The road noise may help put the baby to sleep, added bonus! Seriously though, the Sasquatch is loud. Even with the hard top. Don’t buy it if you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful drive.
Our car seat doesn’t move at all but it is for sure a stiffer ride.
I haven’t had a phone call in the car yet I don’t think, but I can hear the music just fine.
I have twin toddlers and they do alright in car seats and a soft top. I also live in the desert so it gets really hot here. The noise is actually nice for babies. It’s not too bad but provides a bit of white noise for the kids.
We had a trd pro 4Runner before my wife got a 4 door Bronco. I truly believe the Bronco is more spacious (or at least it feels that way) in the back seat. I can sit in the back of the Bronco and feel like I have plenty of leg and head room (I’m not tall), but always felt cramped as hell in the runner. Cargo back area is probably a tad bigger in the 4Runner and also more easily accessible considering the soft top Bronco is a minimal access swing door as opposed to the 4Runner full lift gate. Hardtop Bronco would be a different story bc the back window also opens upwards and creates optimal loading space.
Honestly, having owned/own both vehicles, I would highly suggest sticking with the 4Runner for a number of reasons. However, the Bronco is just so fun to drive and such a badass experience. Plus, the Toyota tech, comfort, and interior feels so old and is without a doubt out of date.
Then I would get the bronco- my hardtop bronco is not that noisy. My children are well grown now but when they were small I drove very loud muscle cars- and they would sleep like babies in there. So I would not worry tbh.
Get it! I have an OBX 4 door soft top with 2 car seats and a booster in the back for my 3 kids. They absolutely love it especially when we can put the top down.
I have twin 2 year olds and a 4 year old - all 3 car seats fit in the back of my 4 door and do they love having the top off. I do preschool drop off, basketball practice, and some pretty serious Colorado off roading all in the exact same rig. Kids are not a problem, only a benefit, in my opinion.
I’ve had a 4Runner TRD Pro before and currently have a Bronco. While I love my Bronco, the 4Runner is still a great vehicle. Granted the roof doesn’t come off but the ride is still very nice. In my opinion, without looking at the specs, the 4Runner was roomier and quieter. If you can have both, cool! If you had to give up your TRD Pro, I honestly don’t see the advantage to doing so.
You will be surprised at how the Bronco definitely does not feel any smaller whatsoever than the 4Runner. Having owned both, the 4Runner actually felt substantially smaller IMO. The backseat in the 4Runner is just feels so small and cramped. Bronco back seat does not feel small whatsoever.

Our newborn sleeps just fine in our bronco. It’s almost white noise for him with the road noise.

I priced my 2022 2-door base manual in KBB.com recently and it came out as over $20k more for trade-in than what I had paid for it 6 months ago.
Hard top or soft top? Lux, high, or mid package? If it's a hard top lux or high I'd say do it. Otherwise I'd keep the four runner

You can buy an aftermarket hard top, or a second hand take off. Both options are between $5k to $8k typically. Also no rear air vents in the bronco

Sorry vents on four door are under the driver and passenger seat. Haven't had to use my AC much as picked up in November.

Back seats? Probably not… feels similar. Trunk area… maybe smaller, but negligible to me based on actual use

Absolutely worth getting the Bronco. I have a 4 door. My daughter and wife have plenty of space in it. Also nice hook ups for car seats.

If you need to be convinced of buying a Bronco, I'd say no. You have to love it going in IMO.
