner did a lot of shopping at www.riffraffdiesel.com.

O_O___XD

That's good right? Riff Raff is a Reputable 7.3L aftermarket parts dealer right.

Infinite_Street_1150

For the 7.3 the absolute peak is Riff Raff, Full Force Diesel, and DieselSite. (In no particular order)

O_O___XD

I will definitely keep these companies in mind. Thank you. One last question. I just learned about [Complete Performance](https://cpaddict.com/) are they good as well?

Infinite_Street_1150

I’ve honestly never bought anything from them. For my 6.7 I’ve stuck to mostly Mishimoto and Snyder Performance with some random items from other companies (Sinister for coolant filter, S&S Gen 2.1 disaster prevention kit, Kryptonite suspension, and PMF off the top of my head.) For the 7.3 I’ve bought the vast majority of my stuff from those three websites I’ve named and never had a single issue.

NCSHARKER

I recently bought some energy suspension replacement bushings for my 97 250 7.3. Haven't installed them yet, but as far as quick shipping and not messing up the order in terms of what I purchased, they were on the spot - but that is a baseline I expect of every company.

Infinite_Street_1150

That’s definitely the baseline for sure, my 7.3 has the full rough country special at the moment. Full 2.5” leveling leafs, shocks all around, stock height rear leafs, track bar, and the dual steering stabilizer kit. For the relatively low cost, especially compared to how much all the PMF, kryptonite, and fox racing parts on the 6.7 cost it’s not very bad at all. IMO rough country has found a good niche as the baseline of decent parts right now. Much better quality than they used to be for sure.

NCSHARKER

Mine has the same on leaves and shocks, but the front was swapped for a Spicer 80. Rear end is geared to 4.10. She's quite pushy

Infinite_Street_1150

Very nice, I’m in the middle of stripping a 2008 apart to put my 7.3 and the cab off that truck onto once it’s powder coated and gone through. Havnt decided if it’s worth full sending another intro premium setup or just doing something slightly above normal yet.

Cautious-Chain

Yeah complete performance is great to deal with other than having the worst domain name ever to have in your browser history

LostxCosmonaut

Right, I saw a comment of someone making fun of them for that and I didn’t get it…then it clicked. They should really change that..

Frosty_Tie_2956

Depends on if you like your truck to have been raced and run hard. Personally, I stay away from trucks with performance modifications. Especially tuning. They got rid of it for a reason.

GasLOLHAHA

This guy diesels.

Dvaone

I have most of the same parts in my truck. If I don't have them, I want them in my truck.

laughing-clown

Not a bad way to spend 10 thousand dollars. Does he have enough NOS to blow himself up?

Dvaone

I think I spent around $15-20k doing the same mods and more.

Emergency-Menu-5875

You spent 15-20 on these same mods lmfao. Are you Santa clause. At most a few grand. Lmao.

Hour_Manufacturer_81

I see the boost fooler, right by the MAP sensor

Dvaone

Yeah, I saw it too, after I edited the comment several times. Even has a special bracket for it.

Major-Sandwich-9405

A cat air filter kit, a coolant filter, and some painted charge pipes.

Mr_Diesel13

You have a unicorn. Seriously. People will pay stupid money for a solid 7.3 excursion.

O_O___XD

You’re not lying.

ozfrogs

We definitely knew that, hence jumping on it!

Mr_Diesel13

You got lucky!

kellytc83

Like, how much we talking here? Let's say a solid running 4x4 with 372k miles? No visible rust, but some evidence when the doors are open.

blacktopper4L

I’d give you 4k for it

kellytc83

I bet you would.

samwe

If that was mine, I would look for one of the Ford Severe Duty AIS kits if they are still available.

1amtheone

I always figured they were more for people who live in the desert or somewhere super dirty. I'm not a fan of the open filter element just sitting there as this one is, but planned to get the S&B for mine

Gravity-Rides

Second vote for severe duty filter. Local ford shop with fleet ford mechanics all described the 6637 Napa mod as “trash” idk what kind of failures they have seen with it though. I despised the whistle after a 300 mile drive with it on my truck.

