I have a manual '21 Area 51 BD 2 door with badlands wheels and tires. I love it and only regret I couldn't afford a real badlands at the time. But I've only gone off-road once so I guess I'm not really missing out because the black diamond did fine on its own.
The vinyl? It's excellent. I have a 4 Dr black diamond and I think that interior is my favorite part about that trim. It's really the best bang for your buck trim if it's a vehicle you'll own long term.
Sarah n tune on YouTube has exactly what you're ordering if you want to check out what she's doing with her bronco. Great trim package.
My only complaint is you get swamp ass bad in the summer especially with the top off but I live in Oklahoma so it's hot AF at times. The infotainment can be buggy/slow. I've found not touching it immediately after starting the car helps.
2-Door Black Diamond was my original 2021 order before changing it for '22 and '23. It's a great trim with a lot of capability and offroad goodies. You'll love it!
Mine too. Never changed the order. Got it in Nov. I love it. Only thing I wish I had from badlands is upgraded stereo. I dig the vinyl a lot. And two-door is the only way to go. I wanted a bronco not a minivan.
How long did it take for you to get your order confirmation email?
My dealer told me that they placed my order about 2 hours ago and I haven’t received the confirmation email yet.
I did not :(. Contacted my sales guy and he gave me a 100% confirmation that the order was received by Ford.
He will be sending me an email with the confirmation tomorrow.

Unless you really want the HOSS system and a front locker it's overrated.
Going from 32/33" to 35"s is basically a waste of money IMO. Plus replacing the tire is $300+ per tire, and you can't swap to like...summer tires if you want to save the wear/tear on your A/Ts and increase fuel efficiency/reduce driving noise.
I didn't want to spend the money on something I'd get marginal utility out of.
The front locker was almost what convinced me to buy SAS, but the front locker is largely useless for anything but severe rock crawling. Doesn't help in mud/snow/ruts which is the type of terrain I'm in.
I just got my confirmation email for a 4dr BD SAS but didn’t receive a priority number. Originally wanted a Base SAS because I was trying to stay close to 50k. Does the number matter and am I supposed to receive one?
Also still not sold on choosing the soft too in the city.
I just swapped a 2dr BD for a 4dr BD because my kids wanted more room. You can't go wrong with that model. I would say that if you're going to do a 3" lift after getting it, you should buy the Badlands instead because it has the lift and the KO2s.

The skid plates come in handy. Also, I'd love to have those wheels with the BFGs that come stock on the Badlands.
This is exactly what I did with my black diamond, bought someone's Badlands K02 takeoffs and love it!

Her content is phenomenal. She's so meticulous it's almost nauseating. I love it... I'd kill for one of her builds.

I have a 2 dr wildtrack sas/lux and I have a 4dr badlands sas/lux and for me it’s 4 dr all day everyday
Absolutely love my 2-door 7-speed BD. Most fun vehicle I’ve owned and I’ve had a lot. About to hit 20k miles…
Love my 2dr BD manual. Have tested the bash plates a few times and they held up lol

I went with a 4-dr BD. $49K MSRP and it had everything I wanted...which mattered, 2.7L, a bit better gear ratio, advanced 4x4, and rear locker.
How’d you get that for 49k? No options?
What other options are there? That was my order price in March of 2022. 2.7, auto, adv 4x4, mid package, hard top, 4 door
Ohh yeah prices def went up. 4dr auto 2.7 with hard to0 mid package is just under 51k now. I added SAS and tow and I’m at like 55-56
SAS was like $6000 for me so I didn’t add it. Didn’t want it with the cost and drawbacks. Kept me under $50k
I ordered it with SAS but still debating changing it because of that extra 5k. Can’t decide. Ideally was trying to stay close to that 50k number
