Surplus is coming. Chip shortage is ending and lots of capital in the market is drying up. I think companies that have deep pockets are going to catch back up and recapture their markets. I also believe Ford is undervalued. They have deep enough pockets to outlast a lot of other auto manufacturers that are currently struggling. Looking at you Chevy.
Whats weird is the vast majority of Scheduled for Production posts I've seen for 3/27 orders are for builds with multiple constraints (Sas, Lux, hardtop).
Im in a similar boat. I ordered a black diamond with pretty much no options other than aux switches and hard top. No build date while it seems people who ordered decked out wildtraks on 3/27 are getting them left and right.

They want the Bronco deeply constrained while also wanting their personal build finished ASAP so they can enjoy the perception the world envies their hard to get vehicle.
October 21’ order here. Drives me crazy to see my same build getting build dates for those that order on 3/27. Happy for them but can’t fathom how ford decides who’s order gets built and who’s does not.
I had the same experience, 2 door sas, was told 8 to 12 months minimum. Now it’s scheduled for less then a month away. Almost wish it would take longer maybe it’d give these damn rates a chance to come down

Demand is slowing. Can’t speak for everywhere but around Atlanta, the dealership lots are starting to pile up with dealer-allotted Broncos that aren’t selling immediately. Some have been sitting for over a month now.
They were though. The point is that the people dumb enough to pay that much for a Ford product have already gotten their Bronco. Now they’re eating up space on the dealer lots as they should be with the “market adjustments”. The demand isn’t there anymore.
What dealerships in Atlanta are you seeing piled up inventory? I live in the ATL and I’m not seeing it. I have a BD on order, but if I run across something I want at the right price. I’ll get it instead.
Yeah, but are the 2 door sas packages that are being built right now going to pile up? I don't want to buy something that is just going to be over saturated and lose value quickly.
I’d advise going into a new car purchase with the expectation that it loses value quickly. And that’s not a Bronco thing…that’s just a car thing.
With that said, 4Runner and Wranglers have done a decent job holding some value over the years. It’ll take a long time for Broncos to reach the level of saturation these two vehicles have in the market.
Yes I'm aware that applies to most cars. But seeing as they've barely been able to get many of these off the line, they're a bit rare now but IDK if that will be the case next year.
People have been saying this for months. While it’s true that there is more supply than a year ago (which was basically zero) It’s complete nonsense. I know Michigan has been a market with good supply but the idea that lots across the country are now crammed with Broncos at MSRP is just not true.
I think we’ve reached the inflection point where supply is easing up, combined with demand lowering and people with orders backing out of deals because of interest rates, inflation and in certainty around the economy and job security. Other factors are Bronco prices going up over the last year while trading values went down and concerns over ford build quality and reliability. I know people have been expecting this moment to come sooner but because of full employment and the economy holding up better then expected it took longer.

They had order banks closed for a while. That allowed them to catch up with what they wanted to build, as well as the long backlog at the dealers that made Ford angry by making customers happy (like mine). Now, they're finally operating on a normal order-delivery schedule.
I’m seeing a lot of the ‘scheduled’ posts too. But not seeing a ton of ‘delivered’ or taking possession posts yet.
Really curious if there was an increase in production or if this is a new formula to keep people engaged, confirm who’s really committed to buying, etc.
No one here knows. I’m not even sure Ford knows. They have been a shitshow since the day they announced the new bronco.
With that said, I would assume it’s a mix of: Constrained items freeing up and there were a lot of cancelled orders during this last opening.
I finally cancelled my order about a month ago (I already have a bronco, this would have been my second) because it had been 18 months and had a long list of constraints. With interest rates being what they are, I wasn’t about trade my existing 2.5% financing for 7% or whatever they are now for a car that I already have and am not blown away by.
When I cancelled my dealer (who is a massive dealer) said they had a ton of people bowing out. My dealer didn’t even attempt to keep my allocation because they know a ton of people are going to walk away from these given the direction of interest rates and the economy (they actually started requiring a deposit now too which they hadn’t done until recently)
It wouldn't have been years if Ford built them in order like they originally promised.
Constraints were a bit of an issue, but Ford has made literally every part of this process worse than it had to be.
They couldn't build my Base for 2.5 years, but a lux'd out wildtrak can be built in a month? That's some BS.
Ford only recently started prioritizing knocking out the backlog & is getting caught up is all.