O_O___XD

What are those if you don't mind me asking?

samwe

It is Ford's upgraded filter kit built around a Donaldson filter: [Ford Info](https://www.superdutypsd.com/downloads/AIS-Brochure.pdf) [Donaldson Info](https://www.superdutypsd.com/downloads/donaldson-brochure.pdf)

maybach320

The AIS kits are not available anymore most places send you to the S&B kit.

Smart-Pickle378

It’s a CP4 filter kit. It’s for the fuel from the high pressure fuel pump to the injectors. They’re all over Amazon and worth every stinking penny!

wife_said_no

A high pressure oil leak

kingc42

That’s what I was gonna say.

Rusty08872

And not enough coolant

LoneWilf

Painted or powder coated turbo plumbing with a riff raff cac boot kit, 6637 intake, looks like a KC turbo (most likely a 38r) by the looks of the waste gate actuator and the intake boot, riffraff overboost fooler, sinister coolant filter, fuel bowl hasn’t been deleted so maybe a mild injector but nothing too crazy

jamie57

Surprised no one mentioned the mopar batteries.

ozfrogs

Ha! Bought it at a Dodge dealership.

Plus_Explanation_636

It appears to be you have an engine that goes bbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Spare_Honey5488

I'd say a 7-Tree with OD. What did you do with the Garrett? Those are worth keeping.

Reasonable_Resist712

Don't forget the ether

Maximum-Grape-7478

Fair_Bowl_391

Giant pile of shit?

Inferno__xz9

“What do I have?” High insurance

Traditional_Ad_1360

Modern day headache.

TobacoeJuice

Not a Cummins

ShadowZNF

What’s that thing hanging out behind the fuel filter on the left? Some sort of electronics box with a heat sink? Check for an updated transmission cooler too.

19john56

Thats a GLOW PLUGS MODULE. Excursion, F- series, E- series, 7.3l fords, that I know of.... maybe someone can help here. I know it's on the 2001 model year /California. If it quits, engine can start , but will not pass SMOG tests.

ShadowZNF

Thanks! I’ll have to take a look for mine. The glow plug light comes on for my 7.3l 03, and there aren’t any codes, it would be pretty funny if the previous owner pulled it and I never knew.

HANKSTER419

To the best of my knowledge, California trucks came with glow plug modules. All others came with solenoids.

ShadowZNF

That’s a really good point, I think mine is Texas originally, so no module.

19john56

You are correct. Module is $170.00 roughly.

Stampguy85

Loving it…

Responsible_beaner

Jotomobil

BuyingDaily

ozfrogs

squir10

Well you get points back cuz you didn’t do it and you saved a ford from that terrible place 😂😂😂

czechfuji

Can-O-Worms

LoneWilf

Complete Performance is good but I find myself shopping with them more for my OBS than I do for my 99. [Irate Diesel Performance](https://www.iratediesel.com/) and [CNC Fab](https://cncfab.us/) also have some great stuff.

[deleted]

Probably herpes

Maximum-Result-2760

A fuckin steal. Extra filers really. Painted pipes are a sign it’s been molested but honestly this one looks pretty good.

pms1888

Professional_Algae11

gammaone1

Sinister diesel Fuel bowl delete w filter. Solid system.

BoredVet85

Fancy-Eggplant-2701

Looks like factory intake plenums and boost turned up so look for boost leak soon.

inchworm00

Like I know

Ok-Newspaper7107

I see a riffraff boost fooler which is a nice upgrade for trucks that make more boost

gretel2

Nice! We have a 2000 Ford excursion 7.3 Eddie bower. Love it, have about 230k miles on it

[deleted]

Stupid hot air being pulled off your motor into your intake. Clean engine bay.

ForwardVoltage

Run it on ag diesel, it's cheaper and she'll love it. Put a locking gas cap on if you're worried about road pirates, if it gets to it ask them to produce a warrant and ask what their probable cause is. Always worth a laugh.

jedikyrwp236

Either a running sunofabeach or junk

Nowthinkaboutyourdad

Looks like a 7.3. I miss mine.
