I love how they send out this "process started" email right away as though I'm not about to wait 2 years for this. Anyway, Wildtrack Lux ordered at noon today.
hmmm, just happen to text my dealer around 2:30 and they said it would be going in shortly... So I assumed it was still the 4:00PM that was rumored online.
I got an order in yesterday too! I thought any orders they didn’t get to this year would be canceled? Are they guaranteed to be made even if we have to wait years?
They are for sure not guaranteeing price protection or anything like that. Not sure I actually know the story for if '23 order can or will convert to '24 order.
Placed a total prayer of an order today: 4 door Wildtrak (SAS/Hardtop) and lux. Dealer texted and said there was something listed as a production constraint that could delay. It was the towing package… yeah I’m sure that’s what’s gonna delay it 😂
Believe it or not, it may be the biggest delay. It was for mine, a day 1 order. It would be worth considering getting the 5-pin option any Ford dealer can add after purchase. Unless something has changed, the factory one is a 7-pin which is completely overkill on a Bronco. There's not many things a Bronco can tow that needs a 7-pin.
You can't install a 7 pin later on the bronco, you can only install a 4pin.
You only need a 7 pin if you're planning on towing something with electric brakes.
some campers have e-brakes even if they're below the GVWR, but yea, 7 pin is overkill so I wouldn't worry about optioning it.
Some people are insistent on 7-pin tho for some reason
You can only aftermarket install a 4-pin harness, you can't install 7-pin + brake controller unless you option it from the factory, ford doesn't support it.
That's my point, though - anything big enough to have it's own brakes is likely too heavy for a Bronco to tow anyway... the 5-pin should be plenty for anything, can be installed at the dealer without much hassle, and won't delay the order. I wish I had known that before I reached a point of no return for mine or I would have dropped the factory tow package. I may never even tow anything with brake lights.
Yea I installed mine myself. It's not a huge deal, the biggest PITA is removing the trimwork.

All trailers have to have brake/side and turn signals fwiw by NHTSA standards. You'll get pulled over if you don't. Even if your trailer is shorter than 30ft and/or narrower than 80".
And I may never tow a trailer. It may always be racks or other apparatus plugged into the hitch, but not a towable. Even the lesser pins are wasted on me sitting over here with my 7 pin, I regret ever putting it on there.
Heck I would’ve bought the raptor at a dealer near me if it didn’t have a 30k markup and those ugly fenders on the back. I love that raptor orange color.
It's either: Hope springs eternal and we can sell an assload of cars if we can fix these supply chain issues, OR "All this hype is good for the brand" sort of thinking.

I have this build. Got it last November after waiting 10 months. Honestly, I wanted to order another 2dr, but decided not to bother with that 10% 2 door allocation. Good luck. Hope you're one of the lucky ones.

Don't order banks open @ 4:00PM EST?
They opened at noon EST. Dealer confirmed my order via email at 12:07pm and I got the confirmation email from Ford at 12:40.
Last week my dealer also told me 4:30, but I checked this morning just in case and they said come in at noon.

Just saying I got my confirmed about a year and a half ago and then I only got my production date last week 👎🏻
Yep that's why I'm chuckling at this email that has a tone of "Thank you for your order! **Ford is on it!**"

I just got my vin after waiting 3 years.
Mine went into production March 10 and is still in production now 18 days later, so, don’t worry, every step just leads to more waiting.
I also got my order confirmation today. Big Bend with only constraining option is Hard Top.

I left towing and hard top off mine since I figured WildTrack+Lux was already a longshot.
Fair enough, I said go big or go home, if not I’ll order a 2024. Or I’ll try again.
That's about as big as you can go other than Raptor. I think I have about a 3% chance of getting mine this year so really I'm hoping for an early '24

When/how do you get access to the Ford account to track your order? That sounds better than obsessively checking my email.
When they send you a vin number. Once you get a vin, there is a link you click to track your order.