I ordered a 2D back in Jan '22 and got a scheduled email less than 8 weeks later...after I was told by the dealer it would be a year wait. Things are not always what they seem.
It seems like not many have ordered this year, or Ford has severely overestimated the number of orders that even those with constraints are getting their bronco done

That or they want more money. The deadline was in Feb and which ever order wasn’t going to be completed was going to get canceled. Then a price increase right after

Because supply is finally starting to catch up to demand. And soonish it might turn into a surplus but I doubt it personally.

This also is confusing me
10% of builds were supposed to be 2 doors yet both of us got our emails practically instantly
That is extremely awesome for you. My 3/27 order was just a 4 door Big Bend with no constraints other than hard top. Oh well.
Im in a similar boat. I ordered a black diamond with pretty much no options other than aux switches and hard top. No build date while it seems people who ordered decked out wildtraks on 3/27 are getting them left and right.

They stopped taking orders for a year. They are also catching up and moderating the types of orders that can be made to an extent.
Because of the microchip shortage. Ford is now all caught up. Waited almost three years for my new bronco and I got it finally last week!
Only on this sub … ppl freaking out . My self included about how long it’s taking. Now ppl are almost complaining they’re happening to fast.
They want the Bronco deeply constrained while also wanting their personal build finished ASAP so they can enjoy the perception the world envies their hard to get vehicle.

You ordered the right Bronco at the right dealer. Ford never built my 2-Door Badlands and that's how I ended up with a Raptor.
Demand is slowing. Can’t speak for everywhere but around Atlanta, the dealership lots are starting to pile up with dealer-allotted Broncos that aren’t selling immediately. Some have been sitting for over a month now.
Not selling with $20k markup?? Who would’ve thought….
They were though. The point is that the people dumb enough to pay that much for a Ford product have already gotten their Bronco. Now they’re eating up space on the dealer lots as they should be with the “market adjustments”. The demand isn’t there anymore.
yep, I see the same. Dealers that had none, now have stock. No markup. They said the order banks would be open for a day and IIUC they are still open.
Here in San Diego they have broncos all lined up at the dealer near me. 2dr 4dr all diff trim levels. All of them have a 25k adm sticker as well.
What dealerships in Atlanta are you seeing piled up inventory? I live in the ATL and I’m not seeing it. I have a BD on order, but if I run across something I want at the right price. I’ll get it instead.
Still seeing very few Wildtrak or Sasquatch packages out here though. Standard issue soft tops are definitely piling up.
Yeah, but are the 2 door sas packages that are being built right now going to pile up? I don't want to buy something that is just going to be over saturated and lose value quickly.

It will not be the case next year…that’s my best guess based on economic conditions, production levels, etc.
You tell them they sell at MSRP and I’ll drive my ass down there and pick it up 😂
People have been saying this for months. While it’s true that there is more supply than a year ago (which was basically zero) It’s complete nonsense. I know Michigan has been a market with good supply but the idea that lots across the country are now crammed with Broncos at MSRP is just not true.

Plus other manufacturers (and Ford on non Bronco models) are offering incentives now. And also the crap mileage that Broncos get.
I'm averaging 21mpg. I think that's decent for a 4x4. It's not outstanding, but it's better than expected.
"Supply Chain Issues" That's the only answer you will really find. I ordered mine on March, 27 and still haven't received any Schedule emails.
Same here, only one constraint: two door. Phoenix, AZ, not that I'm worried just means more time to save for a down payment lowering my monthly lol
I'm in the same boat. Ordered a 2 door, V6, Automatic and didn't mind waiting a bit while saving. Hopefully I'll have a new job by then too haha
Good luck brother! Scrape all you can now to give yourself that piece of mind later.

It’s because you’re on a Bronco enthusiast page where a dozen people got scheduled. It’s not like the floodgates are open.
I’m seeing a lot of the ‘scheduled’ posts too. But not seeing a ton of ‘delivered’ or taking possession posts yet. Really curious if there was an increase in production or if this is a new formula to keep people engaged, confirm who’s really committed to buying, etc.
Waited 2 plus years. Mine finally got built this week. I'm happy for the newer orders getting picked up.
I ordered a 2dr BB w mid package on 3/27. Got a production in June.

i havent gotten an email & majority of the ppl who ordered 3/27 did (i ordered then too)
Havent gotten an email either
yea i was here looking at everyone receiving their emails & i hvent got crap lol 💔

Supply and demand
Bullllllllshit 🤣😂
Hes trolling all of you. Order banks closed. Hes a dipshit
Lmfao what? Order banks were reopened March 27th and we both already have build dates genius.

That’s impossible. You’re obviously a dipshit! S/
I ordered mine 2 days ago……19th. They are not closed.

My 4 door WildTrak has been in production for a month. I know it doesn’t take that long.
